Jordan Times: Turkish PM Erdogan is the new Gamal Abdel Nasser

The uncompromising positions of Erdogan, has led the led the Arab street to consider him like a new Gamal Abdel Nasser.

If Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogùan is the new Nasser, than who is Barack Hussein Obama?

This is a statement by Michel Nawfal in Jordan Times. Nawfal is the authored of a book titled «The Return of Turkey to the Orient».

«The growing involvement of Turkey and its engagement in favour of the Palestinians, as well as the uncompromising positions of Erdogan, have led the Arab street to consider him like a new Gamal Abdel Nasser», said Michel Nawfal.

Turkey’s tough response to Israel’s raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla has cemented its popularity among Arabs, frustrated with their governments’ inability to face up to Israel, analysts say.

«Turkey is no longer considered the Trojan horse of the West in the region» said Nawfal. Turkey was the first Muslim country to establish diplomatic relations with Israel, and the two countries signed a military cooperation accord in 1996.

On Wednesday, Turkey’s parliament unanimously demanded the government review all political, economic and military ties with Israel. A day earlier, in an extraordinary session of Kuwait’s parliament, most deputies hailed what was called «the heroic stance of Ankara». And Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was interrupted by a long round of applause during a speech when he mentioned Turkey’s role.

Egyptian dictaror Gamal Abdel Nasser.

«This new role for Turkey», heir to the Ottoman Empire which ruled most of the Arab world for centuries until its defeat in World War I, «compensates for the weakness of Arab regimes», argued Nawfal.

«It also represents at the same time a positive equivalent to Iran’s» role in the region, he added.

My comment:

The Muslim World seems to have learnt nothing from the past, their heavy loses in all the wars against the state of Israel.

Like Adolf Hitler lead the Germans to total defeat during World War II, Egyptian dictator Gamal Abdel Nasser lead the pan-Arabic war machine to total defeat in 1956 and 1967.

To fight Israel and harm the Jewish people will be the most stupid thing you will ever do. The Bible says that God of Israel is the protector of the Jewish state, and that His enemies shall perish.

This does not mean that all Israel is doing is right. But do never harm her. Correct her in love, and stand with her in the Jewish people`s` time of trouble.

In regards to «This new role for Turkey as a heir to the Ottoman Empire», let me remind you:

The Ottoman Empire did not only side with the German Empire during World War I. This Islamic empire was responsible for the genocide of 1,5 million Armenians, in the days just before the «Ottomans» not so heroic collapse.

The Muslim Arabs should be more careful choosing their hero`s of age.

  1. Jew that live in Israel are not biblical Jews. in fact Benjermain Freeman gave an addres of the people who had stolen the land under the “Belfore Declaration”… This delaration was a set of secret diretive allowing The Eastern Jews to Basically enter a soverign country and terrorize the inhabitants until submission… Kind of like how the Mexicans and Blacks ARE TRAINED IN AMERICAN SCHOOLS TO ACT violently and wtih out regaurd for human life, TOWARDS THE EROUPEAN PEOPLE of whom are the heirs of this land…

    1. Dear Ben

Shalom, and love in Jesus the Messiah.

      My comment:

I have had the pleasure of visiting Israel many times. I also have Jewish friends. What is a Biblical Jew? I guess there are quite a few ways to discern:
      1. They up held the Sabbath from Friday evening at sunset.
      2. They believe that the law of Moses is divinely inspired.
      3. They celebrate the Biblical festivals like Purim, Passover and Shavout.
      4. They strictly upheld Yom Kippur.

I can confirm that the Jews inside Israel do agree with me.

You have to be pretty insane to follow these instructions of Judaism without having Jewish roots. People who believe that the people inside Israel are fake Jews, have simply been deceived to believe in the many lies of the father of all lies, The devil.

  2. If Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogùan is the new Nasser, may his fate be the same as the old Nasser.

    1. Dear BA Watchman

Shalom, and welcome with this comment.

We serve a merciful God, who because of the blood of Jesus, will not hold anything against us. If I am not mistaken, old Nasser died of a massive heart attack. Lets pray that the Prime Minister of Turkey do not end up in Hell. May He one day tell all Muslims in Ankara: – Give your life to Jesus, and support Israel. If not, you will all perish. Amen.

  3. I think the PM of Turkey is doing a huge mistake.
People are going to remember him getting closer to Iran and further away from the west (Israel included).
The people of Israel and the people of Turkey always had such a good relationship and it’s a shame that Erdoğan is happily destroying good faith for his narrow interests.

    1. Dear Andrea

Shalom, and welcome to this site.

Turkey and Israel has close connections through NATO. The generals of Turkey has traditionally been able to secure the secular nature of the Turkish republic. Now, Radical Islam seems to get the upper hand.

We need to pray for Turkey. That God of Israel will show mercy to their nation. And that they will be saved by the Jewish Messiah, Jesus. Amen.
