President Obama spoke about his Christian faith, during the prayer breakfast in the White House in Washington, February 2nd.
Here are some of what President Barak Hussein Obama said:
“Just last month, it was inspiring to see thousands of young Christians filling the Georgia Dome at the Passion Conference, to worship the God who sets the captives free and work to end modern slavery. Since we’ve expanded and strengthened the White House faith- based initiative, we’ve partnered with Catholic Charities to help Americans who are struggling with poverty; worked with organizations like World Vision and American Jewish World Service and Islamic Relief to bring hope to those suffering around the world”
President Obama has again claimed he is a Christian. But he underlines that the teachings of Jesus are inline with Islam.
“But for me as a Christian, it also coincides with Jesus’s teaching that “for unto whom much is given, much shall be required.” It mirrors the Islamic belief that those who’ve been blessed have an obligation to use those blessings to help others, or the Jewish doctrine of moderation and consideration for others”.
President Obama also seek a social just “god” who can be found in many religions
And so when I talk about our financial institutions playing by the same rules as folks on Main Street, when I talk about making sure insurance companies aren’t discriminating against those who are already sick, or making sure that unscrupulous lenders aren’t taking advantage of the most vulnerable among us, I do so because I genuinely believe it will make the economy stronger for everybody. But I also do it because I know that far too many neighbors in our country have been hurt and treated unfairly over the last few years, and I believe in God’s command to “love thy neighbor as thyself.” I know the version of that Golden Rule is found in every major religion and every set of beliefs — from Hinduism to Islam to Judaism to the writings of Plato.

My comment:
I became aware of Obama’s address, through a Norwegian Christian daily who printed Obama’s full speech to support their view that the US President is a Christian. There is obviously a need to rebuke and correct such falsehood.
The Christian faith is not a “social justice” movement. The Christians faith is neither a matter of US tax policies, nor working in interfaith projects with Islam.
Such a movement walk in the spirit of anti-Christ, and deny the cross and blood of Jesus of the Bible.
The gospel is about a mankind who is lost, and will be judged and sent to Hell. That is what all men deserve. But God so much loved the World, that all who surrender to the cross and give their life to Jesus, shall be saved from the fire of Hell.
Obama never preach about the cross. He represent a kind of false Christianity, that leads the flock towards the End time religion. It will be a mix of Catholicism and Islam, and will include almost everything. But not the cross.

Kashrut are the Torah laws that HaShem l(itteraly means The Name) a common jewish referance to the G’d of Abraham. Using HaShem, instead of using G’d’s name. This is done as a matter of reverance, because G’d is holy and great care must be taken when using His name. Some believe that His name is too holy to even utter. We at this time do not even know the propper way to pronounce His name because the vowels have been lost. G’d gave laws to Israel on keeping clean, or kosher. These laws pertain to which foods we are to eat, to what we are to wear, to how animals are to be killed, ect. These laws are intended to keep Israel seperate from the Gentiles. They were given to protect Israel from worshping pagan gods. Keeping kosher is a huge object lesson in keeping the Holy seperate from the profane.
Don’t forget that Israel was to be a light unto the nations. The nations could observe and learn the importance of guarding against anything that is sinful.

I am a Christian sinner saved by Grace. I do know that there was a reason that God told Moses to tell the people that “I AM” was how He was to be addressed. A millennium later, Yahsua (Jesus) made that same claim about Himself. He also claimed that He was the possessor of all power and authority, which can only be attributed to the God of all eternity. When Phillip asked Jesus to “show us the Father, and that will be good enough”, Jesus responded “Haven’t I been with you so long that you still don’t know who I am? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? (they are inseparable). In Acts, Paul wrote that “there is NO OTHER NAME” given under heaven by which we must be saved (than Jesus/Yahshua). So the only name given by the Great God Almighty for our reference to Him is Jesus/Yahshua, who is the great mystery of the ages, and who purchased our sinful souls with His own blood. God Himself was the only one who could pay that price, and who died for first the Jew, and then for we, who have been grafted into the vine (Israel).

Always cherish your gift of salvation, it was purchased at a very heavy price. As for grace, this is not a New Testament concept. Even prior to Yeshua’s earthly advent, everybody was saved by grace. First let’s define grace, it is unmerited favor. Genesis 6:8, But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Abraham was also saved by grace, his faith was accredted to him as righteousness. That was by grace, because even though he was faithful, scripture says… that Abraham was save by grace, for if he wasn’t, then he would have something to boast about.
Remember when G’d made the covenant with Abraham, he put Abraham into a deep sleep. Then something like a torch went through the animal peices. The torch was in Hebrew, the MEMRE. This ment that He would keep both parts of the covenant. So when Israel broke the covenant, it then meant that Yeshua would have to pay the price, all by Himself, if He were to ever restore Israel back to a covential relationship, to Himself. Afterwards, He would include the Gentiles in this covenantal relationship. And so all Israel, both Jew and Gentile, would be saved.
So you see.. sin is defined as the breaking of G’d’s law, but since no one except Yeshua, has ever been able to keep the law perfectly, no one could ever be save by the law. So both, old and new testament saints are saved by grace.

