Creflo Dollar teach on God TV that “God’s blessings” means his children will have success in all they do in life.

Once in a while, Jesus leads med to watch God-TV. Last time I did, I saw prosperity teachers Creflo Dollar trying to explain to us the true meaning of the word “blessed”. The well suited gentlemen first read this verse.
Ephesians 1:3.
[ Spiritual Blessings in Christ ] Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
Dollar explained that the gospel teach us, that true followers of Jesus will be blessed and have success in all they do.
Lets see what the scripture say about such a definition:
1 Peter 3:14
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear ; do not be frightened.”
Suffering and success is not exactly twin brothers.
1 Peter 4:14
If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.
To be insulted, is also a kind of blessings. I guess when you are not insulted, you are not blessed? Preacher men who use flatter and promise material blessings, will be loved by their hearers, and not insulted, I presume.
Romans 4:7
“Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered”.
If you are supposed to only have “godly success”, where is the issue of transgressing against God?
Acts 20:35
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ “
To be successful in the yes of men like Dollar, you need to “collect” and “receive”. I guess that is why so many God-TV Pastors are so “blessed” with money they have collected?
Lets take a look at all the failures of Christianity, that never managed to live up to Creflo Dollars definition of being blessed and successful in life.
1. Righteous Abel was killed by his brother Cain.
2. Blessed King David murdered a man, to grab his wife.
3. King Solomon ended his life in massive adultery and idol worship.
4. The Apostles Paul wrote about him self as a wretched man.
5. The young preacher Steven, was stoned to death
6. John the Baptists was beheaded while Jesus walked on Earth.
7. Timothy was often sick, and had stomach problems.
8. The Apostles Peter said that gold and silver, he had non.
9. The Church at Laodicea was wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked.
10. All the Apostles, less John, was killed in the Spiritual battlefield.
11. During the ages, millions of followers of Jesus has died as martyrs.
12. Zechariah son of Berekiah was murdered between the temple and the altar.
13. The Prophet Elisha died of a sickness.
I guess they all misunderstood what the true faith is all about.
In conclusion: God-TV do collect millions of US Dollars to stay on the air. But it is amazing how much rubbish this canal manage to present as “Christianity”.

Last year I was Praying one morning and The Holy Spirit spoke this to me, Progress is not Prosperity.
Progress is what an does for man. Prosperity is what God does for His Sons and Daughters and common man benefit from it.
Too many tv Preachers seek their own prosperity and misrepresent scriptures to do so. For instabce, tithes, according to most always involves money. This is not scriptural. They do not tell the congregations of the different tithes , the purposes of each, the time of each nor that they themselves and tithing seldom both come in a same sentence. They never acknowledge that they are not Levites, that the Law was fulfilled by Christ Jesus …
it is solely about money. It is a business. False Shepherds who misrepresent Scripture for their own gain commit perjury, for little if any regard is given to those in the congregation once they have been seperated from money. What ever happened to freely recieved freely give. What ever happened to Compassion and The Character of Christ. What ever happened to be doers of the word and not hearers only?
Recently The Holy Spirit said, This is the time of the seperation of the Sheep From The Goats. You can not hold or comfort Goats, they resist all efforts to help them and They will not follow the Shepherd, they must be ‘herded’ and they will not group, they wonder and stray. Sheep are trusting, They Hear and know the Shepherds voice and will follow none other. The opposit is true of goats. Father God said His People Perish from lack of knowledge of HIM. He did not say this of the world or lost and dying masses. He said it of His Own.I believe most of these will be those that have set under false Shepherds where Truth has been ommitted in exchange for money and control over others. The enemy encroached slyly with the 501c3 Pacts and Treatise (Contracts and Agreememnts) and recently the feds sent to these 501c3 leaders another contract to sign to become their agents in regard to calmly ‘herding’ their congregations and communitties into holding facilities and being submissive subjects to the enemy.
Very few failed to sign up for this.To my awareness only one tried to get out of 501c3 all together and was mercilessly harrassed and persecuted by the feds.A word of comfort, we are in the world but not of it. We belong exclusively too Father God through Christ Jesus. In the land of Egypt during the great famine, Gods People were directed to the Land of Goshen. Goshen means Prosperity in the face of adversity. We must take seriously who we are and whose we are. The Heart of God is the soul of man.
If we do not at the very least Pray for and reach out too those who are to come then whose heads and hands do the blood of those that perish fall? It is not a matter to take lightly or disregard in hopes things will get better or go back to the sin, lust and corrupt world most had accepted as peaceful. Let us not be frogs who do not know when the heat has been turned up to feast upon the flesh of the foolish and unwise.
Hello Gracie,
We are living in the end days. We need to pray and continue to Spread the Word of Christ to everyone.
1 Timothy 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.
Men have abandoned God and have followed things taught by demons, and that includes money. By highlighting what Creflo Dollar does, it is with true hope and prayer, that he see his sins, and repent from them.
The kingdom of heaven is near, and Christ is coming with judgment.
God Bless
When I was young in my naive thinking I used to think that anybody that believed the in the Lord followed scripture specifically. Then I started to listen to Hank Hanegraff of the Christian Research Institute at http://www.equip.org. Now I am careful to check out the pastors I listen to and the sermons they preach.
Here is what Hank says about Creflo Dollar and it isnt good.
Hank Hanegraaff wrote in his book Christianity in Crisis that because of the influence of the Word of Faith movement, the true Christ and true faith of the Bible were being replaced by diseased substitutes. This movement has continued to grow rapidly in the years following the book’s release and several new teachers since have risen to prominence. Among them are Creflo Dollar, T. D. Jakes, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, and Rod Parsley. Along with these new teachers, distortions of biblical truth have emerged. Word of Faith teachers have replaced the all-powerful God of the Bible with a god who has limited power, and have elevated humanity to the status of godhood, placing at its disposal seemingly unlimited power. These modern-day prophets of health and wealth believe that people can speak things into existence, thwart God’s plans, and purchase salvation; that money is the root of all happiness; that Christians are not sinners; and that Jesus did not come into the world as God. Rather than saying to Christ, “Thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory,” today’s self-absorbed brand of Christianity insists that ours is the kingdom and that we have all the power and the glory. Another gospel clearly is being preached in many of today’s most prominent churches, and the prevention of its propagation demands our utmost attention.
Creflo Dollar is typical of many Word of Faith teachers who redefine and re-create God in man’s image. He teaches that “Jesus didn’t come as God, He came as a man, and He did not come perfect.”5
That is smart of you Richard. We all need to test these spirits, that say the are from Christ. Because many claim to know Him, and then teach a different Word, then God’s Word.
1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
God Bless,

