Pastor Egil Svartdal became famous on TV. Now he has sold his soul to the ecumenical winds promoted by the Vatican.
” In 20 years, there will lo longer be Pentecostals and Baptists, or the Church of Norway. Then we will all be “The Church”.
This was the message from the Pentecostal TV-pastor Egil Svartdal to a Summer Camp of Norwegian Pentecostal and Charismatic Church goers. His statement is recorded in the weekly Pentecostal magazine in Norway.
Norway’s most profiled Charismatic leaders raises his voice against the “body of Christs”, which he feels have become irrelevant for ordinary people.
” It must become more natural for ordinary people, who do not attend a Christian fellowship, to have a close relationship with God, explained the Word of Faith teacher Rune Edvardsen to the Magazine “Korsets seier”, (The victory of the cross).
On the Magazines comment column, the two Pastors are rebuked by a gentlemen named Anders Helge Myhren. He writes:
Ecumenical Charisma, or “The Third wave” within the Charismatic movement. was planted by Catholic Jesuit priests, to weaken the dogmatic barriers between “separated brethren”.
Personal experiences, the “atmosphere”, and various manifestations was promoted as truthful testimonies of God, and replaced the truthful documentation in the Word of God, the very foundation for the true faith.
Over the last years, several books has been published exposing the Vatican’s use of the doctrinal week Charismatic movement, as a tool to achieve ecumenical unity. The Jesuit Cardinal Augustine Bea, rejoices over the Pentecostal movements fresh anointing of Charismatic energy, in the process of leading the “separated brethren” back to the Mother Church of Rome.
