Bible studie: # 33: Watch out: Do the will of the Father and turn your TV off

Jesus warns us about the end times being full of apostasy, deception and falsehood promoted as Christianity. Plenty of false «super-Apostles» are with us today. On TV. 24X7.

Many claimed to be Christians watch TV, like they believed God is living inside the box.

False Christians are promoting a Global end time revival, based on fleshy desires, prosperity and wealth. But the Bible explains to us that the radical opposite will happen.

Matthew 7:13-14.

“Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

The last days will be filled with deception, and fake and falsehood promoted as the true faith. Some of the true Christians who warns against the deception of the last days, will be persecuted and put to death. Just like the Old testament prophets, who warned Israel about false prophets. Jesus warned us in advance:

Matthew 24:4

Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ’ and will deceive many.

Mark 13:22
For false Christ’s and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible.

Matthew 24:9

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

One of the false prophecies that have become popular, is the belief that «a billion new TV watching souls being saved» in our days. The main culprit for this promotion of falsehood, in «God-TV». This claimed to be Christian TV channel gives unlimited access to «Charismania», the promoters of the false gospel of «health and wealth», and all kinds of occult practices that is polluting the body of the Messiah. This «end time revival» is the global gathering of the supporters of the last false-Messiah.

The Lakeland deception was a part of this outpouring of a false spirit. Lakeland is already forgotten. New deceptions are present, and surely more falsehood is in the pipeline.

Jesus speaks about the end times being the season of deception and false teaching. Jesus honors some Churches that tests all spirits, and rebukes false teachers.

God-TV claimes to represent God. But the messages from this TV-giant is full of deception.

Revelation 2:2
I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.

The Jewish Apostle Paul warns us about the same apostasy. We shall face «miracle workers» that uses the name of Jesus, but have taken their powers from demons.

1 Timothy 4:1
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Who are these wicked men?

Some of them preach a Gospel of Jesus as an ATM Machine, that gives you returns on your money 30,50 or 100 times your investment.

They preach that perfect faith leads to perfect health.

People who teach such doctrines are Pharisees. Jesus told us to leave them, to have nothing to do with them.

They preach that «Jesus» gave us the instruction to live like Kings on the Earth. They tell us we are called to live a «life in abundance till it overflows».

They preach a New Age mantra of a «name-it-and-claim-it «Jesus», that can result in demonic manifestations, that will lead their students into occult practices.

Men who promote this kind of teaching are all thief’s and robbers. They will bind your money inside their pockets, and make you incapable of doing the will of our Father in Heaven. They will tell you that poverty is a curse, and make a mockery out of the first true apostolic Christianity. The first faithful believers were enjoying life without «silver and gold», and had absolutely no materialistic desires of this wicked, unjust and fallen World.

These men preach «serpent theology, a different «Jesus» based on a gospel invented by Satan.

2 Corinthians 11:3-5

But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. But I do not think I am in the least inferior to those «super-apostles»

These TV-based «Super Apostles» will eventually rob your salvation. In their thirst for miraculous powers, they have gone and prostituted them self with the power of demons.

They bring in filth from Hinduism, jerks and shaking, holy laughter and drunkenness from the demonic spirit of Kundalini, claiming this Spirit is the Holy Spirit. To be able to deceive people to walk with an unclean Spirit, they are giving honor to «Jesus». This movement in global.

Revelation 16:13-15

Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

Behold: I told you in advance.

There are still plenty of good Christian TV-programs, and many disabled and elderly people are restricted to their homes.

But for the rest of my readers: Turn God-TV off.

Because you have to GO and do the will of the Father.

Share all that you have, always forgive and preach the good news to the poor. Anoint the sick, and pray for their healing. Do not walk in the flesh, and do not store up riches on Earth. True followers of Jesus are pilgrims on Earth, aliens and strangers in this fallen World.

When you do the will of the Father, miracles and wonders shall follow in your footsteps. Amen.

  1. A very interesting blog! Having just stumbled upon your site I don’t know what your position is on the rapture but I’m curious as to why you feel there will be no true revival at some future time perhaps prior to it.

