Islam, Rome and worship of sun, moon and the Heavenly hosts

Jesus did not say: “I am the sun of the World”.  Neither did he tell his students to replace the bread of the last supper with a round white wafer, and hail it like the sun.

The Pope hold up an image of the sun, and claim Jesus is in the center.

I have for the past Saturdays focused on misuse of the name of “Jesus”. The worst culprit is the Roman Catholic Church, who have adopted paganism, and tries to tell the World that the Bible does not condemn people who promotes such syncretism.

This Saturday, I will display some photo’s that exposes syncretism between pagan sun god worship, Islam, and Catholicism.

The most amazing picture, are Catholic priest carrying the Eucharist wafer in the center of a monstrance that is an exact copy of the Sun. This procession took place at the opening Mass of the 49th International Eucharistic Congress in Quebec City.

People do not have to use their imagination to understand this image.

CNS photo/James Baca, Denver Catholic Register)

When you see this kind of religious parades, The Vatican explanation of the Eucharist it almost funny:

You should not adore a round wafer the Vatican claim is the "body of Christ".

A papal website gives the following message: “Eucharistic Adoration is spending time with Jesus who is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament”.

I guess the “Catholic Jesus” is to be found in the center of the sun.

Rome is here the obvious copy cat of what is pagan images of the sun god, or “Helios” as he is called in Greek mythology.  On of these pagan sun god images of Helios can be found on mosaic in the Byzantine period Sepphoris synagogue in Northern Israel. Here four steeds is seen pulling the chariot bearing the sun god Helios.

Some of the oldest images of Sun god worship, is found in Egypt. This image is from the stele of Ur-Nammu of Ur (2112-2095 B.C.). The solar blaze is the sun-god, Shamash, placed within the crescent of the moon-goddess, Nanna.

Pagan Egyptian image in stone of worship of the sun and the moon.
Islamic image of sun and moon worship, on top of a Mosque.

The differences between worship and symbolism within Islam and the Roman Catholic faith is only marginal.

  1. You know, there is a video out there by Walter Veith. Now he is Seventh Day Adventist so just a heads up. Anyway, it discusses the similarities in symbolism, the adoration of Mary, the rosary and prayer beads and all that stuff. He does say when he’s speculating. Anyway, the pictures and train of thought in this video makes sense. People have called it all nonsense…I don’t know what to make of it, but it’s definitely an interesting video. The link is at the bottom of the post.

    Have a great day!

    1. Dear Kitty.

A lot of the doctrines of the Seventh Day Adventists (SDA) are inline with the Bible, and similar to Evangelical Christianity. The SDA sect do believe the Pope is an antichrist, because he among many things changed the Biblical Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday. I object to both of them. The Biblical Sabbath starts at sun down on Friday.

Another doctrine of the SDA that separates them from Evangelical Christianity, is “soul sleep”. Both Heaven and Hell is as good as inhabited, and all the souls are waiting for the Last day of Judgment. This is very close to the RCC teachings of purgatory.

The SDA are not evangelicals, that preach eternal life today, surely of salvation, and that Jesus has already taken our punishment and the judgment we deserve.

You can not say you are saved, if you are not sure about salvation. If your soul are going to sleep and face judgment, than judgment day for believers was not 2.000 years ago. This SDA doctrine makes Jesus atoning sacrifice meaningless. The judgment that matters for the SDA, is the Judgment on the last day.

      1. The SDA are right about the state of the dead. The bible says the dead sleep in their graves until the judgement day, awaiting judgement. Nobody has gone to heaven yet except Jesus, and maybe a couple prophets that were taken up alive. But since God sees all from beginning to end, according to fate everyone was judged at the foundation of the earth before any person or thing was even created. So it’s as sensible to say the dead sleep and await judgement as it is to say everything God has planned must take place in reality.

      2. Dear Ed.

Thanks for this comment. This explains a lot of our disagreements. Why did you not say you are from the SDA-camp?

      3. Dear Ed.

Only Jesus has gone into Heaven. He can come and go, as He wish. But Elijah ascended into Heaven in a rapture. Do you feel He is pretty alone up there?

if He is not alone, than who are the others?

You say the dead are sleeping in their grave. Do you feel the souls are still left in the grave yards?

That will explains the ghosts all the RCC and SDA’s feels are there, among the grave stones.

