US State Department says settlement construction does not “create positive environment for negotiations”. ‬‬

US State Department Spokesperson Jen Psaki responded Wednesday to Israel’s announcement of building 1,500 units in east Jerusalem saying “We do not consider continued settlement activity or east Jerusalem construction to be steps that create a positive environment for the negotiations.”

At no time in the course of pursuing negotiations toward a two-state solution have we condoned settlement activity or east Jerusalem construction,” she added.

Psaki stressed the importance of the peace talks and the need to resolve the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians. She added that releasing prisoners is a difficult but necessary step to guarantee an agreement.

The State Department Spokesperson also addressed prisoner release, saying it “is a difficult but necessary step to help ensure the success of talks. There are steps that have been taken by both sides in that regard. The talks are continuing, and they – both sides remain committed to the nine-month time frame.”

My comment:

The US has military presence in more than 100 nations. Since the people of these nations have never approved such presence in referendums, the American military presence  should be considered an illegal occupation.

The forces American occupation of Okivawa, came after the Ameircan military defeat of Japan.  In the Middle East, the USA has occupied large sectors of Eastern Bahrain. Washington D.C has sent one of its fleets to secure this occupation. The Pentagon controls most of the shipping in the area, and can sink any ship that disobey the American naval authorities.

The International community should now consider to ban the Americans from building in Washington D.C. The issue of American occupations of Okinawa, Bahrain, Guam and dozens of other places, should be revoked before construction activities are resumed.  The people under American occupation, must get their land back.

It would be unfair to single out Israel, and to force the Jews to stop building in their liberated capital Jerusalem.  Israel is not an aggressive military power, who have grabbed other peoples land.  Israel do not operate as pirates of the High seas. And the land Israel owns, are gifted to them according to what us written in the Bible.
