Female Anglican priests do not want to be minister of a God who is a “He”. God shall only be called “God”.

Reports in the media over the past 24 hours have suggested that permitted changes to the text of the 1982 Scottish Liturgy have altered the Church’s understanding of God.
Scottish Liturgy have altered the Church’s understanding of God. The Anglican Church has the following explanation:
“The suggested alternatives use language in a way that reflects everyday speech and writing. Since the 1982 Scottish Liturgy was drafted, conventions have changed concerning the use of words which express gender, and the Church is merely seeking to reflect these in its worship. No change in our understanding of God is taking place”.

My comment:
Is God “gender neutral”. Not according to Jesus, who is supposed to be the head of the Anglican Church.
Jesus explains to us, that God is His and our Father.
John 20:17.
Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’
The female “god” is a pagan God. She is often called the “Queen of Heaven”. The Bible bans us from using such a name for God the Father, or to suggest that He has a female god by his side.
A Church that “reflects everyday speech and writing” is anyhow not a Biblical Church. It has become more like a political party.

All I can say, is that is pathetic.