      4. I’m not with any camp, truth only. It’s very biblical that the vast majority of dead sleep in their graves. “The dead have no part with the living, they hear nothing, they see nothing…” Jesus has a part with the living. There are already plenty of angels in heaven that nobody is alone in heaven.
Walter Veith has very interesting points to make, very interesting lectures. Michael Schiefler’s Bible light is another good one, particularly for defining symbolic meanings of various words, like water, trees, grass etc. Ellen White I had to put down because she is too much like the occultic writer Blavotsky but in a different direction. As above, so below..they will lead you in any direction away from the truth.
The best indication that you understand is finding hidden meanings, Revelations somewhere somewhere; “To him who overcommeth i will give you that manna that is hid.”

      5. Dear Ed.

That you are not with any camp, is both good and bad. Good that you are not with the SDA.

When Jesus gives us the Holy Spirit, our soul comes alive and get destined for eternity. The Bible says we who believe shall not face another judgment, but have already crossed over from death to life.

        John 5:24.

“I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

Why would Jesus put His own spirit back to sleep?

Has he removed His Holy Spirit, to find out if He took the wrong decision, and will judge us one more time?

Here we need Hebrew wisdom. Those who sleep in the dust of the Earth, are in Sheol (the tomb of silence). They will only be there for three days. From there the souls will be gathered, and depart for its final destiny. So the people who will face judgment on the last day of Judgment, are people who have just passed away. They will come up from the grave (tomb) and face Judgment.

This is why Abraham was buried. There was no need to bury neither Enoch, nor Elijah

        Genesis 5:24
Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

It is therefore true that all Christians that will not experience a direct rapture will have to spend a few days in Sheol. Just like Jesus. Than He will come, and we will be resurrected. During the thousands of years, millions of souls have already been resurrected, and departed for their final destination in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Keep in mind that Sheol has both a physical and a spiritual realm. Jonah thought that the belly of the fish was going to become His tomb of silence (Sheol). People who have been killed in an accident , and their body burned in fire, from where will their body resurrect on the last day of Judgment?

      6. Hello Ivar,

What you say here is explained excellently: “You can not say you are saved, if you are not sure about salvation. If your soul are going to sleep and face judgment, than judgment day for believers was not 2.000 years ago. This SDA doctrine makes Jesus atoning sacrifice meaningless. The judgment that matters for the SDA, is the Judgment on the last day.”

Jesus says the Spirit gives birth to spirit.(See John 3:6)

If your spirit is given life by the Spirit of God, then why don’t you believe in the actual life of the spirit being conscious? How can you deny, or miss that good news from Jesus?

After we physically die, our spirits are conscious, and not just asleep. We will be able to stand and talk…

Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus. (Matthew 17:3)

We will also be able to see and rejoice…
Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.” (John 8:56)

Because sin came into the world…we die physically, and our spirits were separated from God. Through Jesus we are reconcilled to God. When we die our spirits can go to Heaven to be with Jesus. The Bible tells us of Heaven and of Hades.

        Please read Hebrews 12:22-28…

22But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect,

Did you see that? When we come to God through Jesus…we come to the HEAVENLY Jersusalem, were thousand upons thousands of angels are, to the Church of the Firstborn. Jesus is the first born, and we are part of the Church. The passage also says we come “to the spirits of righteous men made perfect.” Where does the passage say the “spirits of righteous men” are? It says the spirits of righteous men are in heaven!

Don’t give up believing on a beautiful, life-saving truth.

John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

      7. Why does he say quote-ish, Many will come to me in that day saying haven’t we done many wonderful works in your name, casting out demons and whatnot. He says be gone from me I know you not.
So it does not indicate that everyone is saved although he does have the power to forgive everyone. Seems to me he gets to pick and choose his friends and enemies. Also rewards are different depending on things.
Judgement is on the last day, that’s why they call it judgement day.

How do you know your fate before it happens? You don’t. You can’t be sure what your fate is until it happens, although it is already written. Time the revelator…

      8. Yeah even SDA members accuse the SDA of becoming corrupt particularly at the top. Some blame Jesuit infiltration.
Well what does Jesus mean by believe in him? Satan himself believes in God and knows who Jesus is. He means that you believe everything he says is true, that you hear his meaning and not only what you want to hear.

      9. Dear Ed.

If I tell you to believe in me, what do you do?

I guess you will start to take my messages at face value?

