20 Pastors in Uganda demands an apology from pastor Rick Warren. The US Pastor has rebuked a law that bans Homosexuality in Uganda as «un-Christian».
«In a globalized world, this western takeover of institutions by homosexuals has turned into international promotion of homosexuality and of other vices like abortion and pornography in other countries».
The Ugandan pastors, calling themselves the Uganda National Pastors Task Force Against Homosexuality. They represent the National Fellowship of Born again Churches, Uganda Joint Christian Council and the Roman Catholic Church in Uganda.
In their letter, the group of 20 denominational leaders said the Purpose Driven Life author caused «distress» in their nation after he requested they speak out against the Anti-Homosexuality Bill 2009 currently awaiting approval in the Ugandan Parliament.
The rebuttal was spawned after the Saddleback Church founder issued a video statement on Dec. 11, calling the proposed bill «unjust, extreme and un-Christian toward homosexuals» The bill would impose the death penalty for some homosexual acts and force pastors to report conversations about homosexual practices. Warren said the measure would also squelch «the freedom to make moral choices».

There is absolutely no Biblical verses that approve Homosexuality as anything but punishable sin.
The is no Biblical defense for what Rick Warren is saying. Warren has become a politician, not a man who preach the Word of God.
If a man lies with a male as if he were a woman, both men have committed an offense (something perverse, unnatural, abhorrent, and detestable); they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (Amplified Bible)
The Jewish Apostle Paul also calls homosexuality a perversion of natural sexual relations:
1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality (Amplified Bible).
Shall homosexuals be put to death?
Absolutely not. In the New Covenant of grace people who lie, steal, and commit sexual sins can live. Live by the mercy and grace of the Messiah who bore such sins on the cross at calvary. But such sins still have to be branded as sins, and there is a need for call to repentance. Those who defend sins like homosexuality, needs to take a deeper look into what Jesus says about having a millstone around their neck.
But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
