Bible lessons # 19: Be careful when Satan appears as an Angel of Light

Satan seldom appears as «Satan». When he does, no one gets deceived. The devil is most dangerous when He pretends to be God, and takes the name of «Jesus»

Angel_of_Light
Satan will surely tempt you, when he appears as an Angel of light. He will even claim to be Jesus the Messiah.

In the book of Job Satan appears, and enter into a conversation with God the Most High.

Job 1:8
«Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job?»

By using Job to test Satan, God of the Bible displayed who is the supreme commander in the Heavens above.

Eve did not stand the test. In the garden of Eden, Satan took the form of a serpent, and deceived her. God of the Bible has warned us that Satan will try to get you to worship him as «God», simply by making an idol, and claiming that a piece of stone and wood needs to be adored or venerated.

The Jewish Apostle Paul warned us, that Satan may also appear as an Angel of light.

2 Corinthians 11:14
«And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light».

When Satan does such deceptive moves, many people shout «Hallelujah» and «Praise Jesus». They do not realize that there has to be a gift of discernment in every Church, to be able to tell the difference between a miracle and sign performed by Lucifer or God Most high.

To create maximum havoc among Christians, and destroy Churches, Lucifer has to operate inside our fellowships. To be able to do that, Satan has to claim to be «Jesus». If he had not done so, no true Christian would have listen to any of his messages.

What would be a typical message from a counterfeit and false Jesus?

A false Jesus would come and promote sin as the truth, or call for acceptance of sin as permitted by the Word of God. Often we have heard messages like: «The Bible opens for different interpretations». Thats the beginning of a satanic deception, that will end up in a final approval and promotion of sin.

The true Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth, warned us that there would come people in His name, claiming to be Him. Since they are not Him, they are some form of an anti-Christ.

Let me give you some examples:

«Jesus of Rome»:

He is a promoter of idols in form of wood and stone, and is in disagreement with God of the Bible in various issues. His followers are well known for claiming that the Bible can not be understood and followed as it is written.

«Jesus of Mecca»:

He is a mortal man, a good and learned prophet, who is dead and gone. His followers do not worship him, and do not believe He is a divine Son of Allah.

«Jesus of prosperity»:

He is a fleshy fellow, who feeds his sheep with money and prosperity. His followers are promoting a false gospel of health and wealth.

«Jesus of Jehova Witnesses»:

This copy-cat is not the Creator, but a created being. His followers do not worship Him as God

«Jesus of the Mormons»:

This is a Jesus who promotes two Bibles. The same Bible as the Christian Holy book, and one exclusive Mormon Bible with the final revelation from God Most high.

«Jesus of Hinduism»:

Many Hindus worship «Jesus». But only as one of an endless list of gods. This Jesus is good, and miracles and wonders takes place. But he is not the only way to Heaven.

You might say:

But I prayed to God, and He answered my prayers?

Well, and good. But how do you know that is was God Most High, and not Lucifer who entertained you?

Let me ask you some questions:

Who helped Pharaohs magicians to copy the miracles of Moses in Egypt?

Elijah challenged 600 false prophets of Baal. Who gave them all their false messages?

Would these false prophets have been with Baal, if he never answered any of their prayers?

Even Jesus warned us about false Messiahs to come, and false miracles and wonders to appear to deceive even the elect of God Most High.

Matthew 24:24

«For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect—if that were possible».

Who feeds such false prophets?

Is it not the false Messiah who performs such miracles and wonders?

How to discern the difference?

Do like Paul:

Preach the divine God the Son crucified, focus on his death for our sins, and resurrection that brings eternal life. Demand fruit of repentance, and spot for the U-turn they have to take to avoid ending up in the lake of fire.

It will never be enough to listen to the gospel. You have to «do» the gospel. You have to walk on Earth as Jesus the Messiah did. Like the Jewish apostles Peter, Paul and John.

If you have received the Holy Spirit , you will never again challenge the Word of God. The Word has to understood the way it is has been divinely inspired, and written down. Word by Word. Start your new life with the Gospel according to the Apostles John, chapter 1.

    1. Dear David.

      Shalom.

      You wrote:

And then there’s the Jesus of Ivar…how do we know this is the true Jesus? Because Ivar says so…we can trust him

      My comment:

I have challenged you to quote the Bible. «The Jesus of Ivar» must be Jesus of the Bible. When I am wrong, you need to correct me. Not with Papal doctrine and human made up stories. But with the Word of God. Since the true Jesus is the Word that became flesh.

