The Buddha’s skull bone is placed at Hong Kong Coliseum for public worship.

A relic of the Buddha’s skull bone was enshrined in Hong Kong for public worship in April 2012.
The relic’s 10-day display in Hong Kong and Macao marks the first time the only known part of the Buddha’s skull has been taken out of the mainland.
The relic arrived in Hong Kong at 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon as monks chanted sutras on the apron at Hong Kong International Airport.

As the relic was taken out of the aircraft, escorted by Buddhist masters, a golden 1.38-meter-high replica of the Asoka Pagoda appeared, covered by a bullet-proof glass shield.
Through a specially designed door on one side of the pagoda, the relic could be seen sitting on a lotus pattern, enshrined in a transparent case to ensure stable temperature and humidity.

Like a scarecrow in a melon patch, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good.”

The relic was then transported to Hong Kong Coliseum on a decorated float under police escort. The coliseum was decorated with statues of Buddha and a lotus-shaped ceiling light, with monks chanting, singing and beating drums. When the relic arrived, thousands of devotees raised their clasped hands, holding candles and singing with monks.
“Seeing the relic is like seeing the Buddha. Buddhism offers a wealth of wisdom, which brings true happiness to people,” said Kok Kwong.
“Worshiping the relic can promote people’s inner mercy, purify people’s minds, and is conducive to world peace.”
The skull-bone relic of Buddha, will be on display for public worship for six days to celebrate the Buddha’s birthday on April 28, as well as the 15th anniversary of Hong Kong’s return to the motherland.

It is estimated that more than 300,000 people will worship the relic in Hong Kong during the period. Some 20,000 tickets have been reserved for tourists from the mainland, Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States.
The skull bone was unearthed in Nanjing in 2010 after being buried for more than 1,000 years under the Song Dynasty Changgan Temple.

My comment:
What is the difference between Buddhists hailing a “holy skull bone”, and Roman Catholics doing the same?
Hardly anything. Basically only the name of the “deity” behind such idolatry is different. The Catholics claiming to know “Christ”.
This kind of babylonian religious practice, is an abomination and makes God the Creator angry. He is slow to anger, full of compassion and mercy: But there is limit. Surely Jesus the Messiah has no part in such wickedness.
[ Gods of Babylon ] Bel bows down, Nebo stoops low; their idols are borne by beasts of burden. The images that are carried about are burdensome, a burden for the weary.
Repent, from this kind of religious wickedness and embrace the living God, Jesus the Messiah. Worship Father, Son and Holy Spirit is spirit and in truth. Amen.
God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”
If you do not repent, the eternal lake of fire will be your eternal destination. A horrible place with endless pain and agony.

this is pure crazy!! so the Catholics are now supporting another skull…down the streets…I don’t think there is an end to what these Catholics will go or do to get the power they want so desperately…up to and including destroying all that are not in agreement with them and the Pope…they thinking they do God a service just like the Muslims will kill people..they’re taking Jesus out of the equation and substituting a ‘false Jesus’ to include the silly ones who think they are following Jesus…making excuses for His Word saying he don’t mean such and such, it’s Okay….they don’t give Truth for answers but their own experiences..yet He does tell us they will hate us like they hated him…(smile)…Thanks Lord..(no disrespect in that smile)…!
God help us….people worshiping the bones of dead people…all while the Word of God is opening up to so many who are diligently seeking Him with all their hearts…these keeping their eyes on Jesus and staying in His Word…
Ge looks ominous ..and kinda little erie,. why the fascination with the dead relics beats me common sense..?
it’s a trait of Satan…just one of his many traits
