The general secretary of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit attended the mass in which Pope Francis, the new pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church, was installed on 19 March at the Vatican in Rome.
Tveit joined prominent religious and political leaders from around the world at the mass in St Peter’s Square, marking the official start of Francis’s papacy.
Ecumenical leaders present at the installation included Bartholomew I, the first Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople to attend a papal installation since the schism of 1054.
Tveit attended the event in order to give a “significant expression of the WCC’s collaboration with the Roman Catholic Church, as well as our mutual commitment to church unity and the ecumenical movement.”
“In close collaboration with Pope Francis, we look forward to building on this positive relationship with the Catholic Church that has been nurtured so carefully in the past,” stated Tveit in his letter to the new pope on 13 March.
Tveit assured Pope Francis of his prayers. “Participating in common prayer to mark the start of Francis’s papacy highlights the ecumenical dimension of our shared spiritual life, the heart of what we share as Christians.”
“Let us use this opportunity to pray for and with Pope Francis to reconfirm that we need one another, to address the challenges of the world in our time,” said Tveit.

Church reformer Martin Luther called the Pope for an antichrist.
I guess He would have used the same name for men like Olav Fykse Tveit. Despite being a Lutheran theologian, claiming to stand on the lesson of the Reformation.
To “share the spiritual life” with Roman Catholics, is to approve of their blasphemy and sin against the Holy Spirit.

What we are seeing in our days, is that the harlots are returning home to their mother. All kinds of apostate protestant Churches, are returning home to their mother in Rome.
True Messianic Baptist Churches, can simply not “return home”. Because they never came out of Rome, but has its roots back in the Apostolic age. They have never bowed before the Papacy, and they never will.
In their millions, they chose to die like martyrs, refusing to bow before the Papacy and his “mother of God”.
Do likewise.

I can’t for the love of it, understand why you are using the term “Rev.” about Olav Fykse Tveit. Do you revere him? What does the Bible say about titles like that.
That is like using the title “prophet” for Muhammed. He was no more prophet than Fykse Tveit is a man to be revered.
Their name alone will suffice. IMHO.
Why are “Christians” in Scandinavia lukewarm? Because they have went astray, and they even don’t know it themselves.

Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

What is really sad is some are, and will stay, willingly ignorant.

It is good to have acknowledged who the Mother of harlots is. But how do you Identify her daughters? No other way other than looking at it from a natural phenominon. The blood that runs in the mother also runs in her daughters! Though they may differ in bodily appearance but the same blood runs right in their veins. What is the blood that runs in the veins of the Church? None other than DOCTRINES! Though their name differ but they have traces of same doctrines or teachings! Though the denominations and the Pentecostals claim to differ from their Mother, but their teachings show they lie. They claim not to be Roman Catholics but in the real sense of it, they are! Every Church or organization that holds the Doctrines that originated from the Mother is her daughter. For example, baptism in titles of Father, Son and Holy Ghost, Three God’s in One (Holy Trinity), women ordained as ministers, Bible colleges, celebration of Christmas and Easter, wrong titles to ministers other than the five fold of Eph 4 etc… Don’t be deceived! You may think you haven’t bowed to the devil but he is smarter than the Church! It takes Christ the Word to expose him else you are off too!
