Hirsi Ali: Muslims will be better off believing in Jesus

She told Fareed Zakaria on CNN that 1,5 billion Muslims would be better off with Jesus Christ as their God.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali was a member of the Dutch Parliament for four years.

It was sparkles on CNN on Sunday afternoon. Ayaan Hirsi Ali did not say she has become a “Christian”. But live on TV she said that Islam brings nothing good.

“Muslims would become better off if they leave Islam, and comes under a better moral system with Jesus as God. His message is all about love”, said Hirsi Ali.

Who is this Muslim woman?

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Somali woman who grew up in Kenya, Saudi Arabia and Ethiopia. Reading about her life gives the Western reader insights into Somali clan heritage and civil war, female genital excision, the restrictions on women in Saudi Arabia, and the magnetic pull of Islamic fundamentalism.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali has left the religion of Islam, and calls her self a humanist.

In Kenya, she grew even more devout in Islam, wearing the most concealing garment she could find while attending meetings where earnest young people studied the radical ideas of the Muslim Brotherhood.

However, the books she read in her youth were all permeated with revolutionary Western ideas; for example, even in Nancy Drew she encountered an independent heroine free to act without the permission and supervision of men.

“Most of all, I think it was the novels that saved me from submission,” she writes in her book “Infidel”.  Despite her objections, her father signed a contract to marry her to a Canadian Somali man.

Passing through Europe on her way to Canada, she escaped from her relatives and applied for asylum in Holland. Dutch life was a revelation to her: the equality of women, conflict resolution through negotiation rather than force, and the fact that society functioned seamlessly without any reference to God.

Observing the peace and prosperity of a non-Islamic society challenged her life-long assumptions. Her work as a Dutch-Somali translator took her into the dark corners of Holland—police stations, women’s shelters, clinics—where she came to recognize the consistent pattern of abuse of Muslim women by husbands and fathers.

Hirsi Ali has left Islam, searching for the truth.

After the World Trade Center terrorist attacks, Ali concluded that the ideas which led to militant Islam and the oppression of women came from the Koran itself, not from external radical influences.

As she began to reject Islam and speak out about the cruel treatment of Muslim women in Holland, a Dutch political group invited her to run as a candidate for Parliament.

Her election and high-profile opinions brought death threats and bodyguards, but Theo Van Gogh, with whom she created a film protesting the position of women in Islam, refused protection and was assassinated.

A challenge to the legality of her Dutch citizenship caused her to emigrate to the US, where she is a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank.

My comment: I hope this leads her into accepting Jesus Christ as her savior.

    Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

    1. Dear Gloria.

Shalom, and thanks for blessing all the readers.

The difference between Islam and true Christianity in regards to Jesus is simple: Do God the Father has a Son that is equally God? Islam denies the divinity of Jesus, reduces Him to a prophet. In the other end of he specter of errors, we have the Catholic religion. They reject the humanity of Jesus, born by a goddess. In the end they will agree, and follow a false Messiah.

      1. Jesus is the express image of the father. He is God personified. That the mistry too hard to understand. For further clarification, visit the bible.

      2. Dear Audu.

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

Please share with us the verses from the Bible that tells us that Jesus is God.

      3. Ivarfjeld,

I’m slightly confused on your view. Do you believe Jesus is God?

John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.”

Isaiah 44:6 This is what the LORD says—Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty: I am the first and I am the last; apart from me there is no God.

      4. Dear Gloria.

Shalom, and thanks for this question:

        Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

I hope you believe Jesus is God to. Father, Son, and Spirit is One God. Three in One.

      5. Thanks for clarifying Ivarfjeld. Yes, I definitely believe. I apologize for that. I guess I was slightly confused on my part.

        God Bless.

  2. Protestants behind Zion are tellin the Israelies to believe in Jesus, too. Somethin about gettin it straight at the last minuet r somethin’. or else.

    1. Dear Matt

Shalom, and welcome back with this comment.

Evangelical Christians and Zionist Jews have a lot in common. We believe that king Messiah will come to Zion. A God man that will save the Jews. We disagree on who he might be. Evangelical Christians will use the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) to explain that Jesus is the Messiah. Just like Jesus him self, and the Jewish Apostles did.

The Zionist Jews have returned to Zion, and await their King. So do I. But I am waiting for His return. I am also aware that Zionist Jews are in danger of being deceived by the final fake Messiah, who will rule in Jerusalem just before the King of King returns.

      1. Welcome to the jungle. 2)All the Zionist Jews have arrived in Palestine? How do you know all have? This I gotta hear.

  3. “Evangelical Christians will use the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) to explain that Jesus is the Messiah. Just like Jesus him self, and the Jewish Apostles did.”

The church I came from use both the old testament and the new testament. We are all in agreement that Jesus Christ will return and he is the Messiah. God Bless.

    1. Dear Gloria.

Shalom, and thanks for being in ministry using this blog.

It is true that my Church too uses both the old and new Testament. But in front of a religious Jew, the New testament is not valid. It is simply not to be found in his Bible. So we have to try to convince him using the Hebrew Bible, the old testament.

      1. Ivarfjeld, thanks for clarifying. I don’t really know much about the Jewish religion.

I do have question however. Do you believe Ezekiel 39 is the same battle of Revelation 20:7-10? There are similar references, but I’m not sure.

      2. Dear Gloria.

        Shalom.

        Ezekiel 39:11
” ‘On that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east toward the Sea. It will block the way of travelers, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog.

        Revelation 20:7-8.

7When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them for battle.

The Bible can not contradict it self.

I am among the students of Jesus that believe that the Gog war is a part of the final war. Not a Zionist war, that will enlarge today’s political state of Israel. When Jesus returns He will reign over the whole Earth from Jerusalem. Not before.

    1. Dear Gloria.

      Shalom.

Thanks for being a student of Jesus. So am I. Being aware that I am a saved wreck, a former gentile viking, I have to pay attention to my Jewish Rabbi. I have been grafted into the Jewish faith, and I will stand by my Jewish brothers and sisters in their time of trouble.

Not all people who call them selves Jews, are a Jew inwardly. But since we all are going to face Jesus on our last day of Judgment, we need to keep on shining among men, and explain to them who the Messiah is. Jesus said: – You are the light of the World.

      1. the news the we read above about Hirisi Ali.is good thing.for others Muslims also it give some time to think what you follow ,where we will go.our Jesus Christ is savior but even his people doesn’t know him, said bible.be strong Christians,i wish all the best for our brothers(Muslims).Akiya ammen