And when I tell you to do good to others, and stop making idols, you will not believe in my message if you do otherwise.

This is what Satan (did) do, and tells all of us to do.

      10. Ed,
        You said:
“Why does he say quote-ish, Many will come to me in that day saying haven’t we done many wonderful works in your name, casting out demons and whatnot. He says be gone from me I know you not.
So it does not indicate that everyone is saved although he does have the power to forgive everyone. Seems to me he gets to pick and choose his friends and enemies.”

Do you know why Jesus said not everyone who says Lord, Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven? They don’t get to enter the kingdom of heaven, even though these people prophesied, cast out demons, and performed many miracles in Jesus’ name. Well, Jesus said they were evildoers. They must of did a lot of bad too, even though they did do some good in the name of Jesus. Maybe these people were adulterers, or thieves. Maybe these people did some bad things and weren’t sorry about it.
We have to believe AND obey Jesus.
Imagine everything Paul went through as an Apostle…beatings, jail, etc. And Paul did many miracles in Jesus’ name. Now read here what even the Apostle Paul says he has to do so he doesn’t lose his prize while he helps others gain salvation….

        1 Corinthians 9
24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air. 27No, I beat my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize. [end of scripture]

We have to work out our salvation. Jesus loves us, and we have to love Jesus too. We show Jesus our love for him when we obey (see John 14:15).

So we keep growing in the Lord and doing better and better. And if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Matthew 7:21″Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

      11. Paul there in your quote seems to realize that his prize is not 100% secure. He does not seem to indicate that he believes he is “sealed” and incapable of doing wrong, instead, after he preaches to others he is critical of himself too.

I think it’s a terrible mistake to think of oneself as forgiven and sealed, as bad as thinking a priest, catholic or otherwise has forgiven your sins.

      12. Dear Ed.

That we are sealed, does not mean we will not make more mistakes. We are sealed for eternal life. Jesus has already paid for our sins, and taken the judgment we deserve.

The blood of Jesus is our only justification. He is our righteousness. What He has done is enough. Nothing more to be added.

That we are justified by faith in Jesus alone, do not mean we can sit on our butt and do nothing. We need to he Holy. In the process of holiness, we will surely make mistakes, without having to question our salvation.

This is the essence of what Paul is teaching, and the very two core Apostolic doctrines of Evangelical Christianity. Justification by faith alone, and sanctification by holy behavior.

        Can we loose our salvation?

The Bible says yes. People shall give up their faith in Him in the last days.

      13. Ed you said: “So it does not indicate that everyone is saved although he does have the power to forgive everyone. Seems to me he gets to pick and choose his friends and enemies.”

Correct, me if you meant this another context, but Jesus Christ does not “pick and choose his friends and enemies.”

Matthew 25 says: “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Matthew 25 also says: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Further down more it says: Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. (End of Bible quote.)

This parable is Christ seperating the believers from non belivers. It is not Christ who “picks and chooses.” It is we who choose to serve Christ or not.

      14. Ed,
        You said:
“Paul there in your quote seems to realize that his prize is not 100% secure. He does not seem to indicate that he believes he is “sealed” and incapable of doing wrong, instead, after he preaches to others he is critical of himself too.
I think it’s a terrible mistake to think of oneself as forgiven and sealed, as bad as thinking a priest, catholic or otherwise has forgiven your sins.”

What? You don’t know if you can stop sinning and start obeying? Of course you can stop sinning. What blessing when we start obeying.
You think you can’t know for sure you are forgiven when you ask God to forgive you through Jesus? You should stop doubting. We can’t please God without faith. And one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. (See scriptures Hebrew 11:6 and James 1:6)
It sounds like you don’t know how much Jesus loves you.
        Read this beautiful scripture…

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
        Hebrews 7:25

    2. Yes I have seen the Vieth videos. Good stuff outside the Sabbath only stuff. His collection of ancient mystery schools documentaries has ALL societies going back to Rome. I agree. Also good is the William Cooper mystery schools studies. Here:
He too says all secret societies comes back
to the Vatican, the Papcy and Rome.

  2. Hi Ivar,

Thanks for mentioning the facts about the SDA..I didn’t know that. I knew they were off because of believing in the private relation of a woman (can’t remember off hand) that was a little nutty.

    1. Dear Sue.

The lady you have heard about is Ellen White. She is considered a great prophet within the SDA.

