This is what Geekwire reported:

The boss of Amazon, Jeff Bezos, has agreed to purchase the Washington Post newspaper for 250 million USD.
Mr Bezos is buying the paper and its other print properties in a personal capacity.
The Post has been owned by the Graham family for 80 years.
This flagship paper, known for its coverage of the Watergate scandal, has suffered in recent years as the internet has hurt advertisement sales and it has struggled to adapt its print coverage to the web.

That the US newspaper flagship is sold to a dubious dot.com baron, is surely a sign of the end times.
The US Presidents, the CIA and The Pentagon could never do away with freedom of the press. They always had to take the independent media into account, and were vulnerable for negative coverage in media they could not control.
Since it would be impossible to do away with the US Constitution, securing freedom of the press: It would be a better strategy to let “friendly business entrepreneurs” put in more friendly staff in the concerned editorial offices.
Since the major newspapers in the US has not been up for sale, till now, Washington D.C did not manage to take full control.
Edward Snowden exposed the unlimited corruption that has taking place in Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo, Google and Facebook. All of them sold out to the criminal espionage teams in the NSA. Now a CIA-puppet has taken over good old Washington Times. This in one of the darkest days of America, since the attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941.
The totalitarian control over Global media is in the pipeline.
