Levy report hints at annexing Judea and Samaria

Right welcomes report saying State must legalize all West Bank settlements, illegal outposts. ‘Gov’t must treat these finding as its new creed,’ ministers say‬‬.

The Levy Report gives Benjamin Netanyahu a chance to annex the Jewish properties in Judea and Samaria.

Will the Levy Report bring about a fundamental change in the government’s settlement policy? Many in the Right urged Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to adopt the report’s recommendation on legalizing illegal West Bank outposts without haste but a top legalist warned of the international ramifications.

The committee, headed by Supreme Court Justice (Ret.) Edmond Levy, submitted its report in June, but its official findings were only made public on Monday.

The panel ruled that the State must devise ways to legalize contested settlement and outposts in the West Bank and ease land acquisition and zoning protocols for Jews residing in the area.

The committee’s findings stand to significantly change the legal reality in the West Bank, especially when compared to the 2005 Sasson Report on construction in the West Bank, which deemed 120 outposts as illegal.

MK Uri Ariel (National Union) called the Levy Report “One of the most worthy and just reports ever penned… It aims to right the historical wrong introduced by the Sasson Report.

My comment:

One of the major mistakes in the history of the state of Israel was made in 1967.

When the IDF had liberated Jerusalem and the districts of Judea and Samaria, the Government did not annex these Jewish properties.

The failure of implementing Israeli national laws in these areas, gave the enemies of Israel time to regroup and act.

The so-called “Oslo process” could not have taken pace, without the Mountains of Zion being ran by an “temporarily military ordinance”.

Today, it is not possible to rout out Islamic terrorism from this area. The fraudulent “Oslo-accord” legalized the PLO,  and made Ramallah a center of Islamic hate towards the Jewish people.

 Genesis 17:8
The whole land of Canaan, where you are now an alien, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you; and I will be their God.”

But to enforce Jewish laws in the Israeli settlements will at least keep the Islamic cancer from growing further. The Jewish settlements is the very frontiers of freedom, human rights and democracy.

Let us pray that Benjamin Netanyahu still is Zionist enough to make townships like Arial as Jewish by law as Haifa and Tel Aviv. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

  1. The 1922 San Rhemo agreement set the boarders for both Israel and its Arab neighbors. That agreement had the signature of the Arab delegation, as well as the Jewish, and those representing the international community.

Arabs got their share of what had formerly been the Ottoman Empire. (None of the land had been under Arab or ?alestinian ownership)

The Arabs then broke their agreement by opposing the Jews having their share. The British government (that had the League of Nations mandate to govern the land) then gave 80% of that Jewish homeland to the ?alestinians as an extra Arab homeland in the form of Jordan.

The Arabs accepted that gift, and then demanded the rest of the Jewish homeland. So the UN came up with the Partition Plan that created the West Bank.

For the sake of peace, the Israelis accepted their drastically reduced homeland and declared the independent state of Israel. The Arabs rejected the UN decision and declared a war that continues to this day.

It is time Israel stopped worrying about international opinion and took its promised land. Jews are going to have to defend themselves against their enemies anyhow. Better to have the front line on the other side of the river.