The problem is that she was caught in giving a false prophecy of the physical return of Jesus at at conference of believers in 1856. She said that some of the great men present, would be there alive on Earth on the day of the Lord’s return. In 1910, the last of these men had passed away.

      1. I am a Seventh day Adventist
I would like you to give some ref. Ellen White wrote extensively on the second coming of our Lord. I have read many of her books and I know what her views are in regards to the Lords coming. I am challenging you to provide proof of this claim you made. I am waiting for your proof. I believe that truth can stand inspection.

      2. Dear Mark.

        Shalom, and love in Jesus.

I feel we should focus on doctrinal differences. To claim Saturday as the Sabbath, is equally wrong as the Roman Catholic claim about Sunday replacing this Biblical event. The true Sabbath starts at sunset on Friday evenings. And the celebration is not related to salvation.

Next: Soul sleep. The souls are not sleeping, and do not awaits resurrection at the the final judgment. The day of judgment was 2.000 years ago, when Jesus the Messiah died on the cross in Jerusalem. All who have accepted His Lordship, have already passed over from death to life. Like Moses and Elijah, who appeared together with Jesus at the transfiguration.

All true followers of Jesus is alive today. Eternity with Him has already begun. All of us will spend some few days in Sheol (grave) before Jesus takes us to Heaven. If we are not raptured.

      3. Interesting how you regard this one statement as the whole argument of your proof. Do you even know what happened after that? Do you also know that almost all of God’s prophecies are conditional? Even the apostles believed that Jesus would come in their own time.

Do you know what happened in our church in 1888 how they rejected the message God has sent to His people? There is so many lies about EG White. Have you ever wondered why there are so many websites spewing lies and twisted words about her and all these sites have so much hate in them, it can be felt. I was under the impression that you are supposed to have love when reaching out to the “lost.”

You have probably read this from one of these hateful websites. Have you ever studies her books for yourself? Have you even asked God if there is a chance that you might be wrong? Probably not…

    2. Little nutty? Have you guys a clue what you are talking about. What I’ve learned from EG White has brought me so much closer to God, saved me from terrible sins. I’ve studies as a reformed pastor for 6 years and never has anything freed me so much as what I’ve read from her.

You are judging from hearsay. The SDA is now the only official church that still say the Pope is the anti-Christ and yes maybe one day that might change as well. All other churches have become part of the ecumenical movement, seeking to unite with the sun god of Rome.

Yes I do no longer regard myself an Evangelical because Evangelicalism has fallen to Rome. Evangelicalism also teach that faith can exist without obedience. That is not what the Bible teaches, especially James.

Do you guys even know that soul sleep was taught by most protetants? Even Martin Luther used it to fight saint worship, yet now we are shown to be the sect that believes it.

Then you you compare EG White with Blavatsky. Are you even serious? Have you read her writings? I regard myself a serious student, yet have I never found anything the EG White writes that is against the Bible. You want to believe in an immortal soul? That teaching comes from the Greeks and was sanctioned by the Pope. Yet the Bible teaches that only God is immortal. But maybe people believe this rubbish because they are not open to Go’s spirit and do not read the Bible. And no, I do not need EG White to proove anything of this kind, it all is in the Bible. Even Jesus prooved it when he told Maria not to touch Him since he has not gone to His Father yet.

I also was very against EG White then I decided to read her without prejudice. Try it…

    1. Read this against the rest of the whole Bible please. Please do a better study of this topic. When you die you know nothing, when you wake-up, you will (hopefully) be with God. You will not notice any time has gone past.

  3. How you compare the Eucharist with Islamic symbolism……that is the most stupid reason or logic?!?!? You really need to know your english terms to the point detail and understanding before posting some false and unscholarly explaintation!

Suppose a man walks into the room dressed in a disguise. Despite the disguise, you recognize him to be Jesus Christ. Would it be idolatrous to worship this man as God once you recognized him to be Jesus Christ? No, because you are worshipping Jesus, who is God. In a similar manner, the Eucharist really is Jesus present under the “disguise” of bread and wine. Just as it would not be idolatrous to worship Jesus if he were disguised by a costume, so it is not idolatrous to worship him under the “disguise” of Communion. can you explain this??? Can you explain this?????

