To accept “God” as “Allah” in Malay-language bibles and other literature are “logical and acceptable”.
This are the words of Archbishop Joseph Marino, the Vatican’s first official envoy to Malaysia.
After being summoned by the Malayan foreign minister, the Archbishop expressed regrets over this statement, and issued an apology.
Archbishop Joseph Marino issued a statement late Tuesday, after meeting with Foreign Minister Anifah Aman, saying his comments were “never intended as an attempt to intrude into the internal affairs of the country”.
Marino, who arrived in Kuala Lumpur less than six months ago, had last Thursday waded into a religious row in Muslim-majority Malaysia over the use of the word “Allah”.
He described arguments put forward by the Catholic Church in an ongoing court battle for the right to translate “God” as “Allah” in Malay-language Bibles and other literature as “logical and acceptable”.
Soon after, hardline Muslim groups began calling for him to be sent home. Several cabinet ministers also accused him of “interference”.
Controversy over the use of the word “Allah” came to a head three years ago, when the High Court ruled that non-Muslims are allowed to use the word to refer to God in their Malay-language literature.
The court case arose after Malaysia’s Catholic Church sued the government for banning the use of the word in its weekly newspaper, The Herald.
Muslims had denounced the verdict, claiming “Allah” is exclusive to Islam. The government decided to appeal the ruling after several places of worship were fire-bombed.
Malaysia has more than 2.5 million Christians in a population of 28 million, of which about 60 percent are Muslim.

Why do the archbishop in Malaysia call the Catholics to accept God as “allah”?
This has it roots in the Papacy basically submitting to Islam. The late Pope John Paul II even kissed the Koran, after branding the book as “holy”.
By accepting “allah”, you reject the divinity of Jesus the Messiah. You submit to a lie, the claim that God do not have a son equal to Him self.
There is an other motive for the Roman Catholic acceptance of ‘allah”. Only when the Pope accept’s “allah”, the Muslims will be willing to accept the Papacy.
The Pope believe He has to be “The Holy Father” for all creation, and that all religious people must submit to his authority, as “allah’s” highest representative on Planet Earth.
Such is the nature of evil. Such is the nature of deception. Al who have rejected the truth found in the Bible, will eventually be lead astray to follow demonic powers. Do not listen to the Pope and his priesthood. Accept Jesus as eternal God, open your Bible, and pray the Holy Spirit will guide you into all the truth. Amen.

This documents affirmed that “the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Moslems: these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day”.
Also the document Nostra aetate (1965), urging “mutual understanding,” emphasized that “The Church has also a high regard for the Muslims. They worship God, who is one, living and subsistent, merciful and almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, who has also spoken to men. They strive to submit themselves without reserve to the hidden decrees of God, just as Abraham submitted himself to God’s plan, to whose faith Muslims eagerly link their own.”

Ok wise-guy where’d you get that from? The Qur’an is not the problem, infact I even doubt you have read it and understood it. The bad guys and terrorists you see on TV are not true muslims as they go against what the Qur’an says. The Qur’an says that it is not a man’s decision to end a life even if he is muslim or not. Only God is allowed to decide when to end a life. To kill someone just because they are not Muslim is forbidden and you are likely to be destined for punishment by God. Please understand this. Infact the reason we say the Bible BECAME the wrong book was because the Roman Emperor Constantine wanted to unite Pagans and Christians therefore he ordered a conference to pick the best edits of the New Testament which the Pagans and Christians would be happy with. People such as Matthew had their edited versions chosen, this occured approximately 200 years after Jesus descended. He wasn’t even alive during Jesus’ time. Also I would just like to point out that Jesus (Peace Be Upon Him) is one of the Greatest Prophets of God and like you, we await his return. Finally I would just like to say that you should do your research thoroughly in an un-biased manner from lots of reliable sources instead of misleading people about Muslims because of your own ignorance.

In my opinion Mohammed the illiterate bastard made a deal with Satan, like so many people do, and with automatic writing translated the Bible to make the Quran. Quran is very much like the Bible, except all the important parts were omitted. That is why people use Quran with authority and dogma and they CAN, because God, our creator was always the originator of forgiveness, love and truth. Allah (god of this world, who is Satan) banks on that authority to lead people astray. Those poor deceived Muslims have no chance to ever find truth, unless God has mercy on them. very few actually come to know God.

