My comment:
The sentence of the former Israeli President to jail, is a sad day for the state of Israel.
But it is not a sad day for justice, human rights and respect for the court of Law.
Where else in the Middle East would it be possible to get a President on trial and convicted?
Israel is surely unique in the region. Elsewhere in the Middle East there is dictatorship and Middle Age style of despotism.
Lets pray for the Jewish nation, that Israel will continue to be a light for the people who live in darkness in the Middle East.
And not to forget. Jesus in the light of the World. Even the Jews needs to submit to their Messiah.
John 9:4-6
As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
