McCain: Congress vote against Syria strike would be catastrophic.
US President Barack Obama met with members of the Senate leadership on Monday at the White House, as the question of whether the United States should attack Syria moved to Capitol Hill.
After surprising Congress with the decision to seek authorization for the use of force in order to punish Syria’s nominal president, Bashar Assad, for using chemical weapons against his own people on August 21, Obama administration officials scrambled to court votes from lawmakers voicing deep skepticism over military intervention.
“If the Congress were to reject a resolution like this after the president of the United States has already committed to action, the consequences would be catastrophic,” McCain told reporters after meeting with the president at the White House. McCain said he was encouraged by the meeting but that there was “a long way to go” to get the resolution passed.

My comment:
The truth is that the USA has supported the Islamic forces that used nerve gas in their own Muslim brethren in Syria. That make the US guilty of similar war crimes as committed in Nazi-Germany.
The nerve gas was either taken by force from Syrian troops, defending the secular dictatorship of Basher al Assad. Or the gas cylinders were stolen from military depots, by commanders that have deserted Basher, and joined al-Qaeda.
It took only 12 years to turn America around. From being attacked by the Islamic Jihad, to become on of its main supporters.
God of the Bible has warned us, that all who desert Him will have problems with their thinking. They will be left with a deprived mind. It will be so foggy inside, that they can no longer separate right from wrong, and good from evil. A former brilliant thinker as John Mc Cain is a good example.

Furthermore, just as they did not think it worth while to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done.
They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy.
Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practise them.
Since it is God who do all this, there is little we as Evangelical Christians can do, but rejoice. The end game inside Zion is just around the corner. The wicked will face judgment and find no exit in Hell. But all the believers will face eternity inside the Kingdom of Heaven.
Let us praise Jesus the Messiah, and put our trust in Him, only Amen.

A former brilliant thinker as John Mc Cain is a good example.<— that brilliant thinker was traded for 'the gold of this world' at least over 22 years ago…and that's a fact! sad to say but it's a fact..he sold his own constituent out to get the supposedly bridge he wanted and the added money that was promised to him for his state by the then President (Pharaoh) "if he would agree to what was being pushed thru at that time'' …the Radio announcer asked but Sir you knew that was not right, Senator McCain responded, Actually in the long run it was best for my State, it is going to happen anyway and this way my State needed the money and the much needed new bridge." (unquote)!! (his thinker may appear to be brilliant, but his choice to remain faithful is still questionable…I do pray what you saw in this man will be returned or appear steadfast for Jesus, for now he is too easily lead to the defense of the 2-sided fence that rises to the need of any given profitable situation. It appears his talent has only been sharpened…. The gentleman has been in Washington a tad too long.
What kind of moral high ground does the US have anyway? Chemical weapons used against hundreds of citizens is horrible, but what about chemicals (and other methods) used against 1.2 MILLION babies each year? Someone should invade the U.S. to protect the genocide of our children.
