Government supports Ariel with 227 new homes

Defense Minister Ehud Barak okays largest housing project in single settlement since establishment of the Netanyahu government.

Before the Jews returned to Zion and settled on the mountains of Ariel, there was not a single Arab living there.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak has approved the building of 277 apartments the West Bank settlement of Ariel, defying U.S. criticism of continued settlement construction.

Barak authorized the construction in Ariel, the core of the settlement bloc deepest inside the West Bank. One hundred of the apartments will house Israelis evacuated in 2005 from a Gaza Strip settlement.

My comment:

When the secular Israeli government told Jews to leave Gaza, they were promised new properties inside mainland Israel.

Since it was not easy to rehabilitate 8.000 Jews in a short notice, some of the refugees from Gaza were given shelters “temporarily” in  Ariel. They stayed in camping facilities.

Five years down the road, finally the Government acts. 100 new homes for the people who lost their properties in Kush Katif, is not one single house to little.

Just reflect on this:

If the Israeli government can not look after 8.000 people who they force out of Jewish properties, how will the government manage to take care of 300.000 Jewish refuges from Judea and Samria?

If the secular Israeli government if forced by the International community to to take such anti-Jewish action, this will become a total disaster for the Jewish homeland.

The Bible is very clear:

Genesis 28:13
There above it stood the LORD, and he said: “I am the LORD, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.

Hebrews 11:9
By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise.

The mountains of Zion belongs to the sons and daughters of Isaac.
