Daily bread from the life of Y´shua

John 1:11

He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him.

We did not have to come to God. God came to us. And God the Messiah came to his own people, from the bloodline of King David, from the Jewish tribe of Judah. Many Jews believed He was the Messiah, and followed Him. But His own family in the flesh did not receive Him. Even his step fathers family in Bethlehem did not find any room for His delivery into this dark World.

  1. Many Jews still don’t believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. I recently got a bashing from a Jew for my faith in Jesus. Here is what he said:

B”H – Your man-god is an idol for us Jews and that makes you an idol-worshipper…You may think you do the right thing but in reality you are actually angering the One G-d with your stupid man-god and improbable trinity and you are bringing disaster on yourself. If your man-god idol came to me today, I’d hang him back onto his cross where he belongs and shoot him in the head, just to be on the safe side. That is by the way the exact same treatment you deserve in this world and eternal and intense suffering you will get in the next, G-d willing…stop harassing Jews, G-d’s true people, over the Internet with your xtian nonsense.

    1. Nuru,

      Jesus said in John 15

      The World Hates the Disciples
18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[b] If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’[c]

This man who said, “If your man-god idol came to me today, I’d hang him back onto his cross where he belongs and shoot him in the head, just to be on the safe side.” Will surely have to answer to Jesus Christ soon.

Keep believing in Jesus Christ. He loves you!