      1. Your rules are not my rules, Ivar. I don’t believe the Bible claims to be the sole rule of faith. I mean the doctrine of sola scriptura is itself unbiblical. Please show me where the Bible claims such a status for itself. You my claim that 2 Timothy 3:16–17 claims Scripture is sufficient as a rule of faith. But an examination of the verse in context shows that it doesn’t claim that at all; it only claims Scripture is “profitable” (Greek: ophelimos) that is, helpful. Many things can be profitable for moving one toward a goal, without being sufficient in getting one to the goal. Notice that the passage nowhere even hints that Scripture is “sufficient”.

The context of 2 Timothy 3:16–17 is Paul laying down a guideline for Timothy to make use of Scripture and tradition in his ministry as a bishop. Paul says, “But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; and that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God (Greek: theopneustos = “God-breathed”), and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Tim. 3:14–17).

      2. Dear David.

        Your comment:

Your rules are not my rules, Ivar. I don’t believe the Bible claims to be the sole rule of faith. I mean the doctrine of sola scriptura is itself unbiblical.

        My reply:

What you are doing, is accusing God of the Bible of lying. In John 1:1 He says that the Word is God.

      3. And later on in John 21:25 he says “But there are also many other things that Jesus did; if every one of them were written down, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.”

You’re the liar, Ivar, I never would accuse God of such a thing.

      4. Dear David.

Again you are lying, and twisting the scripture.

John 21:25 does not promote changing the scripture, or adding human wisdom to the Word of God.

Let me give you an example:

If you have 50 beggars in front of you, who do you help?

Who of them that is in need, and who is a fake, can only be reveled to you by the Holy Spirit. But the Word of God do not change. You are called to give to the needy.

The Papal system is a religious institution that has corrupted and falsified the Word of God, by adding human made traditions to it. Outside Sola Fide and Sola Scriptura there is only false Christianity.

      5. The Church (the CATHOLIC Church) has not changed anything in scripture, in fact is the embodiment of scripture since Christ’s time on earth.

Prove to me a scripture they have changed, corrupted or falsified? St. Paul and St. Peter VALUE traditions, in fact instruct their disciples to teach (which is by word of mouth, which equals tradition).

The very canon of scripture you value is a TRADITION, Ivar. The bible never says by faith alone or by scripture alone. Besides, which is it. “Alone” means one only…so is it faith or scripture?

      6. OK, Ivar, I want to listen to you…can you tell me what religion it is I should be following so I can really look into it? Give me a good website to check out for myself…Please.

      7. Dear David.

        You wrote:

OK, Ivar, I want to listen to you….can you tell me what religion it is I should be following so I can really look into it?

        My reply:

Please tell in your heart that all men are liars, and the Word of God is the truth. Nothing more, nothing less. The Word is divinely inspired, and should be obeyed the way it is written.

      8. But that is already what I believe.

Since the Word should be obeyed as written, what do you make of John 6:48-71? Do you eat Jesus, the bread of life every day at Mass?

      9. Dear David.

        Shalom.

        You wrote:

Since the Word should be obeyed as written, what do you make of John 6:48-71? Do you eat Jesus, the bread of life every day at Mass?

        My comment:

Jesus said «I am the gate». I am fully aware of what He tries to say. He also said: «I am the bread of life». He surely do not want us to become cannibals, and try to eat His flesh. In the verse you are quoting, Jesus explains that His Words are the bread of life. He is not physically present in the Eucharist, like the Papal doctrine tries to teach his. We can only met Him in the Word, and accept Him as Master by obeying the Word as truth.

      10. So then you don’t practice what you preach…”The Word is divinely inspired, and should be obeyed the way it is written…” So much for that. Thank you for your honest answer.

      11. Dear David.

You obviously do not believe what you just wrote. I guess even you know that Jesus is not a stone. Since He is the «Rock» of out faith…..

      12. Oh, so you’re saying that some of His word is open to interpretation, and some is not. So then, whose interpretation is correct? Those who lived closest to Jesus, or Ivar? Those closest to Jesus took him LITERALLY when he said we must eat his flesh. That’s why they walked away from him and went back to their old lives. The apostles, and their followers, believed in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. He does not say “My words are the bread of life.” He says ” I am the bread of life.”

In 1 Corinthians, Paul confirms that Jesus is with us to the end of the age in the Eucharist.

Sorry Ivar, I trust the Early Church Fathers over you.

      13. Dear David.

It is both sad and funny to debate with a man, who just quoted a scripture, but still have no clue what Jesus was telling:

        John 6:63
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.

Why is this so difficult to understand?

Read the conversation between Jesus and His disciples all over again, but first pray that The Holy Spirit will come and reveal the truth.

You are a cannibal in God`s eyes, David. The Vatican and the Roman priesthood have made you one. That why the Roman Church its full of demons. You really think you LITERALLY have to eat Jesus to follow him.

