Former minister Ben-Eliezer: Israel headed for disaster

Former Labour minister warns of chaos, and urge Netanyahu to cut the defense budget. ‬‬

Benyamin Ben-Eliezer is turning pessimistic on the future of Israel.

Binyamin Ben-Eliezer ‪‪warns that the Palestnian UN bid will clash with housing crisis to create ‘chaos’.‬‬

‪‪The former minister urges Netanyahu to ‘take matters in hand’ by cutting defense budget, and transferring funds from settlements to housing within 1967 lines‬‬

Former Industry, Trade, and Labor Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer told Ynet in an interview Monday he fears Israel is headed towards the worst disaster since the establishment of the state.

He added that “the social protest is only beginning” and that it would get worse in September, when the Palestinians plan to appeal to the UN for statehood recognition.

The people in the streets today are Israel’s elite. This is the public that shoulders the burden of (IDF) service, labor, and taxes,” he said. “If tomorrow we have to fight, there is a link between this public and national strength. That is this is heading towards collapse

My comment:

That a former Labor Minister of Israel voices His concern, is understandable. The Israeli society is under pressure from the outside, and have to struggle with enemies from within.

The price of Zionism, is high military costs. The Government needs to spend money on arms. If the IDF is crippled, there will not be a need for lower housing prices in Israel. Because there will simply be no more Israel.

 Luke 21:23
How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.

Jesus the Messiah has not promised the Jewish homeland an easy going, as we approach the end of the age. He has told both Jews and gentiles that there will be great distress on Earth, just before His second coming. The solution is to surrender to Him, the author of life and the Messiah who has promised to save all who believe in Him. Amen.
