Daily bread from the life of Y´shua

Matthew 11:28
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

The Messiah came to take our burdens. But many people do not want to give him their burdens. They want to carry them, and some carry them with them into their graves. There is no Shalom outside of the Messiah, Jesus from Nazareth. Only in Him you will find rest for your souls.

  1. 53 ” Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you (the taken away branch);

54 he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

57 As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me.”

What does “Truly, truly” mean to you in verse 53? What does “unless” mean?

The body lives because it receives real food sustenance. Starve the body and it will die.

Just as the body needs real sustenance, so does the soul, else it will not bear fruit.

The soul lives by real Divine sustenance, the true presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. (John 6:53-57)

  2. Dear Michael,

    Welcome to this site.

How many incarnations are there? One. Where is Jesus? Sitting at the right hand of the Father. But the Catholic Church says He physically in Heaven and physically in the bread. That would mean there is more than one incarnation which is impossible.

Jesus is the Word. We are fed with His Word, not physical flesh:

    Matthew 4:4
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”

When you ingest “Jesus” in a wafer, where does Jesus go? Down the digestive tract? Into the sewer system?

Jesus left us physically and left us with the Holy Spirit which is inside believers. If we already have HIM in us, why do we need to eat Him as bread? We already have Him inside.

God can not be contained in a piece of bread or in a building.

    Acts 17:24

24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands.