      14. Yes sir, Pope Ivar, sir. Thank you for bestowing your authority over 1.6 billion people who know what Christ was saying.

      15. Dear David.

        Isaiah 29:13
The Lord says: “These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men.

      16. There you go, judging people’s hearts again, Ivar…

Let me ask you a question: When people in Jesus’ time looked at him, did they know he was divine?

      17. Dear David.

        Shalom.

        You wrote:

When people in Jesus’ time looked at him, did they know he was divine?

        My reply:

No Catholic believe so. Because the Papal system has told them that no one can be sure of salvation. A Catholic has been raised to say that « I have done something good, and something bad». And have to wait on the judgment after they are dead and gone from Earth.

You see, David. You are a religious man, but your worship and wisdom is of no value. Because it is not based on the truth.

      18. Once again, you are wrong. Jesus did not look divine to those around him, until after his resurrection. Still his disciples didn’t understand until they were given the Holy Spirit.

My worship and wisdom is of infinite value to God, and that’s all I care about. Earning that which I cannot earn.

      19. Dear David.

        Shalom.

You wrote: Jesus did not look divine to those around him, until after his resurrection.

My comment: When Jesus walked on water, did He look divine? I can give you many examples. But I have to stop this debate with you, with this remarks.

        Luke 24:45
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

    2. hey it is rude , i baptised several times. the thingy of evil empire of magic, i like the dirt GOD moved me into, it said to me 4..42016 australia let ya flesh rot your body, slicing piecing feeling chasing me every foot step i want you knowing these secrets it said, the police thought it was amusing?. where this thing not stand is near the holy spirit, and at a church i sprang ugly words , the thingy said oh do not swear stuff oh not in a church, it is horrible ok, you feel it moch you run to holy ghost.

      1. That wasn’t the apostles, and it was God the Father, not Jesus. I asked you “When Jesus walked the earth, did he look divine?” The point is that he was whether he looked like it or not. And the point of that is to bring you to see that, when He said that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood, he was speaking literally. Couple that with his institution of the Eucharist “This is my body. This is my blood” and we can see that he is really present in our Eucharist.

      2. Dear David.

        You wrote:

That wasn’t the apostles, and it was God the Father, not Jesus.

        My comment:

You are wrong. Read 1.Cor, and tell me when you have found the verse that exposes another of your many errors.

  1. Exposes nothing, Ivar. The apostles weren’t led out of Egypt. Christ wasn’t walking the earth at that time. There you go twisting scripture again, Pope Ivar.

    1. Dear David.

I do not know what you are trying to prove. Lets take a look of what this verse is saying:

      1. Cor 10: 1-4.

For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers, that our forefathers were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea. They were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea. They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same spiritual drink; for they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them, and that rock was Christ.

      My comment:

The man who wrote this never met the physical Jesus. Still He understood.

You have to pretty dull not to understand that the Jews was aware of the divine Messiah, before He had resurrected. The argument was not if Jesus was divine or not. The Jews argued over the issue if Jesus was the promised Messiah, the anointed One. Even the Angles who appeared to Jacob in the book of Genesis was considered divine, coming from the Holy presence of God, and returning back to God.

Jesus the Messiah has always been, and will alway be divine. Thats what why He said to the teachers of the Law: «Before Abraham, I am».

When Peter and two other disciples saw Jesus, Moses and Elijah transfigured before them, and a voice speaking from Heaven, what did they do?

      Matthew 17:2-6

When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified.

There was no need to be terrified if these were mere men. But since Father God also spoke from Heaven, you can be sure that the disciples knew the divine Messiah appearing just in front of them.

      1. I am saying that they did not know he was divine. He told them. He did miracles. He showed them. But did he appear divine? No, he looked human. So what is readily visible outside does not necessarily reveal what’s inside.

Those that knew Jesus rejected him, even in his home town, as divine.

Thus, it is easy for you to not believe Jesus is in the Eucharist. What is apparent on the outside does not reveal what is inside.

And you think I am dull??? If the Jews recongized his divinity, why did they crucify him?

      2. David.

The «Jews» did not crucify Jesus. Your sins killed him, you deserve to die and go to Hell.

There was many Jews who believed in Him, gave their life to Him, and who understood who He was when He walked on Earth. Even the three wise men, that came from the East, Simeon in the temple, the prophetess Anna, and all the shepherds on the fields outside Bethlehem.

        Luke 2:15
When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, «Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about».

The teachers of the law and the ruler of their days betrayed Jesus, and gave him over to the pagan rulers from Rome, who crucified Him. The same people who would have killed the author of life today, the same religious people like your self.

