Fruits of Japan’s tsunami starts to hunt California

Over a million ton of wreckage form Japan’s can flush up on the shores of California and Alaska.

Large parts of the Pacific is full of filth and garbage. Some of it will pollute the beaches in California.

Wreckage from Japan’s tsunami – fishing gear and furniture, footballs and ships – has swept across the Pacific far faster than expected, with thousands of tonnes projected to land on North American shores this year.

Scientists believe lighter objects such as buoys and oil drums began reaching land last November or December. The rest is spread over thousands of miles of ocean between the Midway atoll and the northern islands of Hawaii.

About 95 per cent will probably never come ashore and is destined for that massive swirl of floating plastic known as the north Pacific garbage patch. The remaining fraction is due to reach the west coast of the US and Canada in October.

But there have already been some bizarre finds. This week a beachcomber in British Columbia found a moving crate containing a rusting Harley-Davidson motorcycle registered to Japan’s Miyagi prefecture, which absorbed the brunt of the tsunami. The crate also contained a set of golf clubs.

Japanese government estimates 4.8m tonnes of debris – parts of factorybuildings, houses, cars and trees – were swept into the ocean during the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami.

Heavy items sank to the ocean floor close to shore. But at least 1.5m tonnes of debris, including small ships, lumber, and even steel beams was carried off by currents and began making the 4,500-mile journey across the Pacific

My comment:

Man is a fool. And we all sail on the same ship of fools.

When man pollutes God’s creation, he harms him self and his children. It is like man is pissing in his own pants.

Genesis 1:21
So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

The Bible explains that life in the sea shall not only face tsunami. Sea life is approaching a under water man made “holocaust”.

Revelation 8:9
a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.

The only solution to this fruits of the darkness of mankind, is Jesus the Messiah.  Heaven and earth till pass away, but His Words are eternal.

  1. Revelation 11:18: “The nations were angry,
    and your wrath has come.
The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your people who revere your name,
    both great and small —
AND FOR DESTROYING THOSE WHO DESTROY THE EARTH.” (emphasis mine)

Can I get an “AMEN” to this?

  2. Amen…. (question why can’t they get a huge net and scoop at least several scoops up of the debris you can see’…it was and is done when there is an oil spill..what about the people swept up in that tsunami….are they just food for the fish, (like in the days of Noah, all animals and humans were a Great Dinner for the Ocean Fish..) or is it possible any will any make it across the Ocean to American, Canadian, or Mexican even South America?? What a mess!! What a mess it will do all that death as well as the debris of objects.. but to God be the Glory in what He has/is/will do!

  3. The biggest problem with the mess that’s in the center of the Pacific is that no nation, or even consortium of nations, wants to take responsibility for it. The costs for cleaning it up would be enormous and it would be a huge logistics problem as well. Even if they could somehow round it up, to where do they tow it and what do they do with it when they get there? So there it sits (and grows) poisoning and injuring marine life.

The interesting thing about the Book of Revelation is that the longer time goes on, the more believable it becomes. Little more than a century ago, many theologians scratched their heads over it and assumed that it was depicting a time very far in the future (if they were Bible-literalists) or that it was somehow allegorical (if they tended to spiritualize the Bible, as many were beginning to do, at that time). They couldn’t imagine that any nation could muster a 200-million-man army (and now both China and India each could easily have an army of that size). They also could not imagine how men could “destroy the earth”. Oh–maybe a few cannon ball craters that could soon be put back to rights, or even setting fire to a forest or two, but that would soon be rectified by nature, as it always had been. In their thinking, only God could “destroy the earth”—so that verse (Rev. 11:18) made no sense at all to them.

    1. I did read an article a few days ago about this. It is true that no one wants to take responsibility for the action of cleaning up. To know that the World that God created for us is not being cared for shames me. When it comes down to it, many in this world (not all) care more about money than anything else.

And as to Revelation 11:18: Amen!
