Palestinian agents to get diplomatic status but not immunity

I used Column One in Jerusalem Post as a source for this story. This is a copy of the correction that Caroline Glick has written on her blog:

The new Palestinian diplomats do not have a statehood under which legal system they can seek immunity and refuge from other nations persecution.

In Tuesday’s column I wrote that the US’s upgrade in the PLO’s Washington diplomatic mission gave added privileges to PLO representatives in the US. In fact, the upgrade is a symbolic gesture of support for the Palestinians. The representatives do not enjoy diplomatic immunity.