Can you please stop all this non sense you are writing? It dos not serve any purpose.

      3. He died for my sins and yours, but Jews put him on trial and gave him over to the Romans for crucifixion.

You paint Americans with a broad brush because of what our government does in our name, it’s the same thing. The Jewish hierarchy, the Pharisees, the Saducees, the Sanhedrin, condemned him.

I know what’s true, Ivar, sorry if it offends you.

  2. David Someday everything that ivarfjeld said to you
will come back to you and your eyes will suddenly be opened to Scripture if you are really looking for the truth. I was a former catholic and not a once or twice a year catholic and I was not happy. A pastor told me that I needed to ask Jesus to open my eyes to TRUTH.I did, and scripture became so clear it was as though Jesus was talking to me through Scripture Himself. David sometimes we need to Listen to what the Sprit says

    1. Dear Sandra.

Shalom, and thanks for this comment.

It is true. The Spirit use the scripture as a double edge sword. He cut through our heart and soul, and convinces us that the scripture is the infallible Word of God. Rules taught by men that contradicts the scriptures, must be rejected as falsehood.

      Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

      1. OK!?!?!

You said the Apostles were led out of Eygpt, but here in this scripture as clear as day does not say any indication of the Apostles??? What the heck are you trying to prove?? Stop using agin sola scriptura, it does not work!! One interpretation is another interpretation……and thats a fact!!! You my dear Sir have no authority on this scriptural matter. Unless you do have a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Sacred Scriptures and what University you went?? If so….what is it??? Did you that all Catholic and Orthodox Priest have a Master’s Degree in a field of Theology??? Most Protestant Ministers do that!!! Some just preach the Word without any schooling or degree?? Strange!!! Jesus went to school….learned scripture from Rabbis, learn the Law and Torah…..he did all this….and was Rabbi or teacher!!!!!

      2. Dear Henry Jones.

        Shalom.

        You wrote:

Strange!!! Jesus went to school….learned scripture from Rabbis, learn the Law and Torah…..he did all this….and was Rabbi or teacher!!!!!

        My reply:

This is another falsification of history. Jesus did not call Him self a Rabbi. People was amazed about his knowledge of the scripture, and called him Rabbi. Not so strange. Jesus is the author of scripture.

Jesus did not go to school to learn the scripture. He IS the scripture. To the radical opposite, He entered the Temple at the age of 12, and taught the Rabbis and the teachers of the Law.

        You also wrote:

Most Protestant Ministers do that!!! Some just preach the Word without any schooling or degree??

        My reply:

The RCC priests do everything they can to lift them self a little bit above others. Jesus did NOT call the priests of his day to serve Him. He called fishermen…..

I am getting tired of your comments Henry Jones. Why are you on News That Matters? Cant you go somewhere else with all this Papal promoted falsehood?

    2. AMEN, Sandra! I am a former practicing catholic brought out and saved by the GRAVE OF GOD through THE BIBLICAL JESUS!
      In John 14:6 Jesus said
“I am the way, the truth and the life, No one comes to the Father but by me”.
DONE. That verse is what brought me out of the practice of catholicism.

      *John 8:32
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

  3. This debate is almost one year old now, so I’m a little bit late with a comment. But I want to remind of the words in the beginning of the Bible: “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” (Gen 3:1). When debating with a catholic, a muslim, a mormon and so on, we should take heed of these important Words of God (“has God said”) to reveal the lies of Satan.

    1. Dear Majiis

Shalom, and thanks for this comment.

Satan is not dangerous to Christians, when he appears as a devilish force. He is dangerous when he appear as an Angel of Light. The most dangerous version of Satan, is when he appears as the “Messiah”. Than the children of the devil are able to damage the true body of Jesus.

Eternally condemned is he, who let the wolfs into the flock of His sheep.

  4. That’s true, Ivar. And that is happening now everywhere, he appears as the “Messiah” with signs and wonders and deceives a lot of Christians.

God bless you and keep up your work

    Majlis

  5. I think you guys are all certifiable. Since Jesus is not the blood of the beast aka Lucifer, the # of the man, Jesus is not the SON OF GOD, and it is Lucifer that bears this light and truth to this day ha ha ha! You guys really are dis-intelligent and crazy. The truth is in the blood and light of our God Lucifer, God bless you!

    Billy bob teeth people!

  6. To ivarfjeld!!!!! Well excuse me for telling the truth. You are SO ignorant of telling what theologically, Scriptural, and Historical truthful!

We believe that scripture is sufficient!! But it is only materially sufficient, not formally sufficient, which what you Protestant believe and take hold!!

There are formal arguments for and against sola scriptura.

