Facing possible boycott: Israel to build its own navy ships

The Israeli navy has decided against purchasing a new fleet of naval ships from US contractors. Israel may instead build its own vessels at the shipyards in the northern port city of Haifa.

Israel was planning to purchase several corvette-size ships from either Lockheed Martin or Northrop Grumman. But when the cost of the ships from both US providers suddenly jumped up, Israeli officials were forced to conclude that they couldn’t afford them.

Instead, Israel is seriously designing and building its own naval corvettes based on the German Meko A-100 model.

If Israel does indeed decide to start producing its own naval ships, it would be a huge boost to the local economy. Naval officials said that boost is now a large determining factor in their final decision.

My comment:

My mother runs around buying oranges from Jaffa, every time the leftists calls for a boycott of Israeli products. I understand its time for Israel to get ready for more  industrial boycotts. Even the military industry might be forced to stay out of Israel, not being allowed to provide for the defense of Zion. This pressure are present at companies in countries that are members of NATO.

Not being Jewish, I acknowledge that God of Israel made his chosen people brainy. With the help of their God, my Messiah, the Jewish people will also be able to build their own naval battle ships. I hope and pray that such kind of ships never will be used, and that there will be peace both in Israel, in Jerusalem and in every Arabian country. In the name of Y´shua. Amen.