      1. Dear Alton.

There is a true revival going on, but it is not covered by the media. These are the tens of thousands of martyrs that died last year. In Countries like Nigeria, Sudan, Iran, Saudi Arabia Indonesia, China, India and Libya. The persecuted Church has always represented the one and only true Church of Jesus, and the gates of Hell have ever been able to overcome it!

There have never been more persecuted and killed Christians on planet Earth than today. People who wants to tell others the truth about the great apostasy thats going on in the Western World, will also be persecuted. There will come days were also they will be imprisoned and even killed.

      2. I agree with you Ivar true revival is going on where the main stream media rarely talks about it. I’ve heard about revival about in Eygpt, Iraq, many African countries, North Korea, China and even Israel. Author Joel Rosenberg talks about stories where Muslims are getting visions about Jesus in Syria, Iraq, Iran. Its awesome. I even read in the Jerusalem post that 15,000 jews in Israel accepted Jesus as the messiah this year but I also sadly read that there is different forms of verbal persecution and outcast amongst jewish converts in Israel. I hope there not.

Look at how prayer is being attacked in every form by the ACLU in America.
In America Christians who truely desire the second coming are few and far between. I think that church congregations in America are shrinking. The church in general in America is blind to bible prophecy. I just started attending a new church in Denver thats small but has a fire to serve. Its great. Colorado is truely blessed with many really good churches.

      3. Dear Richard.

        Shalom.

        You wrote:

        My reply:

I had a Muslim woman in full burka walking into my office in Ramzan. I was filled with fear for a second. It could have been Osama ‘the Great” who had come to take me to the undertaker….

This lady accepted Jesus, and picked up a Urdu New Testament.

She came back with swollen lips. Her father had beaten her black and blue, for accepted the “Christian God”. We anointed her with oil, prayed for her healing, and she was healed almost in an instant. All glory to Jesus the Messiah, who created her, and called her into His Kingdom.

Later i heard that, the father had found the New Testament and thrown it into the gutter. But the lady is saved. She is a Muslim that has become a secret follower of Jesus.

The problem for such new born babies, is that they can not attend “Church”. They fall outside of our statistics, that incorrectly count Christians after how many people obey a pastor or a priest. But our ultimate goal is not to build “a Church”: But to join Jesus as co-workers to populate the Kingdom of Heaven.

      4. Ivar:

You wrote: We anointed her with oil, prayed for her healing, and she was healed almost in an instant. All glory to Jesus the Messiah, who created her, and called her into His Kingdom.

My Comment: This makes me so happy. Jesus Christ saves, heals, and he does so much more. The love we feel from our Messiah is tremendous once we accept him.

God Bless you Ivar for the work you do in Christ.

  2. Amen! and Shalom to you! I too believe that there is a great move of the Holy Spirit happening,as you said it is mostly in places other than the U.S. I am however greatly encouraged by the increasing number of home based church’s where people are truly interested in worshiping in the spirit, making disciples and empowering the saints.

    1. Dear Alton.

I agree with your brother. I see that Jesus have already started to separate the sheep from the goats. True spirit filled followers of Jesus are getting more radical, and seeks smaller House Church group´s. The lukewarm Church are finding a lot of excuses for doing hardly anything. They store up riches on Earth, and moves around seeks their own blessings. God-TV are one of the main culprits that derails the Church, and leads it astray.

  3. Ivar do you think Israels gas find is a prophectic prophecy come true according to “Asher’s Oil Prophecy and Deuteronomy 33:24-25?”

    1. Dear Richard.

      Shalom.

      You asked:

do you think Israels gas find is a prophectic prophecy come true according to “Asher’s Oil Prophecy

      My reply:

Deut 33:24-25 includes the line: “and let him bathe his feet in oil”. (NIV).

In good old King James: “and let him dip his foot in oil”.

In the next lines: “Thy shoes shall be iron and brass”.

The modern state of Israel is a fulfillment of multiple prophecies. May be also this. I have not reflected on this issue. But to embalm peoples feel in oil, was a ritual for the rich and famous in ancient Israel. Today, Israel is the most bright statehood in the Middle East. Some billions gallons of crude oil and plenty of natural gas will surely add to the success story.