I’m getting old and I appeal to the intuitive arguments against SS.

The Catholic Church says its teaching is based on scripture, tradition, and magisterium.

Whatever else tradition (or Tradition) is, it includes how we understand scripture. THAT is the practical Tradition that the CC has.

Protestants have different understandings of the Bible, and that is their “tradition.” They claim that they don’t have tradition, but they do. That denial is their glaring mistake.

They say they don’t need the Church and its teaching authority. So, they have somebody in the place of the pope who has authority to teach. So, again, their denial is silly

EVERY Christian denomination has the Bible, tradition, and magisterium. Christianity Today admitted to the tradition part in an article, maybe 16 years ago.

Protestants dodge the real and essential question, which is the correct “tradition” (interpretation of scripture) and where is the correct teaching authority. Their formal arguments dissolve into their simply refusing to accept the CC.

Example. There are heresies that cropped up after apostilic and NT times, and it was the Church which opposed them. Scripture alone was not enough to refute these errors. It took a NEW LOOK at the scriptures by church leaders FOLLOWING THE HISTORIC TRADITIONS to oppose the new heresies.

The Church is also the living Body of Christ without which Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition would cease to exist. God declares that His Word shall never pass away, but perhaps the chief method by which He ensures the fulfillment of that prophecy is by the parallel fulfillment of the prophecy that the gates of Hell shall never prevail against the Church. Hell is the abode of sinners and against God, so this, among other things, means that the Church shall never die. And if the Church can neither die nor be destroyed, then this same One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church shall always be alive in the world to perpetuate the preaching of the Written Word of God (Scripture) and the teaching of the Spoken Word of God (Tradition), both of which flow from the very Heart of the Son, who is the Living Word of God (and thus also flow from the heart of the Church).

I know you’re saying that the Church has no purpose!! So consider this: if the Church, which is Christ’s Body, had no purpose, then Christ Himself, who is perfectly One with His Body, must likewise be understood to have no purpose, since it is by the personal charism of Christ the King that His Visible Body, the Church, continues His ministry of preaching, teaching, and administering the Sacraments. He and His Church are intimately and integrally linked for all eternity. The purpose of the Church, which is the people of God, is to be Christ to the world. So, since His purpose is the most paramount purpose ever taken up throughout all time and space, then so is that of His Church. Tradition and Scripture are of absolutely unfathomable importance – amen! – but without the Church to faithfully pass them on to each successive generation, how would we know anything of them? We’re already seeing, through the machinations of those who have completely cut themselves off both from the Catholic Church and thus from the Sacred Tradition that flows from It, the utter degradation and dismantling of Sacred Scripture by a group that dares call itself by Christ’s own name: “The Jesus Seminar”. Without the Church to safeguard and faithfully echo the Truth, there would be none left…

You can Ban or spam me all you want, but I’ll make sure others will debate in this blog of False teachings and understanding!!! You have no IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Dear Henry Jones.

      Shalom.

      You wrote:

You can Ban or spam me all you want, but I’ll make sure others will debate in this blog of False teachings and understanding!!! You have no IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!

      My reply:

The NTM Team do not spam people who disagree with us. We do not spam people who do not feel the Word of God needs to be obeyed. I was just wondering what you try to achieve by your visits to this blog?

    2. You quote the “Sacred Tradition” but no where in the Bible does it mention such a term. The reality is we should realize the the so called “Sacred Tradition” is a mechanism of Lucifer to codify and illicit Tradition over the very death and resurrection of Christ. To be saved, no one needs the Pope or the Catholic Church… Period! Anyone that says that a person needs the Pope or the Catholic Church to be saved is speaking the words of Satan and not the words of Jesus! Plain and simple and since Jesus was God, you are going against God himself!

  7. I’m also a late comer in this debate so I’m not going to bother to argue but shall pose a few questions. It goes to all since you all keeping referencing to the “scriptures” as the “word of God”. My first question is where do the “scriptures” begin being the “word of God” and where does it end and start being the “tradition of men” or wasn’t that a referrence to the Oral Law and Rabbanical teachings? The second is would I be wrong in saying that after the Book of Deutoronomy every other book is either history of the state of Israel and its relationship with their God our God (Joshua, Ruth, Ezra, Judges, Chronicles Kings etc) or commentary therefore on the 5 books of Moses (The prophets, Proverbs etc)? Third question is when the apostles were referring to the “scriptures”in their epistles (letters to each other) weren’t they by any chance referring to the so called Jewish Tanak? And lastly can anybody please make me understand why didn’t the Messiah write anything at all? And by the way Ivar I like your reasoning taking nothing from the others of course. You guys are all great.

