Netanyahu: Israel supports two-state solution.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told president Obama that he supports the two-state solution. Its all ready there. Since 1967 this solution has brought peace between hostile nations in the Middle East.


In 1917, the United Kingdom supported the same two-state solution. The British Parliament decided that the British mandate area should be divided into two separate states.

One Jewish Nation for the Jewish people, and one nation for Arab people. Later the two nations was named Israel and Jordan. The Jewish nation was to include the mountains of Zion, which includes the districts of Judea and Samaria.

Today the media calls this area « West Bank». This strange river bank west of the Jordan river was to be included in the Jewish homeland. The area east of Jordan was to be given to the new Arab Kingdom of Jordan.

When the British Royal Army withdrew from Jerusalem in 1947, the Kingdom of Jordan invaded the city and the mountain ranges west of the River Jordan. This Jewish land was occupied by the Arabs up to 1967. That was the year also East Jerusalem was liberated from Arab occupation

The Arab occupation was a violation of the original plan for a two-state solution, expressed in the British Balfour-declaration.

This letter is the evidence, that the British Parliament did promise the Jewish people the Biblical heartland of Zion as their homeland: This is the copy of a letter from the British Foreign Secretary Arthur James Balfour , to the Jewish leader Baron Lord Rothschild.

Dear Lord Rothschild,

I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of His Majesty’s Government, the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been submitted to, and approved by, the Cabinet:

«His Majesty’s Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country».

I should be grateful if you would bring this declaration to the knowledge of the Zionist Federation.
