In the book of Job Satan appears, and enter into a conversation with God the Most High.

By using Job to test Satan, God of the Bible displayed who is the supreme commander in the Heavens above.
Eve did not stand the test. In the garden of Eden, Satan took the form of a serpent, and deceived her. God of the Bible has warned us that Satan will try to get you to worship him as «God», simply by making an idol, and claiming that a piece of stone and wood needs to be adored or venerated.
The Jewish Apostle Paul warned us, that Satan may also appear as an Angel of light.
2 Corinthians 11:14
«And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light».
When Satan does such deceptive moves, many people shout «Hallelujah» and «Praise Jesus». They do not realize that there has to be a gift of discernment in every Church, to be able to tell the difference between a miracle and sign performed by Lucifer or God Most high.
To create maximum havoc among Christians, and destroy Churches, Lucifer has to operate inside our fellowships. To be able to do that, Satan has to claim to be «Jesus». If he had not done so, no true Christian would have listen to any of his messages.
What would be a typical message from a counterfeit and false Jesus?
A false Jesus would come and promote sin as the truth, or call for acceptance of sin as permitted by the Word of God. Often we have heard messages like: «The Bible opens for different interpretations». Thats the beginning of a satanic deception, that will end up in a final approval and promotion of sin.
The true Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, warned us that there would come people in His name, claiming to be Him. Since they are not Him, they are some form of an anti-Christ.
Let me give you some examples:
«Jesus of Rome»:
He is a promoter of idols in form of wood and stone, and is in disagreement with God of the Bible in various issues. His followers are well known for claiming that the Bible can not be understood and followed as it is written.
«Jesus of Mecca»:
He is a mortal man, a good and learned prophet, who is dead and gone. His followers do not worship him, and do not believe He is a divine Son of Allah.
«Jesus of prosperity»:
He is a fleshy fellow, who feeds his sheep with money and prosperity. His followers are promoting a false gospel of health and wealth.
«Jesus of Jehova Witnesses»:
This copy-cat is not the Creator, but a created being. His followers do not worship Him as God
«Jesus of the Mormons»:
This is a Jesus who promotes two Bibles. The same Bible as the Christian Holy book, and one exclusive Mormon Bible with the final revelation from God Most high.
«Jesus of Hinduism»:
Many Hindus worship «Jesus». But only as one of an endless list of gods. This Jesus is good, and miracles and wonders takes place. But he is not the only way to Heaven.
You might say:
But I prayed to God, and He answered my prayers?
Well, and good. But how do you know that is was God Most High, and not Lucifer who entertained you?
Let me ask you some questions:
Who helped Pharaohs magicians to copy the miracles of Moses in Egypt?
Elijah challenged 600 false prophets of Baal. Who gave them all their false messages?
Would these false prophets have been with Baal, if he never answered any of their prayers?
Even Jesus warned us about false Messiahs to come, and false miracles and wonders to appear to deceive even the elect of God Most High.

«For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible».
Who feeds such false prophets?
Is it not the false Messiah who performs such miracles and wonders?
How to discern the difference?
Do like Paul:
Preach the divine God the Son crucified, focus on his death for our sins, and resurrection that brings eternal life. Demand fruit of repentance, and spot for the U-turn they have to take to avoid ending up in the lake of fire.
It will never be enough to listen to the gospel. You have to «do» the gospel. You have to walk on Earth as Jesus the Messiah did. Like the Jewish apostles Peter, Paul and John.
If you have received the Holy Spirit , you will never again challenge the Word of God. The Word has to understood the way it is has been divinely inspired, and written down. Word by Word. Start your new life with the Gospel according to the Apostles John, chapter 1.

Jesus said «I am the gate». I am fully aware of what He tries to say. He also said: «I am the bread of life». He surely do not want us to become cannibals, and try to eat His flesh. In the verse you are quoting, Jesus explains that His Words are the bread of life. He is not physically present in the Eucharist, like the Papal doctrine tries to teach his. We can only met Him in the Word, and accept Him as Master by obeying the Word as truth.