    1. Dear drmillerick

      Shalom.

      You requested me to read:

      Matthew 15:24
He answered, ‘I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.’

      My reply:

Surely, I am concerned about the lost sheep. That is why the Lord called me to use the gift of discernment, and start a blog for debate on taboo’s related to deception.

      Matthew 24:24
For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

Discernment, deliverance and healing is linked to each other. Many claimed to be born again Christians have been royally deceived, and lead astray.

When Jesus was standing in Jerusalem, there was a lot of lost sheep around Him. The lost sheep of Jacob, renamed Israel. 10 of the tribes had not even been permitted to return home.

  8. It is very necessary to warn nowadays. Thanks for your warnings, Ivar. And thank you for your informations. Good to know, that at least one man can still decern and are up to date.

  9. Never have I read such a load of ignorant, prejudiced non-thinking rubbish. It is a major debate among serious bible scholars whether or not Paul should be considered to be an apostle and therefore have any relevance to Jesus and His teachings. Apart from the fact that Paul fought with and rubbished the real apostles, to other churches, he was a liar who told three different versions of his road to Damascus story. Worse he was a braggard who claimed to have been lifted up to the third heaven- the domain and presence of the Almighty where only Jesus had ascended. In doing this he was obviously comparing himself to Jesus. What is possible (and accepted by some serious scholars) is that Paul was a disciple of Satan who was used to establish an apostate Christianity in Rome. There is no indication or record that Peter – the only person given the “keys to the Kingdom” ever left the Middle East.Every alleged Christian Church that has grown from the original Roman Church is non-Christian no matter what they say or practice. The same applies to the so called Charismatic groups who do not have the blessing of the universal language used by Peter at pentecost, but instead gabble in the chaotic language of demons.Jesus’ promise to be among those gathered in his name applied specifically only to his apostles – a promise he kept after his resurrection. To really understand what is offered and required by Jesus and our Father, concentrate only on the words of Jesus and consider that many of his comments relate to more than one time.

    1. dear Dr.

      2Peter 3:

14 Therefore, dear friends, since you are waiting for these things, strive to be found at peace, without spot or blemish, when you come into his presence. 15 And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also our dear brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him, 16 speaking of these things in all his letters. Some things in these letters are hard to understand, things the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they also do to the rest of the scriptures.

  10. Jesus said, “if any of your children asks you for a fish, will you give him a serpent? Or if he asks you for bread, will you give him a stone? Or if he asks for an egg, will you give him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give what is good (the Holy Spirit) to those who ask Him?”

  11. Dear Ivar

    You said:

    John 6:63
The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.

Why is this so difficult to understand?

    My reply:

John 6:63 is not proof against the Eucharist.

The flesh is a term used in the time of Jesus that mean human desires and wants. There are many clear examples showing the true meaning of this verse. And showing that Jesus is NOT refering to His own flesh.

    Matthew 26:41
“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The  spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Romans 8:1-17 gives detailed explanation what is really meant by spirit and flesh.

In John 6:63, Jesus uses the phrase “the flesh” instead of “my flesh” or “the flesh of the Son of Man” because he is not talking about his own body; he is referring to natural man.

    For example:

    John 6:51

“This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”

    Read also John 6:53-56

Are you actually saying that Jesus is saying that HIS own flesh “counts for nothing” otherwise his death upon the cross would be meaningless?

    1. Dear armorrcc

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

Welcome back. Let us debate on topics, one at a time. And only a few points at a time.

Remember that Jesus and his students were celebrating the passover. The Jews were accustomed to drink the wine, and remember the blood of the passover lamb in Egypt. This was done in rememberance of a physical lamb, and physical blood. When Jesus said that the passover blood was His blood, no doubt his 12 students faced some problems understanding the message.

      1. Jesus: You are not a physical lamb.
      2. The Law of Moses forbids all Jews from drinking physical blood.
      2. Jesus: You have not cut your finger, so we can not drink your blod.

Based on these obvious correct observations, Jesus did not cut his finger. He did not drink His own blood, nor did his students. The Messiah spoke about an event that was going to take place witin the next 24 hours. When He was doing to shedd His blood for the sins of the World. Adn we do drink from the cup, to remember this blood, and ONLY the blood sheed at Calvary Hill in Jerusalem.

First after the ressurection, His studnet might have undertood what the prophet John the Bpatist spoke. Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the the sins of the World.

  12. The only acceptable and true understanding of any writing from any source what so ever is the one intended by the author. Injecting you own views into any writing is a corruption of that writing. If you intend on understand what the writer of the passage is trying to say you must let it speak for itself and never allow another’s interpretation to dictate what it says.

Just pointing out what should be obvious.

