Daily bread from the life of Y´shua

bible_light

Matthew 8:4

«Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift Moses commanded, as a testimony to them».

The Messiah did not want his own people to become law breakers. If the Messiah was going to form a new religion, He would have put an end to the law of Moses. Rather He promoted the law, and was its advocate.

  1. Shalom Ivar,

Praise THE LORD JESUS CHRIST (YESHUA ELOHIM ADONAI)!!!

Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

  2. Jesus also said , “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.” That’s why the early church had Eucharistic meals together ..ie.. Mass.

    1. Dear Jules.

      Shalom.

      You wrote:

“Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

      My comment:

The Roman Catholic Church has totally misunderstood, and teach that the flesh of Jesus literally has to be consumed, and his literal blood drunk.

To eat physical flesh is cannibalism. To drink physical blood is Satanism. Jesus spoke about the cup in the passover meal, remembering the blood that no one drank in Egypt. From now onwards, Jesus wanted the disciples to remember the blood He was going to shed on the cross. When we drink of the cup, we remember the blood that saves. The blood at Calvary Hill in Jerusalem.

Jesus also said: “I am the gate”. No one will claim that the Messiah is a physical piece of metal or wood. A child will understand what I am trying to explain to you.