You have to pretty dull not to understand that the Jews was aware of the divine Messiah, before He had resurrected. The argument was not if Jesus was divine or not. The Jews argued over the issue if Jesus was the promised Messiah, the anointed One. Even the Angles who appeared to Jacob in the book of Genesis was considered divine, coming from the Holy presence of God, and returning back to God.
Jesus the Messiah has always been, and will alway be divine. Thats what why He said to the teachers of the Law: «Before Abraham, I am».

This is another falsification of history. Jesus did not call Him self a Rabbi. People was amazed about his knowledge of the scripture, and called him Rabbi. Not so strange. Jesus is the author of scripture.
Jesus did not go to school to learn the scripture. He IS the scripture. To the radical opposite, He entered the Temple at the age of 12, and taught the Rabbis and the teachers of the Law.

But I want to remind of the words in the beginning of the Bible: “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” (Gen 3:1). When debating with a catholic, a muslim, a mormon and so on, we should take heed of these important Words of God (“has God said”) to reveal the lies of Satan.

There are formal arguments for and against sola scriptura.
I’m getting old and I appeal to the intuitive arguments against SS.
The Catholic Church says its teaching is based on scripture, tradition, and magisterium.
Whatever else tradition (or Tradition) is, it includes how we understand scripture. THAT is the practical Tradition that the CC has.
Protestants have different understandings of the Bible, and that is their “tradition.” They claim that they don’t have tradition, but they do. That denial is their glaring mistake.
They say they don’t need the Church and its teaching authority. So, they have somebody in the place of the pope who has authority to teach. So, again, their denial is silly
EVERY Christian denomination has the Bible, tradition, and magisterium. Christianity Today admitted to the tradition part in an article, maybe 16 years ago.
Protestants dodge the real and essential question, which is the correct “tradition” (interpretation of scripture) and where is the correct teaching authority. Their formal arguments dissolve into their simply refusing to accept the CC.
Example. There are heresies that cropped up after apostilic and NT times, and it was the Church which opposed them. Scripture alone was not enough to refute these errors. It took a NEW LOOK at the scriptures by church leaders FOLLOWING THE HISTORIC TRADITIONS to oppose the new heresies.
The Church is also the living Body of Christ without which Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition would cease to exist. God declares that His Word shall never pass away, but perhaps the chief method by which He ensures the fulfillment of that prophecy is by the parallel fulfillment of the prophecy that the gates of Hell shall never prevail against the Church. Hell is the abode of sinners and against God, so this, among other things, means that the Church shall never die. And if the Church can neither die nor be destroyed, then this same One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church shall always be alive in the world to perpetuate the preaching of the Written Word of God (Scripture) and the teaching of the Spoken Word of God (Tradition), both of which flow from the very Heart of the Son, who is the Living Word of God (and thus also flow from the heart of the Church).

The reality is we should realize the the so called “Sacred Tradition” is a mechanism of Lucifer to codify and illicit Tradition over the very death and resurrection of Christ. I’m also a late comer in this debate so I’m not going to bother to argue but shall pose a few questions. It goes to all since you all keeping referencing to the “scriptures” as the “word of God”. My first question is where do the “scriptures” begin being the “word of God” and where does it end and start being the “tradition of men” or wasn’t that a referrence to the Oral Law and Rabbanical teachings? The second is would I be wrong in saying that after the Book of Deutoronomy every other book is either history of the state of Israel and its relationship with their God our God (Joshua, Ruth, Ezra, Judges, Chronicles Kings etc) or commentary therefore on the 5 books of Moses (The prophets, Proverbs etc)? Third question is when the apostles were referring to the “scriptures”in their epistles (letters to each other) weren’t they by any chance referring to the so called Jewish Tanak? And lastly can anybody please make me understand why didn’t the Messiah write anything at all? And by the way Ivar I like your reasoning taking nothing from the others of course. John 6:63 is not proof against the Eucharist.
The flesh is a term used in the time of Jesus that mean human desires and wants. There are many clear examples showing the true meaning of this verse. And showing that Jesus is NOT refering to His own flesh.