Though we should address the Throne of God with deep reverence, because we abide with the Holy Spirit through Christ, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Heb 4:16) Our sins are removed from us as far as the East is from the West. We who are His children need not fear God, but rather stand boldly before Him as His Sons and Daughters, knowing that He is our help. Just love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself, with all confidence in the truth, grace and fulfillment of the crucified Christ. As God loved His Son, He also loves those who believe in His Son as the fulfillment of all the scriptures…the Law, the Prophets, the Torah, and the Writings.
The fear that remains is for those who have rejected His Son and are perishing. He will use everything that God disapproves of to deceive those who are dying, those who refused to love the truth (Jesus) that would save them. 2 Thes 2:10
Obama is using the “social gospel” to sell his idea (certainly not original with him) that all faiths are one (one-world faith that is coming) in their good intent. But he could well be an atheist and say the same things. I used to argue with a man (on another Christian forum) who called himself a “christian atheist”. He said that he thought that Christian principles were a force for good in the world but that he personally was an atheist.
Satan always focuses on “doing righteous acts” rather than being made righteous by the Blood of the Lamb. The difference between the two is the difference between heaven and hell. Man does not have the wisdom, in himself, to make the determination on which actions are right in God’s sight. He tells us by His word and His Spirit which actions are truly righteous. Philippians 2:13 tells us that God gives His children the desire to obey Him and the ability to do that which is pleasing to Him. We can judge the real state of Obama’s faith by the “fruit” of that faith. Supporting abortion, gay marriage, etc. are not the marks of one who is truly of the faith.
The Bible tells us that, during the period of the Judges, “In those days, Israel had no king, so the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes.” (Judges 21:25) and the Apostle Paul reminds us that in the Last Days, there would be those having “a form of godliness but denying the power thereof” (2 Tim. 3:5) and advises staying away from such people. They bend and twist the truth in order to try to make an action palatable to Christians. I never thought I would see the day when “christian pastors” would perform a marriage between two homosexuals. How Obama could call himself a Christian and harmonize his pro-abortion agenda with the faith he claims he has I do not know. Satan is very clever in his ploys. The only way to avoid being confused by the slick arguments of some who claim to be Christians is to be well-versed in Scripture and be under the leadership of Christ through His Holy Spirit. These are perilous times.

Yes, the “social gospel” destroyed the Protestant mainline churches in the 20th century. Now, the social gospel has again raised its ugly head. Another of Satan’s attempts to destroy evangelicalism. From all appearances, it seems to be succeeding. The only part of evangelicalism that is resisting the incursions of the social gospel is the part that clings stubbornly to the word of God. He always has a remnant, praise Him! 🙂
The only good part of the recent political discourse is condensing all the precepts of the apostasy into an identifiable phrase, the ‘social gospel”. I am deeply troubled with many in our own Church who embrace abortion, Marxism, Obama’s election, which by proxy means gay marriage, financial carnage, the destruction of the Constitution, and eroding the Church and criminalizing evangelism, which all means greater intrusion of the government into everyone’s lives, poverty, social unrest with riots, and the advancement of global government.

It would appear that Satan is making great strides spreading his social gospel, but that is just an illusion. We know who is really in control. We also know that Satan will be granted this brief hour to persecute believers. Personally, I think that G’d is allowing this to happen so that we will be tested, and our faith will be refined by fire. (trials) Things are happening so fast,so I’ll probably be seeing you in camp. Keep praying the G’d might increase the size of the remnant.
I’m not particularly conspiracy-minded but I do believe that the RCC is behind much of the debasement of evangelicalism that we have seen over the last couple of decades. The Charismatic movement (and it can be demonstrated that there was a strong RCC hand in the movement) was responsible for moving evangelicalism toward a “Spirit-alone” doctrine among formerly Biblical churches. Evangelical seminaries also participated in the slide toward a non-Biblical posture. I attended an evangelical seminary back in the 90s and I was shocked and dismayed to see that some of the brightest of my seminarian classmates admitted to not even having read the entire New Testament, let alone the Old Testament. Francis Schaeffer spoke of this calamitous circumstance in his book, The Great Evangelical Disaster. He had lived through the destruction of orthodoxy that occurred in the great Protestant mainline churches during his time as a young Presbyterian pastor.
Schaeffer argues in the book (written shortly before his death in 1984) that the abysmal level of Biblical training in the evangelical churches were setting them up for the same disaster that overtook the mainline churches. There were two formidable movements that dismantled orthodoxy in those churches: the effects of “higher criticism” (undercutting Biblicism) and the impact of the “social gospel.” Schaeffer warned that the same thing would happen to evangelicalism because of the growing ignorance of the Bible among evangelicals.
