The US will force Israel to freeze construction in East Jerusalem

Israel faces no choice but to enforce a de-facto construction freeze in greater Jerusalem.

Interior Minister Eli Yishai has exposed how weak Zionism has become in Israel. Under global pressure, the Jewish state is presently a post-Zionist society.

Netanyahu won’t officially announce it, but will quietly execute it, says a senior cabinet source.

Amidst crisis with the White House, how will Israel respond to the American demands? According to a senior source in the government, «The price for the American insult will be a de-facto construction freeze across greater Jerusalem. There will be no other choice, due to the government’s stupidity», the source told Ynet.

The Prime Minister’s Office has yet to confirm the freeze – however some sources in the cabinet admit that the US is demanding the cancellation of a plan to construct 1,600 new housing units in Ramat Shlomo, across the Green Line in Jerusalem.

My comment:

It is fascinating to see with what speed Israel is forced into the end game.

While everyone was awaiting an Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear installation, the US is rather forcing Israel to give up Zionism. Just like demanded from anti-Zionist President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran.

The Israeli cabinet is highly divided. Orthodox Interior Minister Eli Yishai and secular Defense Minister Ehud Barak is like pools apart.

If the Netanyahu Government if forced to scrap 1.600 new housing units in Ramat Shlomo, you can only be sure of one event: More Haredim violence in Jerusalem,

The enforced end to Zionism will also lead to the break up of the Likud- Labor coalition. Welcome to the age of political chaos, violence, and eventually the enforcement of the «perfect» false peace plan.
