Did the Jews kill their own Messiah?

jesus-carries-the-cross

«if Jews didn’t kill Jesus, who did???» Certainly Romans drove the nails into his hands and feet, but the Jewish Sanhedrin sentenced him to death».

This was the best comment on this blog this week, and its illustrate one of the most important questions in the history of the human race. A lot is at stake here.

The «problem» with the death of Jesus, is that in the Court of Law, there has has to be a dead body before anybody can be accused of murder.

Since the Bible claims Jesus is alive, someone must have misunderstood.

Not only does the Bible claims that the Messiah is alive, tens of millions of people claims the same.

Jesus him self support those who claim that the Jewish people is innocent of this human accusation, that they are murders:

John 10:17-18:

«The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father».

Jesus Him self gave up His life. And He took it back, to be alive forever more. The grave was empty. The was no murder, there was no killer, and the supposed to be a victim is alive and kicking.

The human Court of Law, who have accused the Jewish people of «killing» their own Messiah, King Y´shua is the real criminals. They have even committed genocide in the name of peace and justice to prove their case.

In the Bible, such people are accused to be with the very anti-Jewish Messiah. In the Greek version of the Bible, such a person is labeled as an antichrist.

Jesus did not carry the cross because He wanted anyone to be blamed. He carried the cross to carry the sins of the World. He died on the cross in Jerusalem and rose again!, so we all could get a chance to change our ways, believe in Him and live.

I am one of His witnesses. The Jewish Messiah is alive, and He loves the Jewish people.

Back to the original question:

Who «killed» Jesus?

I did. It was my sins that drove Jesus to the cross. He gave up His life because He loved me.

You also are a sinner that needs to be saved by Him.

  1. We all put him to death by our sins but through his death comes our forgivness for he is risen and through his death comes our salvation – Amen

    1. Dear Kazi.

Love in Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah, in English named Jesus.

Jesus died for your sins. You are a sinner, and you need to change your way and give your life to the Jewish Messiah. He loves the Jewish people, and He loves you. You are correct. He will return to Earth, and bring an end to the anti-Jewish Messiah. This man is also called the antichrist. One of the things he does, is to persecute, hate and kill Jews. Kazi. Dont end up supporting the children of antichrist.

  2. The Jews did not kill Jesus The Romans did and during the Roman persecution of christians and the burning of their books on christ the Romans made new ones saying the Jews killed him. But Herod was mostly a Roman and killed john the baptist so logic would say he probably killed jesus and the Roman governor was all to willing to kill an upstart. The Romans were notorious for killing rapeing and stealing why would this be any different. Yes I am a christian but a logical one that questioned the priests when they said Pontius piolet cleaned his hands of the blood.

My comment: no one killed or murdered Jesus. The Jewish Sandhedrin sentenced him only. The Romans beat and flogged and put him on a cross. But as scripture says “He GAVE UP His spirit and died.” Jesus GAVE IT UP. No one took it from him. As some on that day mocked him saying “if your are the messiah then come down!” But Jesus CHOSE to stay on the cross then GAVE UP his spirit and died.

Praise God He is always in control and that no one, not even the very powerful Roman empire of the day, could take his life!

Please see that this is not me arguing with you, but me desiring to share a clarification od scripture with you as God has lead me in my own journey. 💙

    1. Abdu,

The Word of God is the ocmplete truth. Jesus Christ died for our sins, Jesus Christ rose, and is coming soon, and every knee shall bow and Confess to God.

      Romans 14:11
It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.'”

