Pope Francis says “peace is for all Abram’s children”

“God called Abram, a single person, and that one person makes an entire people”, claims the Pope. But the Pontiff  knowingly delete the promise of a nation given in Genesis 12:1-3.

The Pope do not want to speak about a nation that belongs to God, gifted to the Jews.

Pope Francis has used his homily at Mass this morning to call for peace in the Middle East.

The Pontiff ‘s plea came as he focused his homily on the first reading of the day, from the Book of Genesis, which tells of the discussion between Abram and his cousin Lot about the division of the earth.

“When I read this,” he said, “I think of the Middle East and so I ask the Lord intensely that He give wisdom to all of us, the wisdom to say let’s not fight, you and I, I from here and you from there, the wisdom for peace.”

“God called Abram, a single person, and that one person makes an entire people. If we go to the Book of Genesis, to the beginning, to the creation, we find that God creates the stars, creates the plants, creates the animals, creates the these and the that’s and the others.

“But He creates Man in the singular, one. And God speaks in the singular. He spoke to Abram and gave him a promise and invited him to come out of his land. We Christians have been called one-by-one: none of us is Christian by pure chance. No one.”

The Roman Catholic Bible has a lot of faults and flaws. On of them is deleting the nation of Israel.

This error is found in Genesis 12: 1-3. God do not promise to make all of Abrams children one “people”. God promised Abraam that “I will make of thee, a great NATION”. But first: God changed the name of Abram to Abraham. A new man, called to follow God to build a great nation, and to give the message of the true and living God to all people.

Neither the Christians, nor the Muslim’s have become a great nation. The Jews have. The promise of this nation was passed on to Isaac and Jacob, and further on to Jewish Kong David.

 Genesis 12:2

‘I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.

When God speaks of ONE PEOPLE, he speaks about all who will accept the Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth.  The large majority of Muslims rejects God the Son, and call it blasphemy to talk about salvation in the blood of Jesus, only.

Only faith in Jesus the Messiah will eventually give a human being peace. Everlasting peace.

 John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Lots of people have found this eternal peace, not even knowing where to put Israel on the map. But when you have learned in school about Israel, you can no longer ignore her. Nor starting to mingling with her enemies.

Many Christians who can not accept the NATION of God, will eventually fall into the trap of replacement theology. The very idea that God is finished with the Jews, because they rejected the Messiah. Now, all the promises of the Bible has been passed on to the “Christians”.

If the promises of the NATION is still valid, than many theologians and Christian leaders are in danger of being false teachers. They reject the truth.

This kind of replacement theology, do not take the nation of Israel into account. In 1948, Jesus re-birthed this nation. The state of Israel was formed based on a promise to the forefather of the Jews, namely the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Jesus the Messiah will stand with this promise, of whom He is a co-author.

The Pope is deadly wrong, and a deceiver of the flock.

  1. Ivar, did you notice he said, Abram? He was called that before God changed his name to Abraham Genesis 17. He was 99 years old and God made a covenant with him AFTER his name was changed to Abraham, not before. I just thought that was interesting.

    1. Dear Nannette

      Shalom.

The Pope speaks about Abram because that fits Catholicism. That Abram was loved, when he was living in Ur inside toda’s Iraq. Long time before He, his son and grandson, became Jews, literally “followers of the God of the Hebrews”.

The message from the Vatican is that we are all like Abram, loved by “god”. Even idol worshipers and atheists. Now, lets come together and honor “god”. Forget about Jesus. When we talk about Him, division appears…..Such is the nature of evil.

It is a complicated matter, who is a Jew, and who is not. But if you reject Biblical Zionism, you are not a Jew. You are more likely a pretender, who cling on to your Jewish roots. The secular Zionist “Jews”, who have moved home to Israel, are in many way more Jewish, than their liberal brethren, religious in many ways, who keep on working with the enemies of God of Israel. There are Ultra orthodox Jews who outright works for the destruction of the state of Israel. Not a very “Jewish” behavior.

  2. Dear Ivar.

The Bible in Danish language tells in Genesis 12:1-3 about a “great people” not about a nation. Is the Danish translation inspired by Roman Catholicism? Same thing is the fact in the Norwegian Bible.

    1. Dear Lis.

      Shalom.

The Lutheran Bible translation has a lot of errors, and the latest translations should not be used by any honest Christian.

Genesis 12: 1-3 is one of these errors, but a grave one. In the Amplified Bible, it is written NATION. The King James and New King James has correctly translated this verse. Also in the NIV translation, the instruction of God to Abraham and His family, is correctly given: Build a nation.

And this nation shall never cease to exist, regardless of what Replacement theology try to teach us.

      Jeremiah 31:35-37

New International Version – UK (NIVUK)

35 This is what the Lord says,

      he who appoints the sun
      to shine by day,
who decrees the moon and stars
      to shine by night,
      who stirs up the sea
so that its waves roar –
the Lord Almighty is his name:
36 ‘Only if these decrees vanish from my sight,’
      declares the Lord,
      ‘will Israel ever cease
      being a nation before me.’

      1. I should like to translate this post, but it is rather impossible to translate it in harmony with the scriptual passages. Any proposals?

    1. The 10 lost tribes of Isreal . Who are they and since this is the end times , then the joint blessing to Ephraim and Manasseh has to have been accomplished . Where did Jeremiah take King Zedekiahs daughters to finish the second part of his mission to plant , build , and grow ? He went to Ireland where one of King Zedekiahs daughters married the king . That great company of nations that goes beyond the well , owns the gates of their enemies ( Gibtalter , Panama Canal , Hong Kong , Suez Canal , Midway , etc , etc ) and the fat of the land ( USA , Canada , and Australias wheat fields fed the world . Manasseh ( USA ) split with his brothers ( Ephraim ) and became the greatest nation in the world . The Assyrians migrated from the Black Sea area to Germany and Isreal followed them . Germany are the Assyrians or Assur and France is Reuben , Denmark is Dan . Does anyone think that our Messiah could lose track of HIS chosen people or not fulfill HIS blessings to Ephraim and Manasseh ?