Nothing good from god-tv, it’s Satan’s tv filled with tare growers with the purpose to choke God’s wheat to death.

“For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Tune into Dr. Dollars teaching on a consistent basis and u will see that his teaching lines up very well with the word of God.the holy spirit will confirm this. Faith has the power to do whatever it is sent out to do.
So if a believer in Saudi Arabia or North Korea applied Dollars teaching and guidance in their daily lives they would succeed and not have their heads lopped off. Mate believers in NK and Saudi amongst other places are willing o lay their lives down to share Christ and are not motivated by having big cars, sparkly teeth and loads of wonga.
I don’t know if folks that are posting critical comments about Dr dollars teaching have spent any time listening to the man or they are condemning him based on something someone told them or media attacks that have come out but I have spent a couple of years following his teaching as well as many other bible teaching pastors and I can tell you he teaches the true spirit filled word of the most high God and its not all about cars homes money etc its about practical application of the word of God in your daily life I have learned more about our father in heaven and who I am in Christ through this man’s teaching than many other fine bible teaching men of God the holy spirit will give you all the confirmation needed give him a chance you won’t be sorry
Dear Neil Parmer
Shalom.

My reply:
If your try to elevate your self, you will not find much compassion on this site. There have been people sitting at the feet of the Popes for years, and they will be told by News That Matters what kind of wicked and pit full people they are.
I will urge you to comment on the topic. I wrote an article about Mr. Dollar, and his lessons on money and success. Did you read the article?
Even we who have not been seated at his feet, or sat in this congregation, might have been able to read some of his books. Even listen to him from the front row, watching got.tv.
I’m not sure what u mean by trying to elevate myself? And I have zero in common with the pope or the people at his feet! If you follow the true Jesus than we are brothers if not than we are not.the biblical references u gave of great persecution and hardships the men faced is not what most people would consider prosperity but if God was with them than they were rich till the cup runeth over! I celebrate my riches in Christ every day and if he sees fit to bless me materially than so be it he knows what I can handle and what’s best for me.
Dear Neil Parmer.
Shalom.
I can see that we do not have a debate on the topic here. You did not answer my question:
Did you read the article?
Was there anything wrong with my understanding of the scriptures?
The answer to your question is yes I read your article. I have a question for you does a man have to deal with physical ailment persecution and or death to accurately represent Jesus? Gods word tells me plenty about who I am and what outcomes to expect based on faith and obedience.in the u.s currently we are not being faced with that extreme level of persecution so I’m going to continue to be amazed by Gods grace and favor in my life and hold fast to the wonderful promises of his word that tell me all the good he has for me.maybe that’s not as dramatic of a testimony as those you mentioned but I would conclude that it presents God just as well and maybe more so to some.
Dear Neil Parmer.
Shalom.
Thanks for a reflective reply.
It is true that God is good. Jesus is good to us, all the time. Also when he rebukes us, or put us under discipline. When Steven was stoned, Jesus was good to him.
God the Son rose up besides his throne in Heaven. Invited Stephen to come home. Not because Jesus was not capable of keeping Stephen alive on Earth. But simply because the speech he held to the teachers of the Law and rulers in Jerusalem was the very accomplishment of God’s purpose for his life on Earth.
Stephen was a very successful man. He told the truth to people who lived in darkness, and they thought they “killed” him. But as Steven faced the first death, the second death had no power over him. His destiny was his home in Heaven.
Stephen was anointed with prosperity. Not the fleshy false money-gospel, but the prosperity of knowing Jesus the Messiah. In all His fullness. Being sure of His salvation, and longing to return home, as the glory of the Lord was seen in the place where he was martyred.
I hope and pray that all who listen to Dr. Dollar, will agree with me. Because this is the gospel.
I really appreciate the eloquence in the way u the shed light on the intimate dealings between Stephen and Jesus. This to me represents something bigger something of tremendous value something that is not taken in by what is provided on the surface but only by what resinates at the core of those who wear the seal of God and live a life of seeking. It is his love that takes over in our frailties and weakness that graduates u to a place where our estimation ofprosperity and well being becomes primarily found in him.I love being rich healthy and confident regardless of my bank account or outword appearance its in him all glory to him! In closing I would add Dr dollar has been a great mentor to me on this spiritual journey.
even satan can masquerade as a spirit of light…….what is the focus of his teaching? prosperity prosperity prosperity….”it will be easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle the for a rich man to enter heaven….” “we came into this world with nothing and we will leave it with nothing….” The early church’s member sold everything they had and they had all things in-common….I wonder if mr. dollar would sell all he has and follow Jesus?