  4. I do agree with your article, what bugs me the most about these stations is that they are no different than the money changers in the temple when our King drove them out. If they truly believe what they say then they should sell all they have and give it to the poor with the gosple in hand, then see if it is blessed by God, if it is, He will raise it up again. What really rips me is the selling of the Word and End Time events at a astronomical price, we are in the last days and the word and information pertaining to these last days should be freely given that many might wake up and be saved, not sold for a price.

    1. I agree with you AWatchman4Him. Information should be free gively but its not. The church has become a form of greed not grace. Sadly I think MEGA churches get too caught up in their buildings, their schools, their guest speakers are and what muscial guests are booked at their churches. Its almost as if the church as become a slave to what the congregation wants to hear not what the congreation needs to hear that may affend.

Look at Robert Schuller his church “The Crystal Cathedral” filed for ch 11 bk 1 million of which was owed to his staffers but he paid his family first. How is that right?

Look at Joel Osteen’s mega million empire. Joel never preaches from the prophets or Matthew 24 or the book of Revelations concerning the last of days. He also never promotes any forms of charities or missions?
      Wheres all that money going?

Tim Layhae charges $20 dollars a month to get the “pre trib research journal” He just had his annual Pre Trib Bible Prophecy convention in Dallas $179 for the weekend? It is so frustrating. He is also constantly trying to sell his bible prophecy handbook. How much money is too much money Tim Lahaye? He and his partner sold over 66 million books.
If he really thought Jesus was coming back shortly wouldnt you think he would give it away?

I guess thats why I respect Joel Rosenberg. He is one of the few authors trying to help Israel with the Joshua Fund. His books fund his mission which is also his charity.

  5. I agree with this article wholeheartedly. Especially as someone who almost fell for the name it and claim it bunch. I watched them regularly for at least three years. One by one God showed me that they were teaching heresy. His revealing the truth to me began when I heard Creflo Dollar and his wife claim that we were equal to God. How absurd. I stopped watching him and gradually realized that all the others I was watching were false too. I praise God that He saved me out of that mess. Since then I regularly pray for God to protect me from deception.

I notice that you quote from Paul when he said “But I do not think I am in the least inferior to those «super-apostles»” He says this right after speaking about them believing a different gospel than the one he preached. Don’t you think this is a little odd? There were no TV apostles in Paul’s day. The apostles he is referring to are Jesus’ apostles, the ones He picked during His earthly ministry. It appears that he subtly berated them again in Galatians 2:9 when he says they “SEEMED to be pillars” And were they (Jesus’ apostles) preaching a different gospel? I believe they were. They were teaching the one that they were taught by the Messiah Himself for the 3.5 years that He was with them every day. The 3.5 years where they were taught by Him that not one jot or tittle would pass from the Law til all was fulfilled. The 3.5 years where they observed the feasts appointed by God, and observed the Sabbath, which is the seventh day of the week, not the first. Paul later says (later as in after Jesus ascended into heaven, after He had ALREADY picked His apostles to represent Him)in Romans 14:5 that “One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.” So according to Paul it seems that we are to simply do as we please. Some preachers say that the Law and Sabbath keeping is for Israel only. The Lord hallowed the Sabbath day from the beginning of creation, before there ever was an Israel.

So it appears to me that Paul is the one who is preaching a different gospel. Indeed, many times, over and over again, Paul refers to it as “my gospel”. If he is preaching the true gospel, would it not be the Lord’s gospel? But over and over again, Paul says, “my gospel”

This, along with many other verses where Paul boasts about himself, especially in Colossians 1:24 where Paul claims to “fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:” Did you get that?? Paul claims that Christ’s sufferings were lacking and that he (Paul) filled up that which was behind for the church’s sake! It is for these reasons and many others that can be found in the Bible that I am very leary of the so called “apostle” Paul.

You should be too. Pray about it. Ask Almighty God to show you the truth regarding Paul. It is not blasphemous to question Paul. We are supposed to be careful when it comes to what we believe.

And lest you think that God would not allow Paul’s writings to be in the Bible if he was a false apostle, consider this:

    1. I dont like correcting people, however your interprutation of Paul is flawed. Please dont think I am slamming you, I am not! Just want to help with your questions.. Pauls Gospel was that given to him by the Lord Jesus Christ, to preach the gospel to the “gentiles”, he was selected by Jesus to be the next apostle and while the other apostles ( the 11 ) didn’t know Jesus did this they appointed there next apostle to replace judas and they did this by casting lots which is a Jewish tradition to do when they dont know what to do, it is there way to let God decide for them. Pauls gospel is that given to him by Christ to the gentiles and not of the Law. The apostles were to teach the Jews first then the gentiles but they were afraid and hid themselves, they did not obey, eventually they did but at a price.

