Israel ready for “historic compromise” for peace

“The new government in Israel extends its hand for peace with our Palestinian neighbors,”

New Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon and Benjamin Netanyahu have to talk boldly about "peace".
New Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon and Benjamin Netanyahu have to talk boldly about “peace”.

These are the words of benjamin Netanyahu,  two days before the planned visit by Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama is expected to explore options for renewing stalled peace negotiations with the Palestinians, and Netanyahu struck a conciliatory tone.

“The new government in Israel extends its hand for peace with our Palestinian neighbors,” Netanyahu said. “Israel has proven time and again that it is ready for compromises in return for genuine peace.”

“With a Palestinian partner that is ready to conduct negotiations in good faith, Israel will be ready for a historic compromise that will end the conflict with the Palestinians once and for all,” Netanyahu added.

My comment:

Benjamin Netanyahu have to talk about “peace”, on the event of the “peace maker” Obama. Not doing so, the whole World will blame Israel for Islamic violence and manslaughter.

In regards to this “historic compromise”, we need to see both hands played with open cards, to be able to call a possible bluff.

With the Arabs spits into two terrorist camps, it is simply not possible to see whom of them is the most suitable “peace partner” for Israel. Israel is faced with a bunch of bluff makers. At best we are still facing a not feasible “three-state-solution”.

Down the road, Israel will eventually be forced into a compromise. But there seems to be some more miles to go before the Israeli security cabinet will fall into the final trap.

  1. The clamour for any kind of solution is getting louder. I was surprised to see it even on Coroline Glick’s website a couple of weeks ago.
Notice Prince Charles of England just happens to be lurking around in the background whilst all this is going on. Not a coincidence I assure you!
