In the UK 3,000 doctors are set to place many thousands more patients on so-called “death registers”.

The face of government-run socialized medicine just keeps getting uglier in Britain, where as many as 3,000 doctors are set to place many thousands more patients on so-called “death registers” where they are ultimately denied treatment – all to save a buck.
Being placed on the registers means those patients have been singled out “to be allowed to die in comfort rather than be given life-saving treatment in hospital,” Britain’s Daily Mail reported.
Some 3,000 doctors are expected to draw up lists of patients they expect will die within a year, according to Department of Health data the paper reviewed, noting that the registers were part of an unpublicized program that has been endorsed by government ministers.

My comment:
Post-Christianity in Europe has not much to offer when it comes to moral and ethics. Today, most of the Europeans have returned to some kind of paganism, and putting a curse down on their own heads.
On of the curses, is less respect for human life.
In India, Hinduism makes it difficult for the poorer sections of girls to survive infancy. Old traditions linked to dowery, makes a girl child unwanted.
Parents have to pay through their teeth to get each daughter married. A man who gets only daughters, is facing an economical disaster.
When a son is sick, the family will even sell their gold to get the best medical treatment. When a daughter is sick, they do not even call the doctor. The death is registered as ‘natural death”.
1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
In Europe, barbarism has returned. Based on an increased demand for profit, even medical companies and hospitals let their patience die. It gives a boost to the shareholders.
Jesus the Messiah told plainly why many human beings will reject His call to repentance.
John 3:19
This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
In Hell, many wicked doctors and health staff will get unlimited time to reflect on the extreme evil they accepted in their clinics.

How does this work among the believers?
Have they come up whith a better practice for bridal dowries?
My question refers to Ivar’s comment about the situation for girls in hindu India.
two thousand years ago, Christ said the LOVE OF MONEY, (not money) is the ROOT OF ALL EVIL. history has proven that out again and again. money can be used for good or evil to save Or take lives. but human greed apparently knows no bounds. only history knows how many millions have been slaughtered, tortured, killed and left to die all to profit someone else. we are seeing that today in courts across the globe where infants, and children are trafficked through thoroughly corrupted courts while families are destroyed to fatten the pockets of multiple court employees.

Ivar,
You really should look a little deeper into the motive for this kind of reporting. The fact is that it is only because of the existence of the British National Health Service that most of those people will have lived as long as they do. Prior to the NHS, which is based on the ‘good Samaritan’ principal, people either had the money to pay for health care, or they died.
The NHS is struggling because the current British government is ideologically against the principal of free health care. They want to return to a system that profits from the sick. (The godly conservative American type!!!) The last time the British Tories got into power they introduced capitalist ‘Competitive Tendering’. That allowed their friends to profit from contracts that included hospital cleaning. The end result was dirty hospitals and SARS.
Doctors and health staff have a limited budget to work with, so they have to make choices.

Thanks for feedback.
Where are all the Florence Nightingale’s?
Dont get me wrong, I do not advocate euthanasia. And theres nothing wrong with free health care, as long as 1/ It is genuinely affordable and 2/ Its not being abused by either patients or healthcare employees.
What your forgetting, is that when the nhs was founded 1948, Britain was still (just) a major world industrial power, albeit one that was rapidly having its former colonies systematically dismembered and restored (usually) to democratic independence. The nhs was birthed as the empire was dying.
We had back then a powerful manufacturing base, able to produce plenty of goods to export. We had a GENUINE skilled working class that WORKED in jobs (amazing!!) coal, steel, shipbuilding, railways, precision engineering, defense systems, textiles, cars, aerospace, nuclear energy being some of the major, now largely defunct ones…… In the post war era, a series of unrealistic aspirations generated by succeeding govts-a combination of trade union greed AND capitalist greed (how many have NOT been seduced by the promise of govt money?), has conspired to eradicate this manufacturing capability. The industrial cash cow has basically been killed off, although M Thatchers deregulation of the City helped to stave off the inevitable at least for a while…..G Brown & co borrowing zillions on tick cant avoid this reality…So the situation is now very different. We do not have such strong exporting capability, we borrow to sustain unrealistically lavish consumerist lifestyles encouraged by a litigous entitlement mentality. This includes healthcare. A bigger population, that lives for longer, with much higher expecations of what the nhs can and should provide for them….Who or what is then going to pay for free health care? Any sensible suggestions (apart from the convenient current mantra “tax the bankers”)?