    1. Ahh one who understands the corruption of the word by others interpretation of which i have been debating with the ‘TRUE CHRISTIANS”

    1. Does one stay neutral in the face of international house of prayer moving in with their theology? In light of Philippians 1:18.

  13. Any man that calls someone other than their own birth father and God as “Father” is clearly not following the Jesus of the bible. This is the problem with Catholicism. They believe that the Pope has the ability to remove sin or forgive sin. The bible is very clear… “I am the way, the truth and the light, no man cometh to the Father (God) except through me.” To think that the Pope represents Christ on earth “The vicar of Christ” is purely satanic, demonic and blasphemous to the words of Jesus. Any catholic that seeks to change the words of the bible is adding or deleting the very words of the book! You hate the fact, that people can be saved without bowing down to the POPE because you deny the real Jesus!

  14. Repent, the end is near! WM life forever!
What does scripture say about the CAP and MOD? The MOD needs Jesus, yes King – you! Why did the ZMS’s get sacrificed????

  15. My goodness what a madness. people go on stubborn in their hearts. First thing what we have to do is that we should be humanitarian. so that we can change something in and around us. That’s what JESUS did. Its not about remembering few quotations and just saying everywhere to see the people. As we we are first human being we also need to have the culture and traditions and at the same time prayer. It is hard to say that there are so many Protestant Brothers who terrify people by saying second coming of Jesus. lets do good things and people should feel to change their life by way of our model life.

  16. I came across this aricle while searching google on how satan might pretend to act as jesus or god. I would like to start apologizing for my language. It might be bad since I am not a native english speaker. Anyway, there are so many different beliefs within christianity and where I live, in Sweden, a great deal of liberal beliefs. As I interpret the matter, the only way would be tot turn to the bible. But if so, how would I be certain that the bible holds the correct answer in todays life. After all, the bible was put together by people many years ago. Some prophesies were chosen to be included and others to be left out. I would be pleased if someone could help me find the answe to why i should trust the bible (assembled by men) instead of searching within myself, in conversation with god and with support of the bible. Todays life i so different from the life in the bible and if I were to follow all the restrictions in the bible (for instance food restictions), my life would become impossible here in Sweden. I feel I need to have the right reasons why the bible is corect and also some guide on when exeptions might be ok. As you might understand there are not so many people that are interested to really investigate this here in Sweden. Most people just say it is obvious that the bible can not be understood word by word (literally?) but must be interpreted in relation to todays life and values.

    Best regards
    In faith but confused
    Mikael

  17. People on here are only concerned with their own teaching, particularly david and ivar, neither of you have the truth, you are dividing christ just like the tomans did at the foot of the cross by throwing lots for his garments, religions and teachings that can’t agree divide christ,God and Christ are not dividef, all churches today say only they have the true teaching, none of them do,for in the last days,God himself will teach you in the spirit, you people aren’t close, you are self righteous and cause division, this has nothing to do with the body of christ,it is evil, change your ways lest you be judged !

  18. You speak the truth Ivar. But the Truth spoken to people who have followed a false truth for 1500 years will not be received. Find fertile soil.

    1. Dear Andy.

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

I agree that ministring to Roman Catholics are not easy. And that the absolute majority of them are not interested in truth. But some will be willing to repent. A single soul is more worth than all gold and silver on the face of planet Earth.

  19. It has become apparent to me that Satan is present everywhere. In every church, in every group of believers, on blog sites, on TV; everywhere he can cause confusion, doubt, and misbelief among believers in Christ. Personally I would not follow a person or take their statement as truth because they can “wax eloquently”, expose great knowledge, advanced education or because they have three letters after their name or hold my attention by being entertaining. Anyone can post a blog site or stand on a street corner and hand out flyers with words that are well written but the scripture says “we will know them by their works”. Can they “practice” what Christ taught, not what THEY teach? A man of God will be known not so much by what he says but what he does and you are not going to learn this about a man from interaction with him or his followers on the internet or TV. Christ told Peter “feed my sheep” and He also said “in as much as ye have shown love to the least of these (widows, prisoners, sick) ye have also loved me”. A man of God will practice these things and not to bring attention to himself or his so called ministry, he will do these things because he loves Christ. I challenge you to go into any nursing home and look for His Church and look for His people. It is easy; nursing homes are everywhere and all you need do is sign in at the front desk and then walk on back and talk with the residents and when they can’t talk, just talk with them and share your day, you can even share the gospel with them. Note how many “learned men of God” that you see there. Some nursing homes and assisted living centers do not even have a church that will conduct a weekly worship service for the residents. “Grand-standing” to get public attention is much more rewarding? Christ is coming back soon and His Church is going to be held accountable, as well as each believer, of how they served Him in HIS ministry AND if they fed His sheep or spread His flocks by confusion and deception. One day, you may be standing before Him and the words you post here may be read? Likewise please be careful with what you read here and do not assume comments are divinely inspired.