The things Paul is boasting about are the afflictions and trials he faced, not of his works or to make himself equal to Christ, he didn’t see himself worthy to suffer for Christ. Romans is a difficult book to understand and to understand it one needs a good verse by verse teacher or a good concordance with Hebrew and Greek translations, I believe most of Pauls writings were written in Greek and done in prison. Anyways, your right Paul is preaching a different gospel, one given to him by Christ for the gentiles, not the Jews and for the law, he preached this new gospel to let the unbelievers know we are saved by grace through faith, not by the law for no man could and Christ knew that, that’s why He died for us and set us free from the Law, that’s the new gospel. Jesus is Awesome because I would be a crispy critter if I had to live by the law.

The seven churches that are in Revelation are the churches that were in Pauls time, the ones he taught at, they are the same in Revelation and are present through all generations of the church age. There are the loveless churchs, greedy churchs, luke warm churches and on and on, you can find them ( the same type of Church ) in Pauls days as you can today and as will be in the tribulation.

Your questions are WELCOMED AND WANTED, so ask and pray that God the revealer of all things shows us all things and soon. Plese check out Hebrews 11:6
      Love in Christ !!!
Sorry for the bad spelling !

      1. AWatchman4Him,

Do I understand you right when you say Paul taught one kind of gospel to the Gentiles, while Peter and the other apostles taught a different gospel to the Jews? If that is what you are saying…it is not true that Jews and Gentiles have different gospels. There is only one gospel of Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,

Acts 10:36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

Romans 3:22 This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference,

Romans 3:30 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.

Colossians 3:11 Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.

    2. susyjo says:

“It appears that he subtly berated them again in Galatians 2:9 when he says they “SEEMED to be pillars””

When you come across a scripture that is hard to understand…it is good to check on what other translations say.
NIV and NASB (among other translations) say they were “reputed to be pillars.”
The very passage itself shows that Paul was not putting James, Peter and John down, for Paul was using them to show that he was accepted as an apostle!
God bless you. Hope I have helped you better understand.

      1. Dear Victoria.

        Shalom.

From Paul’s letter to the Church in Corinth.

t….o another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

My take on this is that Paul was a learned man, who spoke many of the languages in the Middle East. There was surely learned men available, who could de-code all of them.

Why was there a need to ask The Holy Spirit to give men the gift of de-coding such messages?

If we take this kind of logic to the gift of Healing, we must agree that the medical systems 2.000 years ago were fare from perfect. Even today the gift of Healing is needed, since Doctors give up on people who they seems not able to heal.

Why should such a gift of Healing cease to function? It should have done so, if The closure of the Bible cannon is what Paul speaks about, as the “perfection” that will come?

Since there also were a need to de-code dreams and vision, like the messages Daniel got, and those Joseph de-coded inside the prison in Egypt, you should not reject that even messages in tongues needs to be de-coded. Even today, there is a need to de-code visions and dreams that comes to spirit filled Christians in multiple fellowships around the Globe.

This is what Paul explains, and I take his message and teachings at face value.

      2. Dear all readers.

        Shalom.

I just spammed Dzul. This is a short version of his last message, that are of a kind that will not be tolerated.

        WANT TO JOIN THE WAR
AS A QUICK WAY TO DEATH FOR RABBIES WITH THEIR HOLYSHIT BOOKS

Muslims who are filled with this kind of garbage, needs to get a clean up. That can only be done by Jesus the Son of God, who can wash them in His blood, and save them.

        My comment:
I think maybe you wrote this to me under the wrong topic?
As for Paul saying someone is to interpret the tongues – that is because when no one was around to understand what was said by the tongue speaker, then someone should interpret, otherwise they should remain quiet. The people in Corinth were acting like children with this gift. Paul explained that it is unfruitful to speak in a languages that they don’t understand.

