The president of the Lutheran World Federation, Bishop Munib Younan wants to celebrate “Holy Communion” with the Pope.
Bishop Younan has said before meeting Pope Benedict XVI that their churches should issue a common statement on Holy Communion to mark the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation that Martin Luther began in 1517.
“Our [the Lutheran federation’s] intention is to arrive at 2017 with a common Roman Catholic-Lutheran declaration on eucharistic hospitality,” Younan told the Italian Protestant news agency NEV the day before his 16 December audience with the Pope.
In a speech at his meeting with Younan, Pope Benedict praised the progress that he said had taken place in Catholic-Lutheran dialogue but did not make any reference to the bishop’s Eucharist proposal.
“Eucharistic hospitality” means that Catholics would be able to receive Communion at a Lutheran celebration of the Lord’s Supper, and Lutherans would be able to do the same at a Catholic Mass. Catholic doctrine currently forbids such bilateral acceptance.
The Second Vatican Council, held from 1962 to 1965, said that Protestants, “did not keep the genuine and integral substance of the eucharistic mystery”.
On 31 October 1517, Martin Luther published 95 theses critical of the papacy, which set in train the Lutheran Reformation. In 1999, the Catholic Church and the LWF signed a joint declaration on the doctrine of justification (how a person is saved), which was one of the main points of contention between Catholics and Lutherans in the 16th century.
At the audience with Bishop Younan, Pope Benedict described the 1999 declaration as, “a significant step along the difficult path towards re-establishing full unity among Christians and a stimulus to further ecumenical discussion”.
The Pope added, “In these years leading up to the 500th anniversary of the events of 1517, Catholics and Lutherans are called to reflect anew on where our journey towards unity has led us and to implore the Lord’s guidance and help for the future.”
Younan is bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land, based in Jerusalem.

My comment:
There are a few things that the Lutheran Movement do not mention in their bid for full union with Rome.
1. Will the Pope accept the Bible as the highest and supreme authority in matters of faith.
If not, what kind of Union can there be?
2. Will the Pope stop to worship idols, skull, bones and corpses?
If not, what kind of Union can there be?
What does light and darkness have in common?
3. Will the Pope announce the humanity of the Jewish mother of Jesus. That she was born with sin, had children, and is not the pagan Queen of Heaven?
If not: The “Lutheran Catholics” have corrupted their faith, and sails on the same ship of fools as the Pontiff.

I am in full agreement with your comments. The true Church of Jesus Christ will NEVER accept the rule of the Pagan Pope and the Vatican. America is asleep at the switch and completely unaware or cares about what is going on with the Pope. Remember, just a few weeks ago the Pope went to England and met with leaders of the Anglican Church. I’m sure they discussed much about church unification over tea!

If yes. Where in the Bible, have you found permission to use such a name on her?

There are more but no need to go on. So, if this was his view, why do guys like Bishop Younan call themselves Lutheran. Are they trying to convert the pope or has the pope converted them?
Are Martin Luther’s views taught in Lutheran schools? I showed this to a 14 year old girl and asked her what she thought. Her reply, “Makes no sense”.
It reaaly doesn’t make sense in the outward appearance. I wonder if the average Lutheran even knows or thinks about things like this?

Is it possible for all men to be saved today, and not have to go to Purgatory?
Is Jesus the only God that can save, or is “Allah”, “Buddha”, and “Krishna” also able to save souls, and bring them to the Kingdom of Heaven?

Mary is not God the Holy Spirit. Jesus said: “The Kingdom of God is within you”. I also have the Holy Spirit within me, but I do commit mistakes. I do sin. The Holy Spirit corrects me when I sin, and tell me to repent. The Holy Spirit do not need to repent.
Your claim about the Jewish virgin who gave birth to Jesus is a big lie. You worship fiction, and demon that has taken the full Roman Catholic Church for a ride. And that ride will take you to hell.
Like me, Mary of the Bible was a sinner. This is the truth. You worship, adore and venerate a created being. I worship the Creator, and only Him.
Renounce this falsehood. Say “Jesus forgive me. Forever more I will pray in your name ONLY”.

This is major Ivar. Will post this story on my blog today. The New Evangelization is the plan of the Vatican to have all faiths under the Eucharist and this is the beginning. For the Vatican to allow communion with Lutherans is HUGE.

A few thoughts to consider and pray about.
Christ established one church, it has continued through the service of humble men and women throughout the centuries, cooperating with the Grace of God, just as our sinless mother was fully disposed to cooperate with God when called upon to be the Mother of God. We are all part of a loving family; We reverence each other. We see Christ in one another, and reverence Christ there, because it is to the human race (especially through baptism – e.g. Christians) that Christ united himself.
The problem with this Lutheran leader’s request is much larger then this fellow adds in his comments. Christ gave the apostles authority to celebrate the Eucharist. How do we know this? 2000 years of unbroken Tradition which was handed on by the apostles (the same tradition which created and affirmed the books of the bible – the tradition on which we rest in order to believe the books of the bible to be true, and others not true or less authoritative). That authority has not continued in the Lutheran communities. Therefore, their eucharist, while significant for individuals and indirectly for communities, is not being celebrated in the way and with the purpose and belief that Christ entrusted to His church, to the care of the apostles and a living tradition.
The scriptures are authoritative, but they would have little value if not for the living tradition that makes the Word of scripture real, and relevant. The scripture themselves didn’t drop out of heaven and tell someone that they were authoritative. There is no where in scripture that says, “I’m authoritative, and I include the following book…” Why not? Did Jesus forget something? No. Of course not. He established a Church, not a book. Thankfully the Bible is a ‘product’ of the church and proceeds from the church, not the other way around. The church wrote it (the Apostles and evangelists – as well as the prophets of old, of course), the church reads it and fills in the gaps in doctrine that were not explicit within it (indeed, the church is not dependent upon the bible for doctrine – though no true doctrine can contradict the Holy Bible – they are not all explicitly stated), and (only when in danger of being confused with other heretical non-apostolic, non-bibilical texts) the church defined which books belong to the Bible and which do not. Again, the Bible proceeds from the Church, not the other way around. There are many ‘churches’ who do not agree with one another That, nonetheless, claim the Bible as their sole rule of faith. Where does the problem lie? Are the scriptures therefore in error? No, of course not. The Scriptures are without error, but they must be read within the Tradition from which they proceed – they must be explained and interpreted by the church that Christ founded. Churches that proceed from the bible never look the same or believe the same things, because they have estranged themselves from the Tradition of the Apostles.
Many have a problem with the word tradition. Let us remember that the Apostle Paul passed on Tradition just as He received, and spoke of it in just this way:
“For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes. Therefore whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord.” – I Corinthians 11:23-27

My comment: The problem with this is the lie that you believe that Catholic or Rome had anything to do with the Word of God, with establishing the Jesus church. Catholics have taken verses to suit this lie, and many sadly too many believe it to be true. Yet, if one searched God, and left the catholic lies behind, they would believe God’s word completely, instead of the sins they commit everyday. And they commit these sins, the problem is thinking that Jesus is okay with this. He’s not nor will Jesus ever be.
