Italy signed “peace deal” with Islamic terrorists

Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga revealed that Aldo Moro allowed Arab terrorists freedom of movement in Italy in exchange for immunity from attacks in the country.

The Former Italian President admitted in 2008 that Italy had given Islamic terrorists to operate from its soil.

In a letter appearing in a  2008 weekend edition of the respected Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, former Italian President Francesco Cossiga revealed that the government of Italy agreed to allow Arab terrorist groups freedom of movement in the country in exchange for immunity from attacks in Italy.

Cossiga wrote that the government of the late Prime Minister Aldo Moro reached a “secret non-belligerence pact between the Italian state and Palestinian resistance organizations, including terrorist groups,” in the 1970s. According to the former president, it was Moro himself who designed the terms of the agreement with the foreign Arab terrorists. Ironically, Moro later met his death at the hands of homegrown Italian terrorists, the Red Brigades, in 1978.

“The terms of the agreement were that the Palestinian organizations could even maintain armed bases of operation in the country, and they had freedom of entry and exit without being subject to normal police controls, because they were ‘handled’ by the secret services,” Cossiga explained.

As Interior Minister, Cossiga said that he learned PLO members in Italy had diplomatic immunity as representatives of the Arab League.

When he became alarmed by the heavy weapons defenses installed around the homes of PLO members living in Rome, the guards were persuaded to switch to light arms.

Cossiga was later elected president of Italy from 1985-1992 and is today a senator-for-life in the Italian legislature.

My comment:

If anyone feel that there is a secret death pact between major European nations and Islamic terrorists, let this testimony of a Former Italian President be a wake up call.

They agree that the focus of Islamic terrorists must be on Israel.  Like the “peace deal” between Hitler and Stalin, that gave the Nazi-leader the “freedom” to attack France and the UK without Russian interference.

Stalin realized to late that He had been deceived. In December 1941 the Communist leader faced the total defeat at the very gates of Moscow.  A deal between devils will never bring truth and security.

The above video explains the broader story behind the the testimony of the former Italian President Francesco Cossiga .

  1. Does this surprise anybody? History repeats itself constantly. The same country signed a peace treaty and allied themselves with Hitler. No doubt they will change sides again when the Arabs lose the war that is coming.

    1. Dear Tom.

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

There were many foolish leaders who promoted Europe signing a “peace agreement” with Hitler, to secure peace and safety in Europe.

But Winston Churchill stood up and refused to bow down to the massive pressure.

America had to be attacked in December 1941, to join the war Churchill was fighting almost alone in Europe.

The “peace deals’ with the PLO can only be understood in this context. It is a massive betrayal of Israel, and make all European nations AGAIN guilty of the blood of the Jews. Hardly a generation has passed, and the children of Satan flock back to him, and makes him ‘lord and god”.

Last time the Europeans did so, 60 million people were slaughtered in the war that followed.