In John 6:63, Jesus uses the phrase “the flesh” instead of “my flesh” or “the flesh of the Son of Man” because he is not talking about his own body; he is referring to natural man.

2. The Law of Moses forbids all Jews from drinking physical blood.

Any man that calls someone other than their own birth father and God as “Father” is clearly not following the Jesus of the bible. This is the problem with Catholicism. They believe that the Pope has the ability to remove sin or forgive sin. The bible is very clear… “I am the way, the truth and the light, no man cometh to the Father (God) except through me.” To think that the Pope represents Christ on earth “The vicar of Christ” is purely satanic, demonic and blasphemous to the words of Jesus. Any catholic that seeks to change the words of the bible is adding or deleting the very words of the book! You hate the fact, that people can be saved without bowing down to the POPE because you deny the real Jesus!

My goodness what a madness. people go on stubborn in their hearts. First thing what we have to do is that we should be humanitarian. so that we can change something in and around us. That’s what JESUS did. Its not about remembering few quotations and just saying everywhere to see the people. As we we are first human being we also need to have the culture and traditions and at the same time prayer. It is hard to say that there are so many Protestant Brothers who terrify people by saying second coming of Jesus. lets do good things and people should feel to change their life by way of our model life.
I came across this aricle while searching google on how satan might pretend to act as jesus or god. I would like to start apologizing for my language. It might be bad since I am not a native english speaker. Anyway, there are so many different beliefs within christianity and where I live, in Sweden, a great deal of liberal beliefs. As I interpret the matter, the only way would be tot turn to the bible. But if so, how would I be certain that the bible holds the correct answer in todays life. After all, the bible was put together by people many years ago. Some prophesies were chosen to be included and others to be left out. I would be pleased if someone could help me find the answe to why i should trust the bible (assembled by men) instead of searching within myself, in conversation with god and with support of the bible. Todays life i so different from the life in the bible and if I were to follow all the restrictions in the bible (for instance food restictions), my life would become impossible here in Sweden. I feel I need to have the right reasons why the bible is corect and also some guide on when exeptions might be ok. As you might understand there are not so many people that are interested to really investigate this here in Sweden. Most people just say it is obvious that the bible can not be understood word by word (literally?) but must be interpreted in relation to todays life and values.

Hi Mikael, I understand your questioning and the religious & faith situation in Sweden today. My family came from Sweden in 1900’s to America and I follow things in Sweden now because of it. The bible stories and prophecies were handed down both orally and written thru centuries. I would encourage you to read the books of the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the Letters of the Apostles as a LOVE LETTER to you. Study also ancient history of Biblical times both from secular history and religious points of view. God (in Ezeichial) said he want his law written in our hearts (based on his love for us and vice versa) Christ came to do just that. True some things in the old testament laws are not followed today ie laws regarding the animal sacrifices because Christ on the cross was the final ultimate perfect sacrifice for your, my and the whole world’s sins. But Christ said to be in the world but not “of” it. One should never try to conform God or Gods laws to Man’s desires or values, it’s the other way around. Christ and God wants a relationship with each of us, to keep his word, His love for us and our love for Him always in our hearts. The only way to do that is to repent and accept Christ. He will put the Comforter (the Holy Spirit) in you who will reveal to you God’s ways and will for you as you study his word. By all means read bible studies etc etc. But gods word is ultimately the final say and the holy spirit will reveal the Truth to you in his word and how it applies to you and your culture. A concordance such as Strong’s will help you find passages applicable to your life. Also DON’T cherry pick bible verses or use them out of context as most people are doing here. Read entire chapters and passages (like a novel). The Gospels and letters of the apostles ought to be read that way to. I.e The LETTER to the EPHESIANS Paul didn’t send them a “VERSE A DAY” back then if you know what I mean. However you can meditate on one or more verses if you want too. Just remember Satan can present himself as an angel of light so test all teachings, ministers etc according to scripture. I hope you find a church in Sweden that preaches and teaches the truth of God’s word. I truly believe you are in the minority as you say. All I know my Swedish Grandparents would never go for what’s happened to the Church in Sweden today. God bless you more than you can ever hope, think or imagine! ((Ephesians).

