Benetton: Gay Pope kisses Al-Azhar’s grand sheikh

Following outcry by Vatican officials, Benetton pulls ad showing Catholic pope in amorous embrace with Al-Azhar’s grand sheikh.

A grand kiss for the Sheikh. Homosexual offenders do burn with lust for each other.

Italian clothing manufacturer Benetton has withdrawn an advertisement depicting Catholic Pope Benedict XVI kissing Egypt’s Al-Azhar Grand Sheikh Ahmed El-Tayeb after the doctored photo caused an outcry among Vatican officials.
The photo montage was initially released by Benetton as part of its “Unhate Project,” which was launched on Wednesday and featured different versions of political adversaries passionately kissing one another on the lips.

Source: Multiple media.

My comment:

Benetton have touched a tabu in the Roman Catholic Church. All Catholics knows that multitudes of their priests are homosexual offenders. But living in spiritual bondage to the Papacy, few of them is capable of doing anything about it.

Pope John Paul II kisses the Koran.

If the Italian textile major wants to print a true picture of a kissing Pope, they can chose John Paul II kissing the Koran.

The Vatican acknowledge that the Muslims are a “Holy people”, and that the Koran is a “Holy book”. If you are gay and kiss the Koran, you will obviously not resist kissing an Imam. If there was a golden opportunity.

Romans 1:25-27
They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.

Men who sleep with men, or women who lust after the same sex, are homosexual offenders. If they do not repent, they will spend eternity out of bed, but inside the eternal flames of Hell.

  1. Yuck. That is one image I’d rather not have in my head. Benetton is now being sued by the Vatican.

Can’t you just picture everyone at the g-20 holding hands wearing a Benneton sweater, singing “We are the world, we are the children”… LOL

    1. Dear Sue.

      Sabbath Shalom.

Benetton have done this before. Marketing activism. They knew what they were doing, and took a calculated risk. This is high profiled capitalism, to boost sales and get maximum media attention.

I would like to see the Pope being summoned by Court, and testify that he has never kissed an Iman. What about kissing other priests?

Benetton know that the Vatican can not take this matter to court. The Vatican wants an assurance, that the textile major will not “defame ” the Papacy again.

For the papacy, such ads are also convenient. The Pope us not exactly persecuted. The add can be used by the Vatican, to brand the “victimized Pope”, who suffer for the peace of the World.

    1. Dear Ronnie.

      Sabbath Shalom.

When an International textile major launch a campaign using a picture of the Pope deeply kissing an Imam, I feel we should pay attention.

Do you feel I should not have published this article?

      1. Your blog is about ‘exposing fake & falsehood’…so I think this image exposes it in ways perhaps words cannot. It is interesting, too, that this image came out soon after the Pope made comments that back in the 70’s pedophilia was not talked about & even regarded a sin?(which is so in-true)!!!

  2. Homesexuality is shamefully sinful & those who support it as human rights, no matter their education levels, are wrongly mistaken & in greater deception.