According to Quran Allah is god of this world. The god of this world according to the Bible, which is our creator’s WORD, is satan. So who do we believe? God or the pope?
NO religion is correct. We ALL have to come to God, our creator HIS way and only if we are reconciled to god by accepting new birth ( John 3:3) is that we EVER understand god;s truth. God did not reveal Him self to the Arabs. He revealed Him self to the Hebrews, and took them out of paganism in Egypt.
The ancient moon “god” of Mecca was called “allah”, one of the Arab words for “god”. The Copts in Egypt and the Berbers in Libya have other names for “god”. Do some research.
To claim “allah” to be THE universal and exclusive Arab name for “god” is a lie. Such a claim is also a form of replacement theology, which teach that God of Israel can be ignored.
The Arabs have to embrace God of the Hebrews, Elohim Israel. Not an Arab copycat. The love for Israel and Jews will be a fruit of a true conversion. I know there are Arab Christians who are committed Zionists, but they are not many. They use “allah” for God in conversation with fellow Arabs, in a bid to convince them that the Koran is wrong. I have no arguments with them.
And by the way. God Has an eternal Son, begotten not created. The Messiah is not a mortal prophet.

I did not say that “Allah” is a name of a God, like “John” or “Alfred” are names of persons. Allah is only a common noun that in English is translated “God”, like “father” is a common noun for every person who has a son.
Suppose the name of your father is John, while the name of my father is Alfred. For both of us the name “father” means what it means: your father for you, or my father for me. If now I write a book about the life of my father, you cannot complain that I use the word “father” in my book because my father (Alfred) is not your father (John). In fact the word “father” exixts before both of our father were even born…
But that’s exactly what the Muslim are complaining because Christian Malay people use the common word “God” (in Malay language translated “Allah”) in their Bible. In fact the common noun for God : “Allah” in Malay, Indonesian and Arab languages exists before Mohamed was born and Islam religion was created…

The word “Allah” is of arab origin. The word “Allah” means “God” already centuries before Mohamed came and the islamic religion was created. Even in Indonesia, Catholic people call God “Allah”. In French it’s “Dieu”, In Italian: “Dio”. There is nothing wrong for Malay and Indonesian people to call God “Allah”, like there is nothing wrong for Malay people to call a car “kereta” (“car” in Malay language), or for Indonesian people to call a table “meja” (“table” in Malay language). In fact, maybe you can complain that LATER Muslim people began to call their God “Allah”, but no. Even Muslim people woship God the Father, the God of Abraham, only they don’t believe Jesus is His son, and that makes all the difference for the salvation. Even now in North America I myself go to an Indonesian church, because I don’t understand SPOKEN English but understand Indonesian, and people in the church, Christian and Catholic churches, have no shame to call God Allah. As I have already said above, the word Allah means “God” centuries before Islamic religion was created…
Now I understand that people who don’t speak Malay or Indonesian associate the word “Allah” with “Islam”. Before I started learning Indonesian, the word “Allah” made me instantly think about Islam, but this is a mistake, as the word “Allah” does NOT mean “God of Islam”, it only means “God”. Now for non Indonesian or Malay speaking people, the word “Allah” hurts. But why? Is English better sounding to the ear? What about English words like “crash” (the noise of something crashing), or “splash” (the sound of something falling in the water), or “bump”, or “smash”, does not these words sound barbaric, especially for non English speaking people?

So, the name Allah applies to all people who were created, since there is only one creator. In the beginning, the word Allah was all over in the Bible. Later,the Vatican decided that Allah was not the same god as the Christians and make wars with Muslims, had purged all mention of Allah in the Bible to ‘God’. Now, some non Arab Christians wanted to call their god as Allah.
I think all Christians must agree before it can be done.
Before the Word, and before all things known to man, there was only Him and He was all things and He was everywhere. He IS still everywhere, He is still ALL of His Creation, and will remain after all is gone from this place. We toil now, but will not toil always. We know of this, and that, but without understanding we know neither, we believe in neither. To understand This, we leave That behind and travel one path to Him, with Him. Looking at this site, which wants to give the impression it honours Yeshua, though ignores the mother tongue of that Nazarene Jewish rebbe. In Europe it is known certain Americans want to govern the world and would love to see their language been spoken by all other people. But why should we use your word for ‘God’ when for millennia we have other words also for use. Or do you mean all those who use an other word for God than you use have an other God.
Though looking at your site that may well be, because you like the Vatican worship a three-headed god, and as such like the Roman and other Catholic Churches belong to those who in fact are polytheists, their gods having even less similar character essentials as their main god and as the equality of other gods in paganism their main god.
