Powerful earthquake removed damnable Catholic idol

A huge Roman Catholic idol of “Jesus” fell from its pillars during the latest earthquake in central Philippines.

A quake-damaged statue of Jesus hangs beside the collapsed Our Lady of Light church in Loon, Bohol, on October 16, 2013.

On Tuesday, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake shook Bohol province in the central Philippines, tearing up roads, collapsing hundreds of structures — including more than a dozen historic churches — and claiming more than 140 lives. All but two of the 20 bridges on Bohol Island were destroyed, hampering rescue efforts. Residents have been warned to stay out of large buildings until their structural integrity can be checked. In the meantime, thousands are temporarily homeless.

My comment:

The living God do marvelous things, in a bid to open the eyes of worshipers of idols.

A Messiah who permits idols is a lawbreaker, and a false Messiah.

Jesus the true Messiah never told his followers to make idols, not even of him self. This kind of instruction is made by the Papacy. It is one of a set of human made rules and regulations that makes a mockery out of the Word of God.

The Bible clearly says: Do not make any idols.

Exodus 20:4-6

‘You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.  You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Exodus 34:17
‘Do not make any idols.

Why not make a statue of Jesus the Messiah?

Have you seen him? Do you now the color of his hair, and the features of his face?

All images of “Jesus” are Roman Catholic by nature.

    1. Dear Brad

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

      You wrote:

God told the people to make statues made of gold of angels. There is nothing wrong with statues.

      My reply:

To make temple furniture had nothing to do with worship. No one kissed the stone work, and claimed to be “holy”.

If you were right, the first “good work” the apostles would do, would be to make a statue of Jesus, bow down to it, offer flowers to it, and kiss its “feet”.

Such wickedness was never seen among the Messianic believers, before Rome perverted the gospel, and led people back into idolatry and paganism.

Satan’s most powerful weapon, is to make and promote copy-cat Messiah’s. When He appears as an “angel of light”, even the elect is in danger of being deceived.
