Turkish Ambassador to Israel Ahmet Oguz Celikkol will not return to Tel Aviv.
Just like the British Ambassador to Berlin was called home to London four days before the start of World War II, Turkey has recalled its Ambassador to Israel.
NATO-member Turkey has for the past six months held several military drills with Syria, a sworn enemy of the Jewish state.
Turkey is considering downgrading diplomatic relations with Israel and reviewing economic and military cooperation unless Jerusalem takes steps to make amends for the deadly raid on Gaza-bound aid ships, a Turkish official said on Thursday.
The official said that Turkey wants Israel to apologize for the raid, return the seized ships, agree to an international investigation and offer compensation for the victims. The official spoke on condition of anonymity in line with government rules.
Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said, in an interview with Israel Radio, that Israel has no intention of agreeing to Turkey’s demands.
“Whoever has demands like these, doesn’t have good intentions,” Ayalon said.

My comment:
If it had not been for the United States, Turkey and Syria would now had moved their military forces in war formation against Israel. A regional war in the Midlde East would have been looming.
But the US do still have influece on Turkey. The Obama Administration do not have the US Senate”s aproval for abanondiong their military agrement with the state of Israel. Pentagon has warned Ankara, that an attack on Israel will be looked up on as an attack on US interests in the Middle East.
As long as the US holds Veto powers in NATO, a joint Turkish-Syrian military attack on Israel is unlikely. Most people feel, that we still are in a situation where war rhetoric will not be followed by actions.
But if the Pan-Islamic nations decided to test the US will to support Israel, this is the time to strike. The US has over stretched its military capabilities, and do have enough at their hands in Iraq and Afghanistan.
And only God of the Bible known which side Barack Hussein Obama will end up supporting.

I thank Jesus for all who pray for Israel. Please also support Israel, by buying Israeli products. It you get a chance, take a holiday in Tel Aviv, Eilat and Jerusalem. That is a very good way of blessing the Jewish people.
None of the vicious attacks against Israel make any sense at all unless we understand the spiritual perspective. I do try to buy Israel’s products at our Costco when they carry them. It makes me feel close to a precious country that I cannot visit. Am praying for Israel continually knowing everything is under God’s control even dear Netanyahu’s backing down on demands made by the enemy.
