The Ahmadi Muslim sect has been suffering from incessant persecution, confiscation of property, and physical violence during the past year.
Muslims who follow the traditions of the Ahmadi Muslim sect is not prosecuted in Israel. They are prosecuted by their own Muslim brethren represented bt the so-called “Palestinian Authority”.
“We believe in a tolerant, friendly and rational Islam,” says Muhammad Sharif, head of the Ahmadis in Israel.
The Ahmadi Muslim sect, founded in 1889 in India, now numbers tens of millions of believers, mostly living outside the Arab world. Former Haifa Mayor Amram Mitzna notes that among this community there is “no incitement, violence, or feeling the need to conquer the whole world.”
Muhammad Jaabri, 46, of Hebron, a married father of four, explains:
“They have repeatedly written threats and curses on the walls of my house. They’ve burned my car twice, thrown rocks at my windows.”
A month ago Jaabri was attacked by a group of radical religious youth near his home.
“They beat me with clubs, and I was in the hospital for days.” After his release, “I went to the police to file a complaint and they sent me to PA security service investigators, where I was beaten again and jailed.”
Muhammad Alawi, 34, from Tulkarm, was summoned to a PA Sharia court with his wife, who is not from an Ahmadi family, where she was ordered to leave her husband and return with her three children to her own family, who had initiated the legal proceedings.

Within Christianity, there are many people who claim they follow the teachings of Jesus. But many of them make a mockery out of the Messiah. First and foremost because their life and actions prove them to be hypocrites.
Likewise within Islam, there are Muslims who claim they follow the teachings of Muhammad.
Muslims who are not involved in Jihad live in disobedience to the claimed to be Prophet. Because in the Koran, Muhammad calls his followers to cripple or kill all who do not believe in his messages.
There is not only one verse in the Koran that demands Jihad from all Muslims. There are more than 140 such verses.
So people who claim to be Muslims but do not want to indulge in violence are not followers of Islam, but their own religion. Because if there had not been a Koran, we would not have known the teaching of Muhammad. Because the Koran is the very teaching of the prophet, and the foundation of Islam.
