«The Israeli Govermment moved on us in a «swiftie» worthy of totalitarian regimes».
This are the words of Gush Etzion Regional Council head Shaul Goldstein, on Army Radio Thuesday morning. He is planning to bar expected inspectors from entering by simply not opening the settlement’s electronic gate.
«We have no dispute with the inspectors, they are our brothers«, explained Goldstein, pointing out that the moratorium had not been approved by the government but rather by the security cabinet in a “swiftie” worthy of totalitarian regimes, and hence not a legitimate Israeli law to be followed.
Civil administration inspectors attempting to issue stop-work orders around Judea and Samaria encountered settler resistance on Tuesday, with protesters blocking their entry from Kiryat Arba. Settlers also spread out along roads near Karnei Shomron and refused to let inspectors pass.
Residents from Shavei Shomron, Talmonim and Revava, were also successful in preventing the inspectors’ access to the construction sites, though no violence was reported.
Tuesday, the Defense Minister Ehud Barak stressed that the security cabinet’s decision on a ten-month moratorium on new construction in Judea and Samaria will be fully implemented.

Its sad that the Government of Israel havs given up Biblical Zioism. That is based on the Bible explaining that the Jewish people will return to the promised land, and bild on the Mountains in Zion.
this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my burning zeal I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, for with glee and with malice in their hearts they made my land their own possession so that they might plunder its pastureland.’
Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I speak in my jealous wrath because you have suffered the scorn of the nations. Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I swear with uplifted hand that the nations around you will also suffer scorn.
” ‘But you, O mountains of Israel, will produce branches and fruit for my people Israel, for they will soon come home.
Now, it looks like the Israeli Army again will be forced to fight against their own Jewish brothers. Just like in Gush Katif, during the evacuation of Jewish land in Gaza, in a bid to get peace with Islamic terrorists. The bid failed.
The Government of Israel seems to fear Obama and the International community more than they trust their own God of Israel.
