The left tell us that when a peace agreement is finally drafted, most of the public will vote in favor of it.

The idea of holding a referendum is therefore a whole lot of trouble. But let us not despair. Last Wednesday, Haaretz ran a poll on its front page stating that “55 percent of Israelis say they are inclined to vote for a peace agreement.” Ostensibly, this spells joy and merriment for the territorial withdrawal aficionados and haters of the Jewish settlement enterprise.
It is also a declaration on behalf of the Left that a referendum is nothing to worry about, because, as the poll suggests, when a peace agreement is finally drafted, most of the public will vote in favor of it.
But let us dwell for a moment on this misleading headline. Note the use of the word “inclined” rather than straight up support. In fact, only 39 per cent of those polled voiced support, while another 16 per cent said they would “probably” support the agreement.
Next to the graph illustrating the results of the poll, Haaretz also included the wording of the meaningless question that was asked: “Assuming Prime Minister Netanyahu reaches a peace agreement with the Palestinians and calls a referendum, would you vote in favor or against?” I wonder what the people Haaretz polled would say to the following question:
“Would you support or object to an agreement with the Palestinians that would mean dividing Jerusalem, destroying dozens of Jewish communities, uprooting about 100,000 Israelis from their homes and exposing central Israel to daily rocket attacks?”

When the Roman governor Pontus Pilat wanted to release Jesus of Nazareth, he threw the question open for a Jerusalem referendum.
The man of Rome asked the Jewish crowed gathered in his court:
Do you want me to set this man free, or do you want the “Jesus Barabbas”?
The prisoner was a criminal who most likely had committed murder.
Matthew 27: 17
Pilate asked them, “Which one do you want me to release to you: Jesus Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” For he knew it was out of self-interest that they had handed Jesus over to him.
From a wordily point of view, the Jewish hight priest and his mob did a horrible mistake that day. Even calling curses down on their own heads.
All the people answered, “His blood is on us and on our children!”
But from a prophetic perspective, it would have been even worse if Jesus the Messiah had been released. If Jesus had not been crucified and shed His blood for our sins, there would be no redemption possible for mankind.
The high priest and the mob was used by God, to fulfill God’s plan for His Messiah, and for the victory that would take place on Calvary.
Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, “You know nothing at all! You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish.”
He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, a and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one.
Likewise today, the Chief rabies in Israel will be used by God to bring in the rule of anti-Christ. If you love the Messiah, you must accept that it is His will that the man of Lawlessness shall appear first.
If the appearance of the man of lawlessness is delayed, so is also the second coming of Jesus the Messiah.
Why do you want the second coming of the Messiah to be delayed?
Is it not better to get this battle over and done with, and the children of the devil face judgment and eternity in Hell?
Why prolong the ongoing pain and agony, for the scattered children of God?
Israelis are not unknown with internal rebellion against God of Israel. The sheep and the goats among the Jewish people will also be separated, the sheep facing that they are a minority. Than the brief rule of the anti-Christ will come.
Because of the Jewish leaders rejection of Jesus the Messiah, salvation came to the gentiles. Israel will also enable all of us to discern the final anti-Christ. Something to reflect on for all of us.