  3. No mans hand killed JESUS 1 ,HE was killed by the sins of the whole world, 2 HE was our passover and died on the 14th day of the 1st month, 3 HE was without blemish, 4 HE represented both lamb and goat, 5 HE was male and young and represented all the sanctuary animal offerings, 6 HE was up for examination for four days before persicution, 7 HE had no bones brocken, 8 HE was left in one piece, 9 HE thirsted for water, 10 HE had his back flayed twice, 11 HE was not on the cross till morning, 12 HIS blood was sprinkeld on the alter, 13 HE is our continual sacrifice and was on the Alter from the morning and till just before sundown, 14 HE was properly laid upon the cross/wood, 15 HE was the sin offering ,and was crusified outside the camp, 16 HE was killed outside/above the tabernacle, 17 HIS blood poured out beside the cross/alter, 18 HE shed blood from seven wounds and HIS blood flowed down his cross/alter into the crack opend { when the rocks where rent } contiued down this 20 ft crack and into the Holly place and came to rest on the mercy seat/Ark of the Covernent/GODS earthly Throne which holds the ten comandments, completeing the sacrifice in every perfect detail just as it was done by the high preists, only in this case JESUS was himself the high preist….15-16-17 were the requirements for sacrificeing the bullock .When the Babylonians surounded Jerusalem 600 years before the sacrifice of JESUS CHRIST , Jeremiah hid the Ark of the Covernent outide the city but within the seige wall, and in a cave system or grotto as he knew the babylonians would destroy the city and find it,also the Romans would have a designated place just outside the city and on a buisy road so all could witness the stoneings, sacrifices etc, and not at the top of a hill as we have bean lead to believe.I must also add that this revelation does not add or change one single word or letter or coma or punctuation mark in the Bible, neither does it alter the meaning of GODS WORDS , but fulfills them completely………. LEV 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood:and I have given it to you upon the alter to maketh an atonement for your souls:for it is in the blood that maketh atonement for the soul…….Upon reading this do not let yourself be shocked into dissbeleif or angerd into dissregard but research this with all your heart and soul ,leaveing no stone unturned until you reach a judgment, as this discovery is to important as it is the witness in 1 JOHN 5: 6-11..and many others ..I prey that JESUS guides you to find HIS truth..

    1. Please read these scriptures as proof of post above HEBREWS 9:11 But CHRIST being come an high preist of good things to come,by greater and more perfect Tabernacle ,not made with hands, that is to say,not of this building: 12.. Neither by blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he enterd once into the holly place, haveing obtained eternal redemption for us all ……read also.. 13 and 14.. then go to REVELATIONS 5:8-9.. also read.. 5:9.. then go to.. 1 PETER 1:18-19.. then go to 1JOHN 1:7.. now go back to HEBREWS.. 10:29.. and follow onto HEBREWS 13:20….

    2. 1 JOHN 5:6-11 That is he that came by water………JESUS died because his heart broke ,so when the roman guard pierced his spleen { a trained method } blood plasma/water flowed out…..”.three bare witness IN earth” ….why IN earth not on ? this points to something think about it ? now think about this sacrificial system above, does this not point to JESUS on the cross ,theres just too maney things going on here to disreguard after all, is this not the most important event in our history ,do we not owe it to JESUS to investigate every tiny detail ?

      1. JOHN 19:34…………… But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side and forthwith came there out blood and water…….JOHN 19:35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.

  4. MYSTRIES AT THE CROSS……In the temple service, when the animal brought as a sacrifice was slain ,the high preist, clothed in a white robe ,caught in his hand the blood that gushed forth ,and cast it in the direction of the tabernacle or temple, this was done seven times,as an expresion of perfection . JESUS had seven wounds and HIS blood flowed straight down in the direction of Jeremiah’s grotto which holds to this day the Ark of the Covenent therefor makeing it the tabernacle/temple

    1. Do understand that I did not discover these revelations ,neither are these my deductions neither do I find joy in writeing these words as it pains me deeply, thinking of the pain and humiliation my LORD sufferd, I am unashamed to say the tears flow from my eyes at times I cannot sea my screen, but I stand by the Christian family who dedicated their life to bring this to us.and may GOD be my judge

    2. GOD made a wounderfull provision for this Ark .No man could defile it ,only the high preist could come nigh unto it,and then if he did not comply with GODS requirements ,he to would be struck dead .It remaind the only place on earth that could receive CHRISTS BLOOD …….read PSA 89:14../….perfect JUSTICE requires the death of a sinner, but perfect MERCY required the perfect substitute for the trully repentant sinner …read PSA 85:10-11………I can go on and on proveiding suport for this discovery but I beleive this is GODS way of testing our faith so therefor it is your choice to either further your research or simply discredit this overwheming evidance..

