Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad blames everyone for the internal problems in Iran.
“It is impossible to think of someone that the Iranians haven’t accused to be behind Jundallah“, explains Alex Vatanka. He is an Iranian-born analyst Alex Vatanka of the Middle East Institute in Washington.
Iranian government officials have ratcheted up their rhetoric against “outside” forces they accuse of a massive suicide bombing last Thursday.
“The Iranian leadership has blamed al-Qaida, The Taliban, The Pakistani Intelligence, other Arab Gulf states, the US, Israel, and the UK”, explains Vatanka.
The latest bombing took place at a Shi’ite mosque in Zahedan, a mid-sized city in the southeastern part of the country which killed at least 27 people and wounded about 270 others.
Several government officials told state TV that they blame agents from the US, Britain and Israel for the bombings while police reported detaining 40 people in connection to the attacks.
Jundallah, the Sunni Muslim group which claimed responsibility for the bombings, says that it is defending the rights of Sunnis inside Shi’ite Iran.
Iran executed Jundallah’s leader, Abdolmalek Rigi, last month. US leaders have been very vocal in condemning the suicide attack.
It is a very common strategy to blame your problems on anybody else than your self. Its the basic rule of living in self denial.
Whatever faults in India, is blamed on Pakistan. And visa versa.
The Iranian claim that the West in behind the civil war of Islam, is one of the best example of self denial. Because the Muslims have slaughtered their brethren for hundreds of years. They simply do not agree on who are the true followers of a man named Muhammad, claimed to be a true prophet.
And since Muhammad in the Koran demands the blood of those who do not listen to his true followers, Muslims that can not agree on faith issues, will simply start to kill each other. And use the Koran to defend their actions.
Barack Hussein Obama had a message to us in his famous speech in Cairo in 2009:
Islam is a great religion of “peace”.