It has become apparent to me that Satan is present everywhere. In every church, in every group of believers, on blog sites, on TV; everywhere he can cause confusion, doubt, and misbelief among believers in Christ. Personally I would not follow a person or take their statement as truth because they can “wax eloquently”, expose great knowledge, advanced education or because they have three letters after their name or hold my attention by being entertaining. Anyone can post a blog site or stand on a street corner and hand out flyers with words that are well written but the scripture says “we will know them by their works”. Can they “practice” what Christ taught, not what THEY teach? A man of God will be known not so much by what he says but what he does and you are not going to learn this about a man from interaction with him or his followers on the internet or TV. Christ told Peter “feed my sheep” and He also said “in as much as ye have shown love to the least of these (widows, prisoners, sick) ye have also loved me”. A man of God will practice these things and not to bring attention to himself or his so called ministry, he will do these things because he loves Christ. I challenge you to go into any nursing home and look for His Church and look for His people. It is easy; nursing homes are everywhere and all you need do is sign in at the front desk and then walk on back and talk with the residents and when they can’t talk, just talk with them and share your day, you can even share the gospel with them. Note how many “learned men of God” that you see there. Some nursing homes and assisted living centers do not even have a church that will conduct a weekly worship service for the residents. “Grand-standing” to get public attention is much more rewarding? Christ is coming back soon and His Church is going to be held accountable, as well as each believer, of how they served Him in HIS ministry AND if they fed His sheep or spread His flocks by confusion and deception. One day, you may be standing before Him and the words you post here may be read? Likewise please be careful with what you read here and do not assume comments are divinely inspired.

I praise God that my husband who was catholic read the bible and repented in Jesus name. He was taught NOT to read the scriptures in that organization. He left the catholic religious organization. I do teach the Hebrew roots of our faith. But I am not a part of the “Torah, Hebrew Root movement”. I do celebreath Sabbath and Passover. But not in a bid for become rigtheousness, nor to get saved. I am saved my grace alone, apart from the law.
Ivar, I appreciate the way you answer with God’s Word to such confused people. To people who really are wanting the TRUTH. Praying that anyone that sees the TRUTH through Biblical answers on this thread comes to God’s saving grace through the TRUE MESSIAH and not the lie of satan showing himself as an “angel of light”. The moment I relaized there is a heaven and a hell, I started to reach out to others. Who were lost like me. I can not even think of my worst enemy, having to spend eternity in Hell. I plead to everyone, to search for and surrender to the living God. Before its too late. Jesus (Yeshua) is full of mercy for all who search for Him. He desire that they shall chose Him with all their heart, embracing Him by using their free will. Reading and beliving the Word og God will set them free from the guilt of their sins.

I personally believe the answers can be revealed to you through being the best human you can be. How do you know how to be the best a human can be? Selflessness. Anything you get from the Bible always comes down to that fundamental idea. Jesus loved all of us so much he paid the ultimate price. The most we can do to honor such a loving God is to do the actions God has done for us. Be good to one-another.

Jesus died as a Jew and if you really read the Gospels, He asked the apostles to go share the good news to the lost sheeps of ISRAEL, “Send her away, because she keeps shouting at us.” But He responded, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Matthew 15:21-24 TLV (also read Matthew 10:5-6).