Protestant attacks on the Catholic Church often focus on the Eucharist. This demonstrates that opponents of the Church—mainly Evangelicals and Fundamentalists—recognize one of Catholicism’s core doctrines. What’s more, the attacks show that Fundamentalists are not always literalists. This is seen in their interpretation of the key biblical passage, chapter six of John’s Gospel, in which Christ speaks about the sacrament that will be instituted at the Last Supper. This tract examines the last half of that chapter.

    Again and Again!!!!

Jesus first repeated what he said, then summarized: “‘I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh.’ The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, ‘How can this man give us his flesh to eat?’” (John 6:51–52).

His listeners were stupefied because now they understood Jesus literally—and correctly and not symbolic! He again repeated his words, but with even greater emphasis, and introduced the statement about drinking his blood: “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him” (John 6:53–56).

Even the Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians: “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?” (1 Cor. 10:16). So when we receive Communion, we actually participate in the body and blood of Christ, not just eat symbols of them. Paul also said, “Therefore whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. . . . For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself” (1 Cor. 11:27, 29). “To answer for the body and blood” of someone meant to be guilty of a crime as serious as homicide. How could eating mere bread and wine “unworthily” be so serious? Paul’s comment makes sense only if the bread and wine became the real body and blood of Christ.

    1. Dear Henry.

      You wrote:

No, because you are worshipping Jesus, who is God. In a similar manner, the Eucharist really is Jesus present under the “disguise” of bread and wine.

      My comment:

Jesus is physically in heaven, where He sits at the right hand of Father God. He is not going to return physically inside any Church, before His physical second coming. The Holy Spirit is present on Earth. He is here in place of Jesus. God the Holy Spirit reigns in the hearts of all who Obey the World of God. God the Holy Spirit always honors Jesus the Messiah.

The Catholic doctrine of “Jesus” being physically present on the altar in Roman Catholic Church is blunt and regrettable blasphemy. We who participate in the Lord’s supper do this in MEMORY of Him. We are not cannibals. We do not eat Him, nor do we drink physical blood.

The “Jesus” presented in Catholic Churches is a copy cat. He is an invention from the bottomless pit. If you want to live, reject the Vatican inspired falsehood. Repent or perish.

  4. You really think that Jesus who is God cannot be in many places once or be in the appearance of bread or wine as body and blood? Give me a break! God is NOT limited by our inability to fully comprehend Him. He is not just a bigger version of us. If He can create us out of nothing, then to make His body present in more than one place at the same time has got to be a cinch for Him. Since He created the rules of physics, He can stretch them or do anything He wants with them—without explaining it to skeptical fundamental Protestant. Indeed Jesus’ body is different from ours now because it is a resurrected, which the glorified body!

The Eucharist is a miracle—His greatest miracle, according to Thomas Aquinas. Many disciples left Him over it. Only those who loved Him enough to trust with what they didn’t understand were able to be benefit from it. This is still the case!

    1. Dear Henry.

      You wrote:

      My comment:

You are a mocker. I do not care what you say, not what the Pope say. I care about what the Bible say. Even if the Vatican says that Jesus is found inside a banana, I know that many Catholics will not question the Papacy. So why not inside a round wafer, formed like the Sun “god”, a wafer that rest on the crescent moon.

      Matthew 24:26
“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.

You are a man of Israel, deceived by the Pope:

Let me ask you a question, about the magic of the Catholic priests:

When the “Jesus bread” are put inside the inner room, inside the Tabernakel behind the alter, is Jesus still there in the round wafer? Will He be in this inner room till next Sunday?

If not: When did He leave?

And if He did not leave, what was he doing inside there the whole week?

    2. Your problem Henry is either you do not
know what your religious system’s official
Doctrine is or you assume that we don’t.
So I will tell you. God the father is omnipresent. So was Jesus AFTER his
resurrection when he appeared to 500 at one time. But the Council of Nicea stated
that the Jesus of the Eucharist is the exact
same as the Jesus that was nailed to the
cross. Man Jesus never displayed onmi
Presence, prior to being sacrificed… And this is the exact same man/Christ that the RCC claims is in the wafer. So no you can’t argue one form of Christ the man sacrificial
Jesus, with the onmipresence of the resurrected Jesus… The RCC states the wafer Jesus IS the pre- sacrifice NON-OMNIPRESENT Jesus. Can’t have it both ways. Also your pagan based religious system is making a claim that would defy Gods word and make Him out to be a liar.

