“Please, first try to solve the Iranian problem, then our willingness to take risks and solve the Palestinian problem will be a lot greater,”
This was the reply from Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman in reply to EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton. The EU leader had arrive in Israel, to put pressure on the Jewish state to “solve the Palestinian problem”.
Catherine Ashton said that the recent political upheaval in the region provided a “moment to try and make progress, rather than stand still and reflect” adding her belief that if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict were resolved it would go a long way towards relieving tensions in region.
In another diplomatic development, Turkey on Tuesday reiterated its insistence that Israel must issue an apology for the killing of nine pro-Palestinian activists during the May 2010 Mavi Marmara flotilla incident.
“We expect that the UN investigation will be balanced, and that Israel and Turkey will get out of it what we are seeking,” a Turkish diplomat told reporters in Ankara.
“An apology and compensation, however, constitute a red line for us. We cannot forget the loss of life of those nine people. Israel is our friend, and if a friend errs, they must apologize”.
What value will a “peace agreement” with Ramallah have?
Hamas will continue to fire rockets into Israel, and demand the destruction of the Jewish state.
Iran will continue to build a nuclear bomb. They do not build a nuclear bomb, because Israel has not signed a “peace agreement” with the Arab Palestinians.
Since Jesus is not in the picture, His name not mentioned by the “peace makers”, the peace these men might be able to provide, will not last.
Jesus the truth, has something to tell us.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
There can never be “peace”, where the Prince of Peace is not honored. He is God. Man are fools.
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Both Avigdor Lieberman and Cathrine Ashton live in error. Either you try to solve the “Iranian problem” or the “Palestinian problem” first, there will not be peace. Only “false peace”, followed by betrayal of the Jewish state inside the rule of the final Anti-Christ. Than Jesus will return and solve “all matters”. Hell is an absolute surety for the ungodly. The Kingdom of Heaven, belongs to those who honor the Son.
