Likud members oppose Palestinian State

Three quarters of Likud members believe PM should wait until fate of Muslim uprisings before taking steps towards the Palestinians.

Benjamin Netanyahu is under pressure. His own party wants more Zionism, Washington wants less.

Three quarters of Likud members believe that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu should wait until the fate of uprisings in the Muslim world becomes clearer before he takes any steps toward the Palestinians.

This is the verdict in a Ma’agar Mohot poll sponsored by the Council of Jewish Communities in Judea, Samaria and the Gaza Strip revealed on Thursday.

The poll found that 78 per cent of the members oppose the creation of a Palestinian state, 92 per cent favor restarting construction in settlement blocs in Judea and Samaria, and 95 per cent oppose dividing Jerusalem.

The poll of 821 Likud members representing a relatively large statistical sample of the membership had a 4 percentage point margin of error and was conducted in mid-March. But the council did not release the numbers until now, because they would have been overshadowed by other news developments.

My comment:

It is an encouragement to see that conservative Jews hold on to the principles set before them by God of the Bible.

1. The Jews are the caretakers of the Mountains of Zion. Not the Muslims.

2 Jews have a right to build, work and live in the Jewish districts of Judea and Samaria.

3. Jerusalem can not and shall not be divided. This city is the capital of the state of Israel.

That the World can can accept these Biblical principles, is a part of a spiritual disaster.  Even within claimed to be Christianity, there are leaders and laymen that have become the very enemies of God.

They will all land up in Zion, just to face judgment. They very much claimed to know ” a Jesus”, but He never knew them. Nor did they do the will of God of Israel, who is our Father in Heaven.

Matthew 7:21
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