  5. Oh for goodness sakes! YES he is in the Tabernacle and never changed. The tabernacle is a liturgical furnishing used to house the Eucharist outside of Mass. This provides a location where the Eucharist can be kept for the adoration of the faithful and for later use (e.g., distribution to the sick).

It also helps prevent the profanation of the Eucharist. Thus Canon Law requires, “The tabernacle in which the Eucharist is regularly reserved is to be immovable, made of solid or opaque material, and locked so that the danger of profanation may be entirely avoided” (CIC 938 §3).

The word tabernacle means “dwelling place.” Any place someone dwells is a tabernacle. The term is also sometimes used for a temporary dwelling place. Thus the tent-like sanctuary that the Jews used before the Temple was built was called the Tabernacle, because God dwelt there. Similarly, for the feast of Sukkot the Hebrews erected temporary shelters to live in for the festival, which is often called “the feast of tabernacles” or “the feast of booths” as a result.

The tabernacle in Church is so named because it is a place where Christ dwells in the Eucharist.

    1. Dear Henry.

Shalom, and love in Jesus who sits on His throne in Heaven.

      My reply:

Please leave this occult “Jesus”, and run for your life. If you want to live. This kind of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. You have so fare acted in ignorance. Now you have been told the truth.

The Holy Spirit is the representative of Jesus on Earth. Not the round wafer inside the Tabernacle in every Roman Catholic Church. The doctrines of the Vatican will not bring anyone to faith in Jesus of the Bible.

The RCC and its religion will bring you towards the gates of Hell. If not repented for, you will face stern judgment.

    you said,
    “Can we lose our salvation?”
    “The Bible says yes”
I follow and like your blog but was surprised you believe one can lose their salvation. I believe the Bible teaches, that since Jesus did the saving, He promises no one can snatch us from him, and that is the peace we have …that we are His, no matter how much we stumble til he comes back. Are you saying otherwise? I would like you to clarify what or how you think someone can lose their salvation.

    1. Jennifer,

I know many people who say they are saved, but leave the church to do sinful, horrendous things. This begs the question were they saved to begin with? Only God knows. Have they lost their salvation? If they were saved to begin with, and do these things, then yes they have lost their salvation, and must repent again.

Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.

  7. Run from what?? The Truth!?!?

Read this carefully from Sacred Scripture!

    Gospel of Matthew 26:26-27
26 And while they were at supper, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and broke: and gave to his disciples, and said: Take ye, and eat. This is my body.

27 And taking the chalice, he gave thanks, and gave to them, saying: Drink ye all of this.

    Gospel of Mark 14:22-23
22 And while they were eating, Jesus took bread; and blessing, broke, and gave to them, and said: Take ye. This is my body.

23 And having taken the chalice, giving thanks, he gave it to them. And they all drank of it.

    Gospel of Luke 22:17-20
17 And having taken the chalice, he gave thanks, and said: Take, and divide it among you:

18 For I say to you, that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, till the kingdom of God come.

19 And taking bread, he gave thanks, and brake; and gave to them, saying: This is my body, which is given for you. Do this for a commemoration of me.

20 In like manner the chalice also, after he had supped, saying: This is the chalice, the new testament in my blood, which shall be shed for you.

The Holy Eucharist, which Jesus is literally and wholly present—body and blood, soul and divinity—under the appearances of bread and wine. Evangelicals and Fundamentalists frequently attack this doctrine as “unbiblical,” but the Bible is forthright in declaring it (cf. 1 Cor. 10:16–17, 11:23–29; and, most forcefully, John 6:32–71).

The early Church Fathers interpreted these passages literally. In summarizing the early Fathers’ teachings on Christ’s Real Presence, renowned Protestant historian of the early Church J. N. D. Kelly, writes: “Eucharistic teaching, it should be understood at the outset, was in general unquestioningly realist, i.e., the consecrated bread and wine were taken to be, and were treated and designated as, the Savior’s body and blood” (Early Christian Doctrines, 440).

From the Church’s early days, the Fathers referred to Christ’s presence in the Eucharist. Kelly writes: “Ignatius roundly declares that . . . [t]he bread is the flesh of Jesus, the cup his blood. Clearly he intends this realism to be taken strictly, for he makes it the basis of his argument against the Docetists’ denial of the reality of Christ’s body. . . . Irenaeus teaches that the bread and wine are really the Lord’s body and blood. His witness is, indeed, all the more impressive because he produces it quite incidentally while refuting the Gnostic and Docetic rejection of the Lord’s real humanity” (ibid., 197–98).

