A United Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is a threat to an Islamic statehood.

This is the conclusion of European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton’s latest remarks.
Ashton rebukes Interior Minister Eli Yishai’s decision late Wednesday night to approve construction of 1,600 apartments in the northeast Jerusalem haredi neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo.
The building of houses for Jews in the Israeli capital, has infuriated the Palestinians and brought sharp condemnations from overseas.
At the beginning of next week, the Interior Ministry is expecting to give the final approval to two additional projects in east Jerusalem – 2,000 housing units in Givat Hamatos and 625 units in Pisgat Ze’ev, Yishai’s spokesman Roei Lachmanovich said.
European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton on Friday said she “regrets” hearing of Eli Yishai’s decision about the Ramat Shlomo construction, saying that such moves threaten the two-state solution.

My comment:
Can there not be a two-state-solution with Ramallah as the capital?
Absolutely not. Because Ramallah is not in Gaza.
Both Hamas, EU Aston and the PLO agree that East Jerusalem must be brought back under Islamic occupation. Even though such an occupation, would not bring a “two-state-solution”. It would only bring occupation.
As long as the Hamas holds on to their Islamic totalitarian powers in Gaza, there can at best be a three-state-solution.
Can there really be a people called “Palestinians” who will have to live in two different “Palestinians states”, both populated with Muslims who can not wait for the next chance to kill each other.
John 8:44
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
What an endless “Palestinian” road of lies, cheating and wickedness.

Amen!
Someone else had a great idea that would solve the problem, a one state solution, give the entire Middle East to Israel! They call it the One State Solution. I’m all for it!
What other country gets heat for planning to build in their own capitol? This is nuts.

Greetings.
Just a comment on the verse you chose.
Those were the words of Jesus when he was confronting the Jewish leaders of the day. He was telling them that they were of their father the devil, and that they wanted to carry out his desires. He told them that he (the devil was a murderer from the beginning not holding to the truth, for their is no truth in him, when he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. he said this about Jewish leaders who were obviously unbelieving leaders. Contextually this verse does not apply to anyone but the Jewish leaders of his day. I observe this a lot on your blog. you try to make a verse fit your story and often it does not have anything to do with your story. Just say these people are like the Jewish leaders that Jesus confronted in John 8 when he said they were of there father the devil and desired to do the things their father desired. Taking a verse out of context is not a good thing to do especially when contextually it does not apply
Have a great day
Dear Todd.
Shalom.
The devil is the father of all lies, regardless if you include the Jewish leaderships in the list of deceived people, or not. There are many who have made the devil their father.