Yes I WILL… THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! Please send me a dollar!
Watch the dvd ‘Jesus, the cross in China’. In it you will see the most prosperous and richest of believers, richer than any believer in England or America, they go to prison time and time again for the preaching of the Gospel no matter what age they are, one beloved believer was so dissapointed at being released after 20 years of ministering to the lost behind bars that he moved into a shack next door to the prison living in a tiny sqat in order to continue to preach to the prisoners, they do not need lear jets to reach the lost, they walk. In fact the Back to Jerusalem movement involves thousands of Chinese believers walking back to Jerusalem taking the Gospel with them on the way knowing they will face persecution and even death, they dont want flash watches, big cars, white teeth, big mansions, they just want to serve Christ and make disciples, not win converts. Hinn and Dollar claim a jet helps them ‘get there quicker’ but if they left a day early and travelled on normal planes they could also share the gospel with normal people. My treasures are in heaven but in reality, I don’t want them much, what are they in comparison to walking next to the fairest of ten thousand? The cost of Cfeflos jet, cars, homes, bank accounts, investments etc etc could fund hundreds of thousands of believers around the world, build churches, care for widows and orphans etc and he would still have change to live comfortably.
Ol’ Ceflo is one of the adopted sons of the “father of lies”. Nothing comes out of his mouth that is not a lie.
You’re playing with fire (from Hell) if you buy into his bull.

Here is something you will probably never hear in a Creflo Dollar sermon.
Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Mat 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Mat 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Why is that?
1Ti 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
I personally would be wary of someone who teaches gain is godliness and would follow the advice to withdraw myself from among them.
1Ti 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1Ti 6:7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
1Ti 6:8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
If the Lord sees fit to bless someone that is different from seeking riches yourself. We are to be seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness first. How many Creflo Dollars are able to say they have already arrived at the kingdom and righteousness.
Luk 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
Matthew 7:15-20
New International Version (NIV)
15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them”.
Romans 2:19-24
19 if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those who are in the dark, 20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of little children, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth— 21 you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal? 22 You who say that people should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? 23 You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law? 24 As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”
This debate has raged for as long as the Church has existed. Certainly there are those who use the gospel for personal gain, but lets not forget that the apostle Paul didn’t make a big thing of it. He merely pointed it out, but said “at least the gospel is being preached”.
Those of you who speak against the faith and prosperity teachers, do you also speak against those who have healing ministries? Do you reject the gifts of the Holy Spirit as being active in the Church today? If you have a problem with the promise that “the Lord shall provide you with all your needs according to his riches in glory”, are you not “having a form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof”?
I sometimes wander if the real problem is dissatisfaction with our own lack of faith and consequent inability to receive what Jesus gave us, that causes some to get their knives out for those who make an effort to live by faith.
If a “healing” ministry is like Benny Hinn’s then YES, it is a FAKE. You’d think he’d (& other quacks like him) would be in hospitals, nursing home, and healing EVERY person in a wheel chair, instead of begging for money. You can NOT buy, what the QUACKS are selling……ONLY JESUS CHRIST heals whom HE wants to heal. BLESSINGS are from God. If you follow ANY of those from the “faith & prosperity” Godless people, then you are DECEIVED!
Just as I said! They do it for the wrong reasons. But just as Paul said: The gospel is being preached.
They are preaching an EVIL “gospel”, NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Go tell that to Paul.
Paul already knows it…..He warned us about them!
if everybody want to suffer and die for the gospel…. then you will leave many in abject poverty. the gospel is better preached when there is money, at least, it is money we send to those in the field, or are they working? Dollar is a man of God sent to free God people from bondages of ignorance. indeed we are god. jesus said so, he said nothing shall be impossible unto us, if we believe. Do u know how many times jesus told people that they were responsible for their answered prayers and not him. “thy faith has made thee whole”. dont condemn a man of god. judge not, thats what the bible say. just pick the needul from dollar and throw away wat u tink is not correct. in years time u could be spiritually wiser.amen