  5. Jeshua was a Jew who was really killed, but it would be wrong to say “the Jews killed Jesus” it would be the same as saying the Belgians killed Julie and Melissa (from the Dutroux case), the Jews killed Osama bin Laden, the Palestinians killed so and so, or the French killed the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists. It where under pressure of highpriests and Pharisees that certain Jews and non Jews ordered the death of Jesus. But he was impaled by Roman soldiers, who were not Israelites but Italians and no Jews.

      1. Tifany I like your reaction. It is true that Jesus “gave it up”; he gave his soul to the death. But such a way of thinking lots of people put on a torture stake were not killed but gave up.

    2. GOD gave his only son as a sacrifice,it was his intention that Jesus die and be raised for mankind sin’s to stop sin sacrifice of the Hebrew and create a new covenant ..

      1. I do not doubt that. I am convinced that Jesus was a man of flesh and blood who really died and was the son of man and son of God and not a god son like so many Christians claim.

    1. This is where i get really irritated. You make smart comments that show you are not comprehending the discussion. Give us a chance and slowly read our comments.

A human flogged Jesus. A human spit on him and beat him. No one could kill him! He is the Son of God! Jesus GAVE UP his spirit and died. No one took his life, it is impossible. What mere human would have the ability to take God’s life from him? Many were guilty of battery or attempted murder according to law, but no one actually took his life. He gave it up. The point is that he is God and is in control and also that his love is perfectly reflected in the giving up of his life in place of ours.

A human that murders another human is a murderer. No one had the ability to murder/kill God himself, even while he was in the flesh as the person of Jesus Christ.

  6. “But woe unto him who betrays Christ” , even though Christ also had to be betrayed to fulfill prophecy and his sacrifice.

  7. He was the lamb that was slain. Slain means killed by others. Nothing in this world is possible except that God allows it to happen. So your arguement is not reasonable. Jesus did not run away from his fate, he allowed himself to be slain, killed.

    1. Dear Edward.

      Shalom and love in Jesus.

No one have “killed” Jesus. There is no case in the criminal court of law. If you are right. Please shwo me the dead body. And If you need someone to accuse of “killing” Jesus, please make me the criminal, and no on else.

  8. Do they have to drag the dead body into court? Once a person is pronounced dead by the authorities isn’t that enough as evidence in court? Even If the mafia steals the corpse of their victim from the graveyard then buries it in concrete where nobody can find it, is the case thrown out of court? Sorry, a person cannot plead guilty to a crime if the evidence tells otherwise.

    1. Dear Edward.

      Shalom, and love in Jesus.

You either purpusly twist the message, or you do not understand. Noboddy who gives up their life for free is “murdered”. No one “killed” the Messiah. He had to die, or you would be lost for eternlity. The good news is that Jesus is alive. He is God. So what is the problem?

  9. Rev.5:12 In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!”

    Slain –
    slain/slān/ past participle of slay1.

    slay1/slā/
    verb
kill (a person or animal) in a violent way.

Slain is Killed. If they didn’t do anything wrong why would they ever change their ways?

  10. “How you judge so shall you be judged.” They judged by the Law and you’re trying to let them off the hook by a spiritual interpretation.

For when I tried to keep the law, it condemned me. So I died to the law–I stopped trying to meet all its requirements–so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Those people who refused to repent and adhered to the law killed Jesus, those who repented and live by the spirit Jesus gave himself up for.

    1. There is simply a miscommunication here. We will never be able to describle further what we mean in writing. I see you are a beliver. Im satisfied with that. But your comment a few back was smart mouthed and not in love. Basically you were making fun and not trying to have a productive discussion so i called you out as a brother who is not acting like a brother should. In love i ask you to agree that our belief that Jesus as our Lord and Savior is what unites us and this other idea and discussion is not and issue of salvation, so we can disagee. Thank you.

  11. Yes I believe I misunderstood Marcus’ intent. The originaly comment was in response to Marcus’ comment. I thought he was ready to let all the murders go free. But I think he was correcting you, that such thinking could be taken too far. And I believe that is also the message of Jesus. He gave it up for those he will save, but was slain by those he condemns. We have discussions to better our understanding, sometimes there is disagreements, arguements and debates which are all the process of discussions. No hard feelings I hope.