  20. It is upsetting to see such passionate people who obviously love Christ arguing amongst one another.

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.

  21. I praise God that my husband who was catholic read the bible and repented in Jesus name. He was taught NOT to read the scriptures in that organization. He left the catholic religious organization. He knows that the bible that he owns tells him not to do what he was taught. He now knows that scripture tells him call no man on earth father. He knows now that let no one judge you concerning any holy day. His mother persecuted him and threw his clothes out because he would not follow lies. She refuses to obey the word of God. She is mad that the bible does not agree with her. Jesus clearly says he came to bring division….Matthew 10…… 34“Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35“For I came to SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW; 36and A MAN’S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.

37“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38“And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. 39“He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it. If you don’t want Jesus fine. Just remember people told you the truth…..You always go by the bible not family not spouse but every word that comes from God……Many religious groups used to say they were the only ones. God sent his one and only son Jesus…….If you want the truth you will look for it and receive it. God gave humans a choice……. Jesus brought peace to who receives him…….Jesus clearly says………….. If you do not receive the truth here is what Jesus tells evangelist or any one sharing the word of God. Matthew 10…..13“If the house is worthy, give it your blessing of peace. But if it is not worthy, take back your blessing of peace. 14“Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet. 15“Truly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

  22. Ivarjfeld do you teach hebrew root? I am just curious. And do you perform seders? Thank you for this word. It is very true and beautiful. I am wondering if you still follow jewish customs? I find that a lot with people who use the name yeshua. Apostle Paul in Hebrews and the letters teach us to leave customs and traditions..

    Thank you
    God Bless you..

    1. Dear Herma Hudek

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

I do teach the Hebrew roots of our faith. But I am not a part of the “Torah, Hebrew Root movement”. I do celebreath Sabbath and Passover. But not in a bid for become rigtheousness, nor to get saved. I am saved my grace alone, apart from the law.

  23. Ivar, I appreciate the way you answer with God’s Word to such confused people. To people who really are wanting the TRUTH. Praying that anyone that sees the TRUTH through Biblical answers on this thread comes to God’s saving grace through the TRUE MESSIAH and not the lie of satan showing himself as an “angel of light”. I highly recommend the watching of a documentay called “Messages From Heaven” . Those apparitions are definitely a lie!
    Many people being deceived!

    1. Dear bornagain 732

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

      Thanks for blessing me.

The moment I relaized there is a heaven and a hell, I started to reach out to others. Who were lost like me. I can not even think of my worst enemy, having to spend eternity in Hell. I plead to everyone, to search for and surrender to the living God. Before its too late. Jesus (Yeshua) is full of mercy for all who search for Him. He desire that they shall chose Him with all their heart, embracing Him by using their free will. Reading and beliving the Word og God will set them free from the guilt of their sins.

  24. I personally believe the answers can be revealed to you through being the best human you can be. How do you know how to be the best a human can be? Selflessness. Anything you get from the Bible always comes down to that fundamental idea. Jesus loved all of us so much he paid the ultimate price. The most we can do to honor such a loving God is to do the actions God has done for us. Be good to one-another.

  25. To do the gospel??? Thats a massive work.God says no its by faith or grace and thats the offer God is giving.Only if we believe and trust he has died for your sins and he rose from dead 3 days later. He is the risen Christ and the son of God.Once you understand the basis then one asks how do I get this or what must I do to be saved or go to heaven. The offer is this Jesus and the bible says.Believe that I am who I am and that I made the payment for all sins. Now you will recieve this perfect righteousness once you leave this world. So anyone can who trusts this or believes will see the kingdom or heaven. That is the correct gospel. All our works are like filthy rags so just trust on The gospel which I just explained in 2 parts, the basis and the offer. One being what Jesus did on the cross for us and the next just as important which means its a free gift to mankind. He has to choose to believe once he understands for that is Gods plan for salvation. And then he also becomes a saint or believer.

  26. A man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still. Jesus was a fisher of men…not a pusher…To truly understand the scriptures, i first pray and ask that the scriptures feed my sole with the holy spirit in Jesus name. I ask god to let the holey spirit inter into me. every time i read scripture i get something more and a better understanding of it inside me. To argue is counter productive and pushes people away. My dad use to tell me that “when i realize I am not as smart as i thought i was…that is when i was get smarter”. Satin is sneaky and will pit two believers against each other to pick apart the words and all the while laughing,
