Now it is official. Lutheran priest Olav Fykse Tveit has become a Papal knight, fighting for a Vatican takeover of the Old city of Jerusalem.

Norwegian Lutheran priest Olav Fykse Tveit is the Secretary General of the World Council of Churches.
During his last visit to Jerusalem, he was presented with the Cross of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre by Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem.
The Rev Dr Olav Fykse Tveit was visiting Jerusalem as part of a WCC delegation meeting with members of the WCC member churches in the region as well as with Jewish and Muslim leaders.
The Cross of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre is an honour awarded by the Greek Orthodox patriarch of Jerusalem and the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre. The name refers to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, built over the traditional site of Jesus’ tomb.
“Because of the Patriarchate’s role and witness, we fully endorse the work of the World Council of Churches and of your office, especially in the struggle for peace, justice and reconciliation,” Patriarch Theophilos said in a ceremony held at the offices of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate.

“The Patriarchate of Jerusalem is especially keen to assist you in your concern for lasting peace in the Middle East, for the well-being of all the people of the region, and for the ongoing presence of Christians in the Holy Land,” he said.
Patriarch Theophilos assured Tveit of the ongoing support of the Orthodox Church toward the WCC, saying the ecumenical movement is called to promote “unity without confusion” among churches.
Shortly before placing the cross around Tveit’s neck, the patriarch uttered this blessing:
“May this cross be a reminder to you of the daily death and resurrection that is the vocation of every Christian believer, and of the way of the cross that leads to the triumph of new life.”

“I receive this cross with humility and accept it as an honor intended for the World Council of Churches and our common efforts toward Christian unity,” Tveit said.
“The ecumenical movement is a movement of the cross, and this reminds me in a very clear way how the cross unites us in our faith and ministry.”
“May we carry the cross together, and may there be hope for the peace of Jerusalem in these days,” Tveit concluded.

My comment:
The cross of the order of the Holy Sepulchre is a knighthood. When you accept this order, you are the successor of the Papal Crusaders who concurred Jerusalem in 1095 A.D.
These men carrying crosses, were brutal killers, sent by the Pope of Rome on a religious military campaign. On their way to Jerusalem, they massacred Jews in European villages. They copied the message given them by Papal monks and priests who called the Jews “Christ killers”.
The Papal military control of Jerusalem lasted up to 1291 A.D. Than the butcher knights were thrown out of the City of David.
The Order of the Holy Sepulchre is a Papal order of knights that shall look after the “Holy places” in Jerusalem. The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate has already accepted new union with Rome, and the Pope as the head of a “United end time Church”.

One of the places the “United Papists” would like to concur is the Temple Mount. Their “Holy Father” in Italy would like to set up a throne in the “Temple”, symbolized by the dome of the Rock.
This time the The Roman “Holy Father” will not enter Jerusalem in the footsteps of brutal papal killers. Today Islam does this dirty work of intimidating the Jews. The “Holy Father” will come to Jerusalem as a plan that shall bring “lasting peace” to the “Holy land”.
Now a Lutheran priest has joined the knights that shall help the Pope. May God of the Bible have mercy on all Lutherans who support this falsehood.
Scary, but not unexpected.
Dear Lars-Toralf.
Shalom, and thanks for a quick line. If Rome is the mother of harlots, the harlots will surly return to the mother. Than the end shall come.
This is a great misunderstanding. The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem has nothing to do with this – and has never been under the Pope. The Order bestowed was an honour from the Greek Orthodox Patriarch, and has nothing to do with membership in any group.
Dear Olav Fykse Tveit.
Shalom, and welcome to this site.
I hope and pray that you really are the Head of World Council of Churches. Please send me an email and confirm.
If you are the person you claim to be, it is nothing but amazing that you do not know what kind of Order you have accepted. I will suggest you return it as quickly as possible.

Hello Everyone,
The information being presented is incorrect. He did not recieve membership in the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem that is under the protection of the Vatican. Nor, did he receive the Croos of teh Byzantine Order of the Holy Sepulchre (refer to the pictures and examine the decorations shown).
What he did receive was the Knight’s Grand Cross of the Holy Sepulchre that is a decoration of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate’s Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre. This is definitely not a Roman-Catholic Order of Chivalry.
Thanks!

Cheers!
At the above referenced site look under “ORDER OF THE ORTHODOX PATRIARCHATE OF JERUSALEM”
What is even more interesting is that Yeshua of course weren’t buried at “The (un)holy sepulchre” but in a cave, on the top of the Mount of Olives, where he also was crucified. This cave is most likely presently inside the confines of the “Pater Noster Church”.
The Order that Norwegian Lutheran priest Olav Fykse Tveit received is an Orthodox Order from the Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem who is NOT in communion with Rome or the Pope. The Latin Patriarch Fouad Twal is the “Roman Catholic Patriarch of Jerusalem and is the representative of the Pope and he is the Grand Prior of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher which is a Catholic Order and NOT the order the Lutheran Minister received. You should Google “The Equestrian Order of The Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem” and educate your self so you don’t look foolish. There has been a “schism” between the eastern and western churches since 1054 and the Orthodox church takes no orders from the Pope.