The Jews knew that He was speaking literally. Jn 6:52 “How can this man give us his Flesh to eat?” On other occasions when our Lord spoke of Himself as a Jn 10:9 “door” or a Jn 15:1 “vine,” nobody said, “How can this man be made of wood?” or “How can this man be a plant?” They recognized these as metaphors. But when Jesus insisted, Jn 6:53 “Unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of man and drink His Blood, you have no life in you; he who eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life.” The Jews who heard this said, Jn 6:60 “This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?” They remembered God’s command to Noah and all mankind, Gn 9:4 “Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.” God spoke more forcefully to His chosen people. Lv 17:10 “I will set my face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.” It was only after Christ’s redemptive sacrifice and the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment that the Apostles saw the full meaning of our Father’s next words. Lv 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it for you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement, by reason of the life.” In the Old Covenant our Father in heaven had commanded His children not to eat the blood of animals because we are not to participate in the life of animals. Animals, having no immortal souls, are lower than man in the order of created nature. However, in the New and Everlasting Covenant we consume the Blood of Christ to participate in Christ’s eternal life.

    1. Dear Henry

I know it is pointless to explain this to Roman Catholics. You simply do not want to accept the truth.

      John 6:63
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.

Jesus did not celebrate “Ishtar”, a pagan festival. The Pope renamed this festival “Easter”. Jesus the Messiah celebrated “passover”. In fact, it was a meal.

When your people, the Jews, broke the passover bread, they did not do this because they were told God was in the bread. Neither did they drink physical blood, a sin according to the Law of Moses. The Jews ate the passover, lamb, bread and wine, in remembrance of the passover in Egypt.

In a similar manner, Jesus did not bite off a piece of His flesh, and commanded the students to eat “his flesh”. Neither did anyone tap physical blood out of his body. Jesus had not even shed the blood of the new covenant when He ate the last supper. The new covenant blood was shed on the cross, once and for all. Not to be consumed by anyone.

To do some thing in remembrance of anyone, is to remember something that was, or has happened in the past. A doctrine based on physical presence of Jesus on the altar of Roman Catholic Churches is pure non sense. Jesus is in Heaven, is alive and kicking, and doing quite well.

    2. Henry it doesn’t take long for a Catholic
to leave the truth of the Holy
Bible for some other source. You said, From the Churches early days the fathers…..Most “founding fathers” many
Early church leaders have actually been proven to be heretics by the RCC. Different Catholics believe different leaders to the false… This is what you guys run into when you leave the safe confines if the Holy Bible. So much work to carry your Pope’s
water, defend the indefensible… Stretch the scriptures twist the truth and drudge up ancient gay sects of monastic mystics to help back up your claims.

  8. And I know its sometimes pointless to explain a Protestant about what is truth and what is really false understanding!!

Although the gospels aren’t super clear, i think there is a certain implication that He did.
Mark says ‘they all drank from’ the cup (14:23, emphasis mine). in Luke 22:15-16, J tells the diciples how eargerly He has looked forward to eating this Passover with them. since He was about to become the perfect pascal lamb, to my mind, that seem’s a pretty good indication that He ate Himself at that last Passover.
also, knowing how many graces are available to us human within the Eucharist, i’m inclined to think He’d have taken advantage of them. Your still missing the point that Jesus is God, and his physical being is not limit to his divine being!!!

Ok no where does the Catholic Church or the Eastern Orthodox Church teach that Christ dies again in every Mass. In one sense it can be said but in the other sense it cannot whatsoever. That one sense, in which it can be said, is that His death that took place 2000 years ago is now the same moment in the consecration of the Eucharist. We Catholics eat and partake of His Glorified Risen Body by reason of concomintancy. In no way is this a new death of Christ because like you said and Hebrews says He can never die again or offer a new one again. Instead the Church always offers the same.

