World leaders calls them selves «friend of Israel». The last anti-Christ will be branded as the greatest of them all.
UN, EU, US and Italy. All send their leaders to Israel and shake hands with the Israeli government. Hundreds of thousands of Roman Catholics are pilgrims in Jerusalem every year.
But do they all have Israels best interests in mind?
What is it about this small Jewish state, that draws so much attention?
The Bible explains that the city of Jerusalem will host the battle between the last anti-Messiah and the returning true Messiah. The fake will have to come before the real. Do not end up worshiping the first to arrive. He will enter the city of David, place Him self on the throne, inside God`s temple.
Daniel 11:36-38
The King Who Exalts Himself
The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place. He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the one desired by women, nor will he regard any god, but will exalt himself above them all. Instead of them, he will honor a god of fortresses; a god unknown to his fathers he will honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts.
Many people wounder who this man will be.
Why will he be welcomed into Jerusalem?
Who He is, can best be explained with what He will do. He will come as the ultimate «friend of Israel». He will bring «peace» to the Middle East.
The «sign and wonder movement» within «Christianity» will fall flat for the last powerful anti-Messiah. Many Churches are now welcoming any kind of deceptive spirits that manifest it self in their congregation. They even announce «Miracle festivals». Who wants to listen to Biblical end time warnings of false miracle workers?
Also many Jews will be fooled by this last deceiver. The Jewish people have always done all they can to get peace. When war is looming, and the destruction of Israel seems to be unavoidable, the Jewish people will listen to the man of lawlessness.
When global leaders claim «World peace» is at stake, the Jewish people will be forced to overlook that the false Messiah will present a god, unknown to their forefathers. The politically correct melody in Jerusalem will be «Look at the miracles. Lets get peace, peace now at any cost».
The last false anti-Messiah will be worshiped as god by hundreds of millions of people all over the globe. In hundreds of thousands they will come to Israel, to the city of Jerusalem to worship him.
Few people will listen to the warnings from true Messianic believers. Who has patience, to wait for the Messiah to return in the clouds of Heaven? Critical voices will be branded as the enemies of god, a stumbling block to be removed, a threat to peace and prosperity.
2 Thessalonians 2:3
Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for (that day will not come) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
What kind of rebellion is this?
There have never been a One World religion since the time of the Tower of Babel. There have never been a religion that seek unity between all religions, a «God» that accepts all kind of idols and religious stuff.
Should not the true Messiah be a man of «peace», who perform mighty sign and wonders?
Absolutely. But learn from the episodes around Pharaoh, when He faced Moses. If the Hebrews had opted for peace, they would never have followed God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob out of Egypt. In pure rebellion and disbelief in the Sinai desert, many of them wanted to return to «peace» and slavery in Egypt.
Do never forget that both God´s power and the occult forces of darkness took place right in front of the ancient Egyptian leader.
Jesus warns us that Satan, through the last Jesus-copies, will get power to perform miracles, sign and wonders.
Matthew 24:24
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible.
Get ready for a tough ride before the rapture. But in Jesus, we will get our victory in the end.
Matthew 24:22
If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
Daniel 12
The End Times
At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
At times like these, I am so thankful that we have these comforting words from our Savior:
John 14
New International Version (NIV)
1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God[a]; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Good post. Many Bible believers are convinced that the beast is Islam but for reasons mentioned in your post as well as many other Bible verses this cannot be the case. If you’re interested, I put out a fairly detailed study on the antichrist and his connections to Israel found here {http://littleguyintheeye.wordpress.com/2011/02/26/mark-of-the-beast-11-zionism/}
sorry meant unrelated video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSAMkxOJ7tA Norway
This is great post referring to the coming of Messiah http://doubleportioninheritance.blogspot.com/2011/08/ten-days-of-awe-leading-up-to-yom.html
Mr. Ivarfjeld,
Here is an article for you: Reuters Africa,
Update 1 Pope warns Lutherans of Christian Challenge
It’s about Evangical and Pentecostal Churches.
Dear Rose.
Shalom.
Thanks for this warning. This article is very interesting, and will surly trigger a response from us in New That Matters editorial team.
Little guy in the eye Islam isn’t the beast. The beast is the anti-christ also known as Dajjal in Islam its that guy that most of the leaders and famous people worship and they are awaiting his arrival. They are not paying homage to Jerusalem by having a sit down with their leaders they are paving the way for the Anti-christ with all the construction going on around Al-aqsa. When the time is right you will all realize that Jesus was a in-fact muslim he wasn’t a christian. Christianity is a religion of many great principles but if you are serious about your religion you will realize that Islam is the only truth.
For example Jesus never claimed that he was God you guys just label him that.
Verses from the Bible
In Matthew 5:48 –
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”
In Matthew 6:1 –
“… otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 7:21 –
“Not every one that sayeth unto me (Jesus), Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven: but he that doeth the will of my Father, which is in heaven.”
He keeps stressing that God is in heaven never did he say he was God.
Matthew 19:16-17 –
“And behold, one came and said unto him, ‘Good master, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?’ And he said unto him, ‘Why callest thou me good? (There is) none good but one, (i.e.) God, but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.’ “
In the above verses we note this acknowledgment of his submissiveness (to Allah’s Will).
Matthew 21:45-46 –
“And when the chief priests and pharisees had heard his parable, they perceived that he spoke of them. But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude because they took him for a Prophet.”
Here it is proved that all those who believed in Jesus during his life-time did not believe in him being God or the Son of God or one in the doctrine of Trinity; but they believed in him as being a Prophet only. This is indeed one of the strongest points of evidence against those who believe in the Divinity of Jesus (Incarnation of God) if only they pondered.
