Terry Jones arrested for disturbing Islamic peace

A Florida pastor arrested in Dearborn, Michigan before his planned protest outside the Islamic Center of America says he plans to file a lawsuit.

Terry Jones would have been beheaded in Iran, for his disturbance of "Islamic peace".

Controversial pastor Terry Jones said he would file a lawsuit against the Wayne County Prosecutor’s office, The Detroit News reported Sunday.

The Koran-burning pastor was arrested Friday after a jury deliberating on a complaint filed by Wayne County prosecutors found Jones would likely create a “breach of the peace” if he were to proceed with his demonstration outside the mosque on Good Friday.

“It was a total violation of our constitutional rights,” Jones told the Detroit Free Press Saturday at Detroit Metro Airport while waiting for a flight to Florida. “It was a mockery of the judicial process.”

Dearborn Mayor John O’Reilly Jr. said he would have had no problem with Jones rallying at City Hall, where the city has a free-speech zone.
If he had done this in the first place, there would have been no issue to begin with,” O’Reilly said.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s office had no comment on Jones’s plans to sue, the News said.

My comment:

I am against burning any books, and do not support the actions of Terry Jones.

But Jones is not the only man who burns religious books.

When the US marines burned Bibles in Afghanistan some years ago there was no riots in New York or Chicago. No condemnation from the White House.

No US army officer was arrested, accused of “breach of the peace”.

Sharia Laws in Afghanistan forbids people from distributing Bibles. Sharia Laws in the US forbid Americans from defaming Muhammad. in Sharia Laws such expressions are ‘hate crimes”.

Comfortably numb Americans are accepting that the Obama-regime enforce Sharia Laws in America. Soon it will be made a criminal offense to claim in public that all who do not believe Jesus is God, will spend eternity in Hell.  Such a message can frighten kids and Muslims, and those who distribute such a message must be locked up in jails.

Mind my words.

  1. God was pleased when Israel tore down the temples of baal and burned every lie, which did not happen often enough.
God does not change but His people do to conform to the dark winds of time.
Most of the time they could not bring themselves to remove the high places because tolerance was the norm as it is today in America Babylon.

So what happens to countries that curse Israel with their false peace agenda ?
We can see it happening in the bastion of anti-Israel UK where London has become an Islamic terrorist hub financially supported by the British Government of national suicide.
The U.S. is at the forefront in the treacherous betrayal of Israel by it’s false peace and the Church for the most part is dead silent, fearful of offending their big, filthy, perverse idol.
Can you imaging the end result of the curse that is even now growing over all of the U.S. ?

While the evil U.S. Government & Media give the disciples of hell and their demon god allah a pass, 1 brave soul who speaks the truth about Islam is demonized as an intolerant religious fool and the majority of effeminate Christian’s are nowhere to be found except on the side of evil in this anti-Christ war on the Saints.
He had every right to burn that evil book, but in America only evil is protected now, killing babies and Sodomy are the rule of the land and the effeminate church is so loving and tolerant of it all except for a very few righteous who are as bold as lions.

How soon will it be your turn to stand alone as was the case for every saint who faced martyrdom for Christ ?
Don’t count on your so called Christian friends on that day ,it will only be you and Jesus.
Those who serve vain religion will deny Christ.

    1. Dear Marcel.

      Shalom.

      My comment:

This is a valid observation. “Good time Christianity” is a falsehood. Forget about who will stand in the gap, the day you may face a bullet with your name: Who, if any, in claimed to be Christian fellowships will even lift a finger to help a brother who have been arrested, and face trial?

The message among the gossipers, will be that this man “was cursed”. He did not listen to the prosperity God.tv messages, nor did He understand that a Christian is suppose to have “complete victory” in everything, and live in “abundance till it overflows”.

People who have been deceived by such Satanic messages, “Serpent theology”, are the loudest mounts in many of our Churches today. But when trouble comes, they will all run away. All they look for is the next party and the next money angle to come and fill their pockets.

Jesus will never fail. He raises the martyrs from the dead. The walking dead’s among will most likely not be found in the Kingdom of Heaven.

  2. Yes America is “Comfortably Numb” but always willing to embrace causes that seem unbelievable such as building a mosque at ground zero or as our fine senator Lindsey Graham (sarcasm) suggesting we alter the 1st amendment making it a crime to burn the Koran?

As christians we just have to embrace the fact that we are living in the last days and Apostasy is every where imaginable.

We just have to remember God is in control. Amen! Marantha!

  3. Ivar,
Most of God’s people are living in a lie today.
I salute the brave believers who are not trying to ‘save’ their smelly flesh.

‘Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it.’
    Luke 17

The Lord showed me a few years ago that the only difference between His people back then and now is that His remnant today are even more stubborn and filled with lip service to Him.
Those who rock the boat like Jeremiah are thrown over the side of the ‘Christian’ boat.

This very unpopular message does not sell well with the rebel remnant, but I do thank God that I am in good company apart from the modern day religious hypocrites and their praises of each other.

‘Now all the captains of the forces, Johanan the son of Kareah, Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people, from the least to the greatest, came near and said to Jeremiah the prophet, “Please, let our petition be acceptable to you, and pray for us to the LORD your God, for all this remnant (since we are left but a few of many, as you can see), that the LORD your God may show us the way in which we should walk and the thing we should do.”……

29 “The LORD has said concerning you, O remnant of Judah, ‘Do not go to Egypt!’ Know certainly that I have admonished you this day. 20 For you were hypocrites in your hearts when you sent me to the LORD your God, saying, ‘Pray for us to the LORD our God, and according to all that the LORD your God says, so declare to us and we will do it.’ 21 And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, or anything which He has sent you by me. 22 Now therefore, know certainly that you shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to dwell.”

    Jeremiah 42

    1. Dear Marcel.

      Shalom.

I agree that many Christians, not practice what they preach. We all need to be ready for the ultimate sacrifice for our Master Jesus.

Still, we must hold on to the fundamental doctrine, that man is saved by faith alone, in Jesus alone, separated from works.

Not all Christians will be martyred, still we all have to be ready. Not all Christians will end up in prison, still we all have to be ready to be jailed to preach to the inmates. Let the will of our Father in Heaven prosper in the hands of His Son. Let us all do what is required.

Be ready for both the rapture and more severe persecution, any day, every day.
