This is a statement by Archbishop Jonathan Blake in an Independent Catholic Church in United Kingdom. The blood of Jesus and his body can be purchased for two British pounds.
This amount included package and stamps.
– We cant let elders and the sick miss the «Holy Communion», just because they are not able to come to Church on Sundays, explains Bishop Blake.
The Independent Catholic Church does also offer this door-to-door service to people who are not member of the Church. Also Atheists and Satanists, if they are interested.
– Jesus did not separate people. He gave up his life for all. The Body of Christ saves, says Blake, recored in the British Newspaper The Telegraph.

We might disagree of the full meaning of the instructions the Messiah gave to his students during the Last Supper But The Last Supper was very much a fellowship meal, also called a communion.
It was in fact a Jewish passover meal, at the upper room in Jerusalem. I wonder what Messianic Jews might think when they read this?
Can we be surprised, that Jews during the ages have refuse to believe in this kind of saving Romish Messiah?
This kind of «express post saving grace» has nothing to do with the Gospel. It a blasphemy, that serves at least two purposes. The concerned Archbishop gives those who do not believe in the Messiah more ammunition against the Church. And since the Bible says that the Word of God is the «bread of life», faithful Christians will forever refuse to take part in this kind of religious Catholic rituals.
The Body of Christ on Earth is those who believe in Him, and we can not save anyone. The Holy Spirit does. And salvation can never be gained by eating an oblate with the image of a crucifix. When Jews were burnt at stake, many of them was first paraded behind huge Catholic crucifixes.

I don’t agree with the premise of mailing the Eucharist to people, but I likewise disagree with yours. The communion of bread and wine consecrated as the body and blood of Christ was instituted by Christ Himself. It was the custom of the early Church and it existed BEFORE the Bible existed. It was the Church which gathered books together to make the Bible, a book that Jesus and the first Christians did not have. Clearly, the early Church had authority, but it was found in oral tradition, sacred tradition, and sacred custom. For you to speak of the saving grace of the Holy Spirit, and to separate this from the saving grace of the Eucharist which comes from the same source, is to deny to GOD the ability, intent, and power to impart His grace to humankind in as many ways as He sees fit.

My reply:
This is not correct. Jesus had a Bible in his hand, in the form of Torah scrolls. He preached from the Old Testament. He explained to the Jews the most important parts of the Law, and about all the prophecies. Exactly what they meant. We call this Bible the Hebrew Bible, a Bible used by the Jews up to this day.
How did the Jews (many of them) know Jesus was the Messiah?
They believed Jesus, when He explained to them the verses in the Old Testament that foretold His coming.
The New Testament is a collection of books and letters that explains to us all that Jesus did, and continued to do trough the Apostles in the book of Acts. The New Testament never contradict the Old Testament. They are one Book, that tells us about who our God is. Father, Son and Spirit.

My Comment: I don’t understand your comment. Please correct me if I’m wrong Beth, but are you saying that Christ had nothing to do with the writing of the Holy Bible?
The authors of the bible were believers of Jesus Christ, and were in “direction” of the Holy Spirit when it came to writing God’s Word.
(John the writer) of Revelation 22 verses 18-19 gives a clear example that the Holy Bible is God’s word. 18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.

The Church did not exist before the Word of God, like you say.
The Church is based on the Word of God.
The Catholic Church is not the first Church, let alone a correct Church.
The Catholic Church is not in the Bible. It is not the Catholic Church who “gathered books together to make the Bible.”
It’s important to remember that the canon of the New Testament was not the result of any pronouncement by any official of the church or any organizational body. Rather, the canon was determined by the authoritative use of these books right from the start by the rapidly expanding Church of the first and second centuries.
The Catholic Church is a false church that begun with falseness, and continued over the centuries with more and more false doctrines and practices.
Nor are the Catholic Popes of those who built the foundation. The foundation is laid by the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. (See Ephesians 2:19)
What you call “oral tradion” is not permission for Catholic Popes to add to the Bible doctines that aren’t from the Bible. All the things the Apostles orally taught—is confirmed in the written Word.