The word for “remembrance” used here is “anamnesis.” It says that the Old sacrifices served as a “anamnesis” for sins. Anamnesis is making a past present and remembering a past event!! Because they could never put away sin. They had no power to completely forgive sin. Notice it says that only Christ’s Sacrifice had the power to put away sin, completely forgive sin. In other words the Old sacrifices could not do the work(get the job done) so they had to offer a new sacrifice every year. Christ’s Sacrifice, offered once to the Father, got the job done, and there is no need for Him to do it again(come back to Earth, die, and re-enter the Holy of Holies). But Christ said to “Do this in ‘anamnesis’ of me,” as in, what I believe as the Old offered sacrifice in “anamnesis” of sin, the New offers Sacrifice in “anamnesis” of putting away sin. I think this is what Hewbrews 10 is stating. So I asked if anyone else can see this also, or caught onto it too?

  9. Too many people here are idiots. The pagan ottoman symbol is not of ISLAM, it is of PAGAN Turks. They symbol is mistaken to be Islamic. Read this verse from the Quran and shut it.

And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not bow down (prostrate) to the sun nor to the moon, but only bow down (prostrate) to “Allah” Who created them, if you (really) worship Him.” [Quran 41:37]

  10. First the savior is not Jesus. The savior was a Hebrew and his name is Yeshua which means salvation. The angel came to Mary and said you will bear a son and call him Salvation for he will save the world. Jesus would not translate into anything in Hebrew and closer to the horse in Spanish. Having said that, Yeshua our savior came to save us by paying our blood sin sacrifice for us and put his spirit within us which causes us to walk in his Torah (commandments). That is the new covenant.
As for the holy wafer, well that is a totally twisted notion. Yeshua was celebrating passover, not the last supper communion and told us to continue to celebrate passover in remembrance of him. Why because he is our passover lamb, our sacrificial lamb. The notion of actually eating and consuming the savior every week like some cannibal is pagan idolatry. You are warned repeatedly in scripture not to partake in any pagan rituals. That includes by the way all the Christian holidays that the catholic church adopted. Why they did this was to get the pagans to accept the “new religion” and combine their rituals and give them new meanings. You can not sit at the table of YHWH and the table of demons.
Please don’t pluck out phrases and try to adopt them to them to some man made religion. Yeshua and all the disciples were Jew’s Hebrew. They did not develop some new religion here. He came and taught us to walk as walked. Man with his sinful nature can not obey the father except that he sent Yeshua our savior to put his spirit within us and give us a love for his Torah that we could walk in his statutes. That is the new covenant.

    1. People who speak english refer to the Lord as Jesus. Just as the portuguese and the spa nish. Are wrong because YOU are right? Get off your pedestal and humble yourself.

      My reply.

Thanks a lot. Such short messages will motivate me to keep on blogging. May Jesus bless you and keep you safe from deception.

  11. It is a corruption of what Catholics believe to suggest that we worship the sun. We worship the creation of God in its entirety, because it is of God. We do not worship any single part of creation.

Only God in the Three Persons is worthy of worship.

  12. Jesus did not say: “I am the sun of the World” BUT “he” he did say that he is the light of the world. Will you forever dabble in the words of the Bible. God and Satan is one and the same thing. One Source from which everything comes. Isaiah 45:7 says, I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create evil, I the Lord do all these things. Isn’t the Sun that does all that. If the Pope shows you the symbolism of the Bible and you compare that with the literal words of your Scripture and find it that it does not match, doesn’t that mean that you do not understand anything. Why don’t you read the words of the wise of the past, start with Pythagoras, and see what they “believed.” You can take that as Gospel.

  13. I sometimes think people make shocking or controversial statements for attention….
But blasphemers will end up in Hell, unless they humble themselves, repent and are saved by God
All of us are sinners, self righteous religious ones are usually the worst
Jesus Christ is The One who died and shed blood to redeem us from our sins, there is no other way.
satan is a liar and the father of all lies,
There is no truth in him.
He came here (after being expelled from heaven) to steal, kill and destroy, Yeshua (Jesus) has come that we might have life and life more abundantly.
He (satan, the serpent, the devil) prowls LIKE a roaring lion, seeking to devour who he may
He always has and always will be merciless in his attempt to destroy Godly righteousness, to slander, defame, accuse the people of God
    Lastly (regarding ancient wisdom)
“see to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy that depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ…”

  14. When Moses went up to pharaohs shrine his staff turned into a serpent. Pharaoh’s magicians managed a couterfeit copy. Then Moses’s “serpent” consumed the magician’s serpents…
satan prowls “like” a roaring lion, by lies and decption he deludes people he has invincible power. But never forget, Jesus Christ IS ACTUALLY The lion of the tribe of judah….
    Revlations 5:5
“And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof”.