    3. Victoria, I knew someone was not going to get what I was trying to say. The gospel to be preached is the same for the apostles as it is for you and me and Paul, the gospel of Jesus Christ is not The Torah or the law, although He is mentioned in them the Jews still could not see Him in it. The Gospels were in the midst of being written and therefore no one had them as yet. The Law was (simply put) the old Gospel, the new gospels are those of Christ’s Salvation, by grace through faith. The Apostles were to go to the Jews first and then the gentiles. Paul to the gentiles only. While there is no difference between Jew and gentile in Christs eyes the jews didn’t see it that way so thats why Jesus had the apostles preach to the jews because they were jews and paul to the gentiles because he was both a Jew and a Roman citizen, the gentles and the Jews could both relate to paul. I could keep going but I think I made It clear enough, I hope. Thanks!

      1. Dear AWatchman4Him

        Shalom.

        You wrote:

        My reply:

You are wrong. The Bible is one book from A to Z. Jesus is the Torah, that became flesh. If there is no Torah, there is no Jesus. The Jesus of the New Testament Only, is a dangerous copy cat. He is a rebel, used by people who do not even read the Old Testament. Than you fail to read 75 per cent of the Bible, and miss out on thousands of promises God has given man. You also miss out that Jesus came to fulfill and up hold these promises, and fulfill every sentence in the prophetic Words.

Jesus had no New Testament to quote from. The Bible Jesus read from in the Synagogues, were the Old Testament. Funny that many of his claimed followers have no idea why He came, and what He was suppose to do.

      2. ivarfjeld

Jesus is Lord, Jesus is God, he didn’t need a New Testament, He is the Author of both Old “Torah” and New Testaments. There are 66 books in the Bible and 40 authors all inspired by God who is the Great “I AM”. My King died on the cross for me and all men that through Him we all might have life. If you sin in one area of the Law you are guilty of all of them. He set us free from the Law because no man could fullfill the Law, so He came down as a man to do what we could not and be the sacrifice for our sins (He is the Passover Lamb)- “see Isaiah 53 and Psalms 22” (if your willing to be open) and without this all men are lost in there sins and destined for eternal seperation from God. Jesus came to set ALL men Free !!!

      3. Dear AWatchman4Him.

        Shalom.

        You wrote:

        My reply:

Yes, I agree on that. But He did not set us free from the Law, so we could become, or continue to be:

        1. Law breakers.

        2. Lawless men.

Jesus fulfilled the Law, by taking the capital punishment we all deserve. If Jesus came and took your place in the prison, you are not free to leave, and do whatever you like. In Him, you are no longer a slave of lawlessness and sins. You have become a slave of Jesus, and will surely Obey Him as He obeyed the laws.

If you skip the Old Testament, you will not know the laws of God. Like the 10 commandments. The sacrifice instructions to the priests of Aaron and Levi, have been changed. But the Law is very much alive, and valid.

      4. ivarfjeld,

It’s Dark 30 here (Late) Let me respond Tomorrow. Enjoyed the conversation so far, until Tomorrow my friend! God Bless!!!

  6. Oops! I guess I accidently hit enter or something! Any way, consider this:

    1. God put 2 trees in the garden of Eden. The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Adam and Eve had to choose. But God is the one who put 2 different trees there.

    2. In 1 Kings 13 there are 2 men of God. One is told to go to Jeroboam and prophesy and not to eat or drink anything while he is in that place. Another man of God goes to him and says, “I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.” Sadly, the first man of God did as God had specifically told him not to because the other man of God told him differently. He suffered death for it.

    3. In Deuteronomy chapter 13:3 we are told, when we are enticed to serve other gods, “Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” Did you catch that? The LORD proves us to see whether or not we love Him with all our heart and soul. Jesus said if we love Him we will obey Him. He and His Father are One.

    4. When Paul tells us to obey “his gospel” and that all days are alike (in other words, the Sabbath bears no special significance), that he has to complete with his own sufferings that which was “behind in Christ’s sufferings”, when he berates the very apostles who were chosen specifically by Jesus, when he tells us that it is ONLY by grace we are saved and that works mean nothing, he is indeed preaching ANOTHER GOSPEL than the one Jesus preached!