Little guy in the eye thanks for the site has a lot of good information. Thanks didn’t know fox(666) and that dollar sign is mocking the so-called crucifying of Jesus even though im muslim and I believe that he was ascended to heaven and someone took his place to die on the cross for him. To me Jesus is a prophet that I admire but I refuse to give him the traits of God. That’s why a lot of events are going on in the world today the recession because they are making Gold and Silver a way for them to hide money or the value. I guess anyways thanks I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to subliminal messages and hidden information thats why I find it helpful even though I heard a lot of bad things about the U.S. dollar im sure the same could be found in Italian currency, the euro(or pound) and im sure in canadian money also..
Hi Ivar ,
Good post .
You wrote :

I am not a fan of the word ‘ rapture ‘ which you have use very often .
I cant find the word in the bible . As I know , Mathew 13;30 (KJV)
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
This verse says that , the reaper is gathering the tares first then the wheat . Evil doer will be taken first .
This might be the reversal of so called rapture .
I hope you dont mind me sharing this vid , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dvI1qzKPFQw
Thank you
Hi nicolas,
You are correct, the word “rapture” does not occur in our English translations. However, the word “harpadzo” (meaning to be caught up or snatched away) in the Greek does occur and in the Latin Vulgate, “harpadzo” was translated into the Latin, “rapturo” (originally, it meant to be “taken away”) which we have transliterated into the English word “rapture”. The context of the passage where the Church is “caught up” doesn’t really call for a single word, “rapture” so the Greek wording was merely translated into the English equivalent. English-speaking Christians just speak of it as the Rapture because that is a convenient way of referring to the event. Yours is a common misunderstanding—hope this clears it up for you. 🙂
Hi Ellen ,
Thank you for your kind reply . You have explained well about the word ‘rapture’ . Aside with the translation , let us read …
Mathew 13;30 (KJV)
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
——
This verse contradict the concept of rapture .
Hi nicolas,
I agree that, on the surface, that passage would seem to teach against the pre-Trib Rapture position. BUT, to understand WHAT is being spoken of there, it is important to understand WHO is being spoken of and who is being spoken TO. It is also important to understand the difference between the “Kingdom of God” and the “Kingdom of Heaven”. (Hint: Jesus said in Luke 17:21 that “the Kingdom of God is within you”—implying that it is a SPIRITUAL Kingdom while the Kingdom of Heaven is, I believe, an EARTHLY Kingdom—that is, the Millennial Kingdom, referred to in Acts 1:6 as well as being the subject of a fair bit of Old Testament prophecy.)
Most all Bible scholars will admit that the Book of Matthew was written TO the nation of Israel. To this day, the Book of Matthew is the one used most often for evangelizing the Jewish people. In addition to being evangelistic, it was also prophetic—telling the Jewish believers of a time well into the future (Jeremiah 30:7 calls that time, “the time of Jacob’s trouble”)—the Tribulation. The Matthew 13:30 passage is in linkage to Matthew 24:30-32. The parable is also fully explained by Jesus in Matthew 13:36-43. (You can tell that Jewish/Israeli believers are being spoken of because righteousness—as well as “blamelessness”—are terms that are applied to Jewish people when they follow the Law of Moses—NOT to Gentile Christians. Our righteousness is the righteousness of Christ—during this, the Church Age when we, as Gentiles, are not observers of the Law of Moses. Our acts are “not of ourselves lest any man should boast”.) Note that in the Matthew 13:36-43 passage, the “sons of the kingdom” are the “good seed” and that vs. 40 tells us that the “end of the age” is being described. In vs. 41, we are told that those who are “stumbling blocks” and those who “commit LAWLESSNESS” are the weeds (tares). Many who believe in the pre-Trib Rapture are, I think, in error, when they teach that Matthew 24:36-43 is teaching about the pre-Trib Rapture. I think it is instead teaching about Christ’s Second Coming, when the subjects of the Kingdom of Heaven will be separated into “sheep and goats” or, alternatively, when the weeds will be gathered and burned and the good grain is gathered into the Millennial Kingdom.
The confusion comes about because it has been thought that the Lord preached about the “Kingdom of God” and the “Kingdom of Heaven” somewhat interchangeably—which, of course, they would be, at the “end of the age”. Because He preached primarily to the Jews, the subtle difference was lost when the Church was expanded to include Gentile believers. BUT is is VERY significant that ONLY the Book of Matthew uses the very term, “Kingdom of Heaven”—which is the term used for the actual earthly [Millennial] Kingdom promised to the nation of Israel from ancient times and which was, of course, never realized. Believing Israel will be at the head of the nations during the Millennial Reign and the Lord’s “rule of Iron” will be issued from the earthly Jerusalem (while the Church, the Bride of Christ waits in the splendor of the New Jerusalem in heaven—until “her” descent at the end of the Millennial Reign (see Rev. 21). Jesus’ Jewish disciples understood that the earthly Kingdom was to be yet in the future when they asked about it in the Acts 1:6
passage.
But, since the true Church, the Bride of Christ (see Rev. 3:10 and Luke 21:36 for those who will be in that number) is NOT appointed to the wrath of God that will come during the Tribulation, we come to a pre-Trib (or, at least mid-Trib among those who separate “Satan’s wrath” from “God’s wrath”) Rapture position. Make sense? 🙂
welcome!! so since “you” are close!! lets see can you reconize me!! “son of predictions”……..
your relationship with “people” is all that matters..
