Daily bread from the life of Y´shua

Luke 2:24

«and to offer a sacrifice in keeping with what is said in the Law of the Lord: “a pair of doves or two young pigeons»

The Mother of Jesus was a sinner, a human like all of us. When God used this Jewish virgin to give flesh to His Messiah, she went to the Temple and gave a sin offering. She did this as explained to her in Leviticus 12:8

  1. “bring two doves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and the other for a sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for her”

    That’s funny. The holy virgin, allegedly sinless from conception. Sorry my RCC friends, she had to be born of sin to bring sin to the Son of Man. God can not create sin.

    1. Yes Mary born of sin…
      Romans 3:23
      For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
      1 John 1:8
      If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

      But of course not to pass on…
      Hebrews 4:15
      15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