    5. Over and over again in the book of Revelation we are told that those who “overcome” will be saved. When Paul says there is “none righteous, no not one” he is misquoting and taking out of context Psalm 14. Psalm 14 is speaking of those fools who say there is no God. Of THOSE people there is none righteous. A simple look through your concordance into the word “righteous” will show you that there are many people who God Himself calls righteous. Now, I’m not saying we can be righteous in and of ourselves. Of course not! By the time we come to know that we need a Saviour we have already committed far too many sins to count! But 1 John 3:9 tells us that those who are born of God do not commit sin. Paul would have us to believe that we are not able to stop sinning.

I am very, very leary of the so called “apostle Paul. I ask you to pray and ask God to show you the truth about him.

One more thing. In 2 Timothy 1:15 Paul says that all those in Asia have turned away from him. Ephesus is in Asia. In Revelation 2:2 the church at Ephesus is commended: “and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:” Is God speaking of Paul here? Ask Him.

    1. Susyo,

You wrote: I am very, very leary of the so called “apostle Paul. I ask you to pray and ask God to show you the truth about him.

My Comment: Paul was direct by the Holy Spirit which means what he wrote was and is the Word fo God. To say you are leary of the apostle Paul, is to say you are leary of the Word of God. I suggest you re-read what Christ directed Paul to write, and study it.

You cannot just say Paul said: “there is “none righteous, no not one” without quoting the whole Word of God.

What the Bible says is this:

      Romans 3
      God’s Faithfulness
1 What advantage, then, is there in being a Jew, or what value is there in circumcision? 2 Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God.
3 What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? 4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar. As it is written:

“So that you may be proved right when you speak
      and prevail when you judge.”[a]

5 But if our unrighteousness brings out God’s righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.) 6 Certainly not! If that were so, how could God judge the world? 7 Someone might argue, “If my falsehood enhances God’s truthfulness and so increases his glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?” 8 Why not say—as some slanderously claim that we say—“Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is just!

      No One Is Righteous
9 What shall we conclude then? Do we have any advantage? Not at all! For we have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under the power of sin. 10 As it is written:
      “There is no one righteous, not even one;
      11 there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
      12 All have turned away,
      they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
      not even one.”[b]
      13 “Their throats are open graves;
      their tongues practice deceit.”[c]
“The poison of vipers is on their lips.”[d]
14 “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”[e]
      15 “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16 ruin and misery mark their ways,
17 and the way of peace they do not know.”[f]
18 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”[g]

      Romans continues here:
      Righteousness Through Faith
21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in[h] Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. 25 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement,[i] through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished— 26 he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

So you see on Earth we are all sinners, but Paul said in verse 22 This righteousness is given through faith in[h] Jesus Christ to all who believe.

      God Bless

How can you say as a christian, if you are a christian that we should be very very leary of “Apostle Paul”?

    Thats nonsense!

  8. ivarfjeld,

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner! Dont think that I’m some sort of heritic, I think you are misunderstanding me. The “Law” is vital, is necessary, and is Good. Because man breaks the law both man’s laws and God’s law’s there is the penalty for breaking it, the penalty for breaking God’s law is death, Christ came and fullfilled the law by being perfect and not sinning and became the “Passover Lamb” in our place so that we, by accepting him and His free gift of salvation might live, but only if we except Him. The law is always needed. I hope you understand what I’m saying and that, we are basicly saying the same thing just coming at it from two different angles. So to sum it up He did not set us free from the Law so we could do whatever we want. What I have been trying to say is He set us free from the punishment for breaking the law, if we except Him as our Savior. I took it for granted that you would understand what I was trying to say and for that I’m sorry.

      My reply:

We are totally in agreement. This is the hard core of Biblical Christianity. The sad story, is that thousands of pastors and priest, simply do not get it.

  9. In the last days there will be a lot of deception. You will hear people like Susyo, who try to cast doubt on the Bible or its writers. God gave the Bible to us because we are going to be judged by it. We need to read it and know what it says, and believe it. Paul was called by God and He used him to plant many churches and give us most of the New Testament. Paul knew the beloved brothers, so did Peter.

Col 4:9 With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.

    2Pe 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

If someone says Paul wasn’t a beloved brother in the Lord I would have doubt about that person, not Paul. Peter also warns people,

2Pe 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
